This property was top notch. From the welcoming note with chocolate covered macadamia nuts to their communication with us, the managers of the unit were friendly, hospitable, and professional. The unit is comfortable and well stocked. I gave all 5 stars except for location (4 stars) - there is just a slim ocean view down a ravine across the golf course, and the beach is not easily walkable (although the walk to the Monkey Pod, Pita Paradise, and the new sushi restaurant in the Wailea Gateway village is very easy and short), but there was no misrepresentation here - we knew it where it was and we were very happy. If you want a more private location than many other local condos, this is the place for you.

Nice quiet location, clean and great communication with the property managers. Loved sitting on the lanai in the morning watching the birds. Air conditioning is new and efficient, but we only used periodically as the condo stays nice and cool due to the location facing the tropical bushes. You can see the ocean as well. Would most definitely stay here again!

Nice property. Clean and a great location. Nice ocean view with great sunsets. Had OK communication but I would prefer a call. All communications were texts and emails. We never talked to anyone. We had a hard time finding the unit. We had to drive around and ask people on the street where the unit was. That is the only issue we had. Would stay here again (now that we know where the unit is).

Our condo was very nice for everythinbg we wanted to do in Maui. Very clean, very well stocked (Beach chairs, beach towels and beach unbrella). Wonderful view of the ochean. Second bedroom could upgrade their beds and pillows. Also, being on the first floor and having noisy neighbors upstairs, we could hear early and late walking around through the floor.

This is the first time we have rented this condo. It was beautifully decorated, great air-conditioning, nice water pressure, and very clean. The team were wonderful to work with and very responsive. We were here for a sister's wedding and needed an ironing board which was not there. Laura arranged for someone to bring by a brand new one a few hours after our request. Wailea Ekolu Village #1605 is a lovely 2bd/2ba condo. The condo itself is clean and spacious. The back patio has a partial ocean view and relaxing and very private setting. It's a great place to start your day with coffee and end your day with a glass of wine (or mai tai). It's a short walk to Wailea Tennis Center and a quick drive to the best beach options. We'd stay here again without question.

We loved our stay at this property. The kitchen had everything we needed, from rice cooker to French press. The bedrooms had TVs and remodeled bathrooms which were nice. The backyard offered a wonderful sunset view of the ocean. It took 30 seconds to walk to the pool. Several nice beaches were within a 10-minute drive. The property managers were responsive and helpful. We will definitely come back!

The Mrs and I had a great 9 days in Maui to pursue our hobbies of road biking and hiking. Our pursuits were paused to accommodate a couple days of rain,... but we made due. Two minor items detracted from a perfect score from our rental; 1) the active kid upstairs, banging out his dance routine (for hours - up to his 9:00 pm, thankfully, bedtime)!,.., and 2) not quite completed drywall/baseboard renovations (towel rack and TP dispenser fell off their respective bases a couple times - revealing some sanding/painting work that was still in progress)! As qualified earlier, these were minor issues and #1 was not the owners fault. The accommodations and amenities were 5 star and we’d definitely come back (but to a second floor unit)! 🤗

Really enjoyed our stay here! This property had absolutely everything you could need - beach chairs, towels, cooler, umbrella, laundry pods, the whole nine yards. The ceilings are definitely thin in terms of being able to hear your upstairs neighbors, but if you're doing Maui right, you shouldn't be spending much time inside anyways!! Close to shopping and food and beaches. Super easy to work with, and very communicative. We will definitely be back.

I’ve stayed in Ekolu Village probably a dozen times over the years. This is the only unit I’ve purposefully stayed in more than once. I love just about everything about this unit - the location, the decor, the lanai… My only complaint is that, on this last trip, I had elephants in the unit above me. (You know what I mean) Certainly not the owners fault, just bad timing with some thoughtless neighbors. Would it stop me from staying here again? Heck no! The risk of noisy people upstairs is far out weighed by the ground-level patio and general convenience o f this unit. Yeah, it’s on the expensive side compared to other Ekolu units, but it takes away the risk of having a suboptimal place.

Lovely condo in a beautiful community. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room and good furniture. Gorgeous lanai and view. Nice kitchen, but it would have been helpful to have some basic spices, oil available for guests for cooking. Also, the unit needed more drinking glassware. There were plenty of wine glasses, but for water, etc. Had large plastic stock of cups, but save those for the beach. Not fun to drink out of plastic. Other suggestion would be to share in the owner's packet that the complex has recycle bins and provide recycling bin in kitchen to encourage this practice. We only discovered the recycling option mid into our week. Overall, lovely unit, useful pleasant kitchen, adequate bathrooms, relaxing patio and close enough to the beach. Thank you for sharing!

Place was as listed . Was a little dirty when we arrived , some hair on the walls in the bathrooms and the toilet paper holder was broken. Was told that the air and lights would be on when we arrived and that there would be a small welcoming gift as well but none of it was true . Place was nice but not worth the money . Could get a better deal closer to the beaches too

Fortunately, we brought a sound machine so the noise didn’t keep us awake at night. Even with the noisy footsteps…I would stay here again.

Internet wasn't working and management was unresponsive after multiple requests. I had to walk to friends condo daily to get my work done. Everything else was great but extremely inconvenient not having that service.

Negatives are..you can hear the other renters walking upstairs, no voices, but didn’t bother us much.
Positives. This place has everything from good cooking knives to beach toys and pool floaties. It even had a pack and play for our 1 year old (we rented one not knowing it was there). View was spectacular. Proximity to Monkey Pod Kitchen was great. Grounds and community pool were gorgeous. A/C gave us a great nights sleep every night and cool naps during the day.
If the mattress was a bit higher quality, this place would be a 5/5. We still slept well, linens were nice, but to each their own.
Don’t forget, most everything in a kitchen in Hawaii is electric, including the BBQ on the lanai and the cook top. For home or professional chefs, this place might disappoint, but knowing this about Hawaii before we visited, it was one of the best kitchens we’ve used.
