This is a solid condo with a great location for exploring the island. Really convenient access to shops (ABC) and restaurants. Would recommend for those who prioritize value and having the basic necessities. Staff was friendly and helpful and the pools are conveniently located. Would definitely book again!

We had the absolute best stay at Plantation Hale. First time to the Island and we already want to go back! We found a gem of a condo and absolutely loved it! Super easy check in, plenty of parking, beautiful well maintained grounds, perfect location, safe location and the condo unit it self is so cute, plenty of room, very comfortable and very clean! I want the owner to come decorate my house- it is seriously the cutest with beachy/hawaiian decorations and comfortable functional furniture, everything you would ever need in the kitchen, bathroom, plenty of bath and beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, etc! The towels felt so soft and brand new! Stocked with dish soap, paper towels, TP, first aid kit, etc just all the little extras it was nice to have and not worry about having to buy! I didn’t want to leave to go home! The separate bedroom from living room is a nice bonus incase one person wants to go to bed and the other wants to stay up a little/watch some tv! Quick drive to and from airport and ideal location. Not to far to do day trips to North or South! And perfect to enjoy Kaapa - walk a very short walk to the ocean, bike path near by, and walk to coconut market place- super convenient to have the ABC store less than a minute walk away! We went to ABC store almost every day! The bike /walking path in Kaapa is amazing- views are incredible! Kaapa has so many cute stores too! Also walking distance to restaurants such as Lava Lava Beach Club!! Our stay could not have been more perfect- we loved the condo, we were very comfortable there, plenty of room- comfortable bed! Decor 100 % made me feel spoiled to stay in such a beautiful condo! Quiet complex-very peaceful! Also laundry available on site incase you need it- nice convenience! Would recommend 10/10! Mahalo!

Affordable, clean and convenient condo in a good location to get around Kauai. 15 minutes from Lihue, 5 minutes from Kapa’a, 40 minutes from Hanalei, 35 minutes frok Poipu. Point being, nowhere seems too far out of the way from this spot. Inside it was super clean and comfortable. Kitchen had most all the amenities you need to cook meals. Only things I’d request for future visits would be a rice cooker and croc pot. Aside from that had all we needed. AC worked really well. Really enjoyed our stay and would come back for sure. Also a 5 minute walk to the Lava Lava Beach club which is a great beach front restaurant for the with live music!

This place was very cute! Very functional and in a great location. We could walk to the beach, several restaurants and get groceries all in 3-5min of walking. The only downsides were the air conditioning was only in the living room, so the bedroom was pretty hot. And there was one bug that we had to chase down. Other than that, this place was great! They even had an ice chest that we could take out, which came in handy several times.

And the property management company gave clear check-in instructions & were easy to get a hold of. That being said, there were a couple of things to mention- one of the hotel pools was out of order, don’t expect any help from the front desk staff ( only the association side around the corner but it was limited), & we had a few critter visitors inside the unit. I’m born & raised on the island so I’m fully aware of how the tropical climate is but I think due to the proximity to the large brush area & an unsealed window, spiders & roaches have easy access. Overall, we had a nice stay here, just have the raid spray handy.

Beautiful beach within walking distance and all staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

We stayed here with our 2 year old toddler and had the best time! The property is beautiful and we really enjoyed having multiple pool options. It’s so close to the local market which made it so easy for us as well as walking distance to a few great beaches and restaurants! The unit itself was great for us, they provided all the beach gear we needed, AC, and a very comfortable bed! The location is a great point for visiting all sides of the island without spending too long driving. Had a great experience with the hosts and rental company! 5/5 Will definitely be back. We stayed in this unit for 2 weeks and this is my first time leaving a review for a vacation rental, even tho we have stayed in many over the years.
PROS:: location was convenient for easy access to all areas of the Island.
Management company was great.
Pool and hot tub areas were close and kept clean as well as BBQ.
Unit was ok size for a couple.
King size bed was comfortable.
Flooring was mostly updated, as well as kitchen and bathroom countertops, sinks etc.
Close to beaches, shopping, restaurants.
CONS: Unit really needs a complete deep clean, bathroom floor tiles were dated and extremely filthy, looked like they had not been washed In quite some time.
Traffic noise was very loud as there was only a hedge separating the very small and filthy lanai from the highway.
Kitchen was ok stocked for supplies but we had to buy a fry pan as there was only one very small and scratched one.
TV was hard to operate and continually shut off.
Noise from the unit upstairs was at times very loud.
We had two cockroaches in the unit, and we know it is the tropics but it wasn't enjoyable.
Overall , we still enjoyed our vacation in Kauai but we would not stay in this particular unit again.
