We were looking for a week-long getaway for our family. The rental agency was fantastic and provided all the information we needed for a successful stay. The apartment was perfect for our needs. Being our first time in Maui, we were able to practice snorkeling off the beach at the resort and relax on the generous lanai in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall a great location! Saw turtles and whales from the balcony which made the location special. The property is a little tired and could use some overall upgrades. The pocket door in the master bath needs fixing - noisy and off the rollers, sliding doors onto the lanai need replacing - let air in and out. The vacuum needs replacing - filthy would not use it. Residual dust and dirt behind the beside tables was a build up over time - would have cleaned it but the vacuum wasn't operable. Close to nearby stores and restaurants was handy! The place is primarily all rentals but met some very nice people who've been there many times. Great place for daily beach adventures and road trips to see the island. Parking at night near the condo is a crap shoot at best - very crowded parking lot. Overall good trip - once the upgrades and little more attention to detail is required for cleaning the condo.

Lots of whale sightings from the balcony also had 2 turtles that visited several times. Very comfortable condo, a/c works great as the afternoon sun really warms the place a/c was a nice option. Kitchen is great for those stay in and watch the whale days. Would love to stay there again.

It’s very cloudy due to the salt in the air that constantly hits it. Definitely not a dealbreaker though as the lanai is right around the corner. Keypad entry/ checkin/ checkout is wonderful!

This was a great vacation and we will definitely rent again. Location is close to everything…short 10 min drive to downtown Lahaina. Check in was easy and hosts were easy to communicate with. Home was well-stocked. View was amazing!!!

This was a lovely, very clean ocean side condo with a beautiful 4th floor view from a wrap around deck, located a convenient distance from the Ka'anapali Beach resorts and Lahaina on Maui. It was a very spacious 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom unit with comfortable king size beds, big windows & air conditioning throughout, tastefully decorated, enjoyable living room & dining space and an updated kitchen complete with necessary equipment, implements, dishes, appliances and basic supplies. The building also had an ocean side pool with ample lounges, tables & chairs with umbrellas and nearby barbeques for fixing meals. We feel these features were accurately described in the VRBO materials, the pricing was reasonable for the quality of fixtures provided and we found the processes of making our reservation, checking in/out, parking, etc. very easy to follow. We sincerely believe others seeking a condo in this area with features like this one has will not be disappointed.

We had a great time in this beautiful condominium. The views are exceptional, and we saw lots of whale activity right off the balcony. Kitchen was good, and we made most of our meals while there. Nice area to walk each morning. We loved our stay.

This unit with the spacious living area and the wrap around Lanai was wonderful. Two king beds and ensuite bathrooms, plus a half bath was great. Lanai flooring may need an upgrade and some new cooking pans would be nice. HIGHLY recommend this property and hope to be back again soon.

We really enjoyed our time here. The condo was well-equipped and comfortable for 2 couples. The view is amazing. We could see whales, turtles and a submarine from the lanai. Erosion has destroyed the beach in front, but you could access a small beach by walking along the sandbags a little ways.
Biggest negative was that the a.c. was broken the whole time we were there, so we were uncomfortable a few nights (and the few afternoon we weren’t out exploring), and we all felt that it was a lot to pay for no air conditioning.

Views from the deck are great. The main living area has been updated. The carpets in the bedrooms are stained and I found garbage (empty water bottle/hair bands) behind headboard in master. Location of property is good and communication with owner was great.

We are regulars at the Royal Kahana and would rent this unit again. Clean , nice owners, great location. Not a resort with all the perks and NOISE. If you like a more peaceful stay it’s a great option

Our group of four loved this place! The communication was great and the location is phenomenal! When you walk in and see the ocean through all of the windows it is a wow factor! Many great restaurants/shops located within a walk. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for the great stay!

Just got back from being at this property from June 12, 2021 to June 18, 2021. I will give the good, bad and ugly.
The Good: Great view from the balcony.
The Bad: Don't look at the pictures, especially the ones that show a beach. There is NO BEACH at this property. It has eroded and all there is are gigantic sand bags and rocks. There is no beach here, no beach access here, and many other places nearby that actually do have a beach. The kitchen is TINY. The dining room is WAY TOO CRAMPED and absolutely NO WAY a family can enjoy a dinner there. The sectional is extremely worn, and the recliner part is broken. The carpet is gross and needs to be replaced. There is ZERO, and I mean ZERO cabinet space or pantry to place your groceries. The only place to put any groceries is on the counter next to the sink ... but you don't want to do that because all of the sugar ants that will get into your food. If you plan on buying groceries and keeping them there, also by a cubbard from WalMart to store your groceries. The closets are full of cleaning equipment, so don't expect to hang any clothes in them; however, if you do, you will have to reposition the sliding mirror doors as they always fall off the tracks.
The UGLY: The a/c was out and the hot water was out for 4 of the 6 days I was there. The host (who isn't the owner) has virtually ignored what my daughter and I had to endure while there. The sunset heat beating down on the unit made it impossible to enjoy. Sleeping was difficult for us; if you like sweating when you sleep you might like it. I guess the upside of no hot water was that I could take a cold shower to cool off.
Long story short: Move on from this property. It ain't worth it. Trust me on this one.

We had stayed at the Royal Kahana last year in a one bedroom. When our cousins decided to join us this year, we booked a two bedroom. This was an absolutely fabulous location on the 4th Floor, a corner unit with a huge balcony and unbelievable view! When we arrived everything was perfect, clean, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable. We spent every morning out on the Lanai with coffee and breakfast and even had a dinner or two. There are three bathrooms, one in the main area and each bedroom had an attached bath. Perfect for two couples. No charge for parking and free internet was great. Highly recommend the Royal Kahana Two Bedroom #410. We had a wonderful time. Sadly my cousins had to leave at the end of the week, but my husband and I were lucky enough to return to the same one bedroom at the Royal Kahana we had last year for another heavenly week!

We have been going to the Islands for over 20 years, sometimes 3-4 times a year, and have stayed at many condos. The Royal Kahana is the one we have settled on. There is no need for us to continue looking. The beach is PERFECT for what we like to do, which is float in our blow-up chairs from the point to the far beach before the rocks. What a great way to spend the day. It is also a great beach for little ones as it is shallow entry. This unit with the well furnished wrap-around lanai is wonderful. The condo is spacious and comfortable and very well appointed. Usually, I do not sleep well on the first night, however the bed and pillows must be good as I slept perfectly from the start. The air conditioners work great, just be sure to close the curtains in the afternoon to help keep the sun out and the unit cool. There is a down side to this place however. The morning after you have returned home, when you first rise and attempt to open the slider to the Lanai to check the view and see where the turtle is sitting, you will suffer depression upon realizing there is no lanai, no turtle, no ocean, no Molokai. It was all just a dream and now you have to go back to work. Ooooohhh, the agony of it all.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in 410!
We appreciated that there were good supplies in all bathrooms. The beds were comfortable with decent pillows. We would have liked to have an extra blanket or two for the beds. The master bed had a bedspread, but the second bedroom and the pullout only had a sheet and a fairly thin blanket.
The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and supplies. We really appreciated that, since other members of our family stayed in condos that didn't even have salt and pepper!
Furniture was comfy. Loved that there were lots of chairs on the lanai. We spent lots of time there enjoying the perfect view. It definitely got hot in the afternoon due to facing west, but it was worth it for that view!
The Royal Kahana was a nice place. The people at the desk were not inclined to help us much since we booked with VRBO instead of with them, but the rest of the staff was friendly.
We were very happy we stayed in 410 and would definitely go back. We wrote in the guest book about how we enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

Maui is awesome, but what made it better was this unit. The Royal Kahana 410 was wonderful and provided everything we needed, including gorgeous sunsets!! Getting access codes and communication from Shelly and Dan was outstanding. Inside there is more than enough space to hang out and relax and the amazing lanai provides even more space. This place should definitely be on your list!!!

This was best vacation ever. Everyone in the family enjoyed the place, no complains. The place is in very good condition and the location is the best.
The view from the place cannot be describes in words, you have to be there to understand.
We were able to snorkel all day long, swim in the pool in the evenings after sunsets.
We are set for our next visit, to this place.

This is a wonderful place with a spectacular view and ocean experience. It was great to wake up to the beautiful ocean and then watch the sun set off of the very comfortable lanai. Fabulous!!
