This property was absolutely stunning! We throughly enjoyed the unbeatable sunrise view from the lanai. The kitchen was well appointed which was important for our family as we enjoy cooking meals together even when on vacation. Overall, we had enough starter supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms to last the entire week. We also sincerely appreciated the beach gear and bikes that were available in the garage. A bonus was the website provide by the property owners which provided tour and restaurant recommendations on the island. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

This was our first trip to Hawaii and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The view is unbelievable and we enjoyed the sunrise every morning. The house has everything you could need, and we appreciated the snorkel gear, cruiser bikes and beach equipment available. We feel so lucky to have found Orchid Point and highly recommend to anyone looking to stay on Kauai.

Condo is spacious, well equipped and super clean.
Very comfortable beds.
It’s a quiet area with a short walking distance to a lovely secluded beach. There is even a secret waterfall there! The condo provided beach umbrella, beach chairs, snorkels, surfboards which was great for us.
If you are looking for nightlife, that’s the wrong place.

We got there late in the afternoon meet two nice ladies in the driveway when we arrived and visited for awhile. They were the housekeepers and had just cleaned upstairs unit. They left and then we went into unit and found the place a total mess. The counters were covered with dirty pots and pans, the sink was full of dirty dishes,the bedrooms had sheets and blankets all over the floor and dirty towels all over the bathroom floors, The place was a total disaster can’t believe that someone would leave a place looking like that. Called Albert right away and said there was some missed communication with the housekeepers and got a whole of them and they came back right away. I told them since it was getting late and they were on their way home to just take care of the beds and bathrooms and worry about the kitchen tomorrow .They insisted on cleaning the whole house it took two hours just to clean the kitchen. They did a super job and you could tell they were exhausted when they got done. Albert you should be proud of them and lucky to have good help. After that the stay was wonderful. Thanks

Albert was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, making our holiday stay in Kauai one of the best travel experiences we have had. The location is beautiful and coffee every morning on the patio overlooking Anini Beach was the perfect way to start each day. The condo had everything we needed and then some. Wow! What a beautiful condo. Situated on the northern part of the island overlooking the ocean. This condo is convenient to beaches, restaurants, and a grocery store. The owner has supplied snorkel equipment, beach chairs and beach towels. The only negative I could give is the walls are very thin. We heard the guest upstairs walking and their child crying. We had read previous reviews and had taken earplugs for our lighter sleepers. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and all types of kitchen utensils. We also used the grill twice and it was clean and had propane. The patio is a little small but still large enough to have a drink and do some star gazing at night. Location is awesome. End unit, 20’ from the bluff at the edge of the development gives you a beautiful ocean view and access to a short trail down to a private beach. Only drawback is the upstairs neighbors can be loud if they are heavy footed.

A beautiful, incredibly clean, incredibly well stocked condo just minutes from everything and with a stunning ocean view. Albert was very responsive and it is clear that he cares about their guests having a good experience. The "only" thing that prevents me from giving 5 stars all the way around is that the ceilings are thin and you can hear the upstairs neighbors stomping around at all hours. When I complained, Albert immediately had the upstairs owner call those guests and the noise stopped for a day but then started again. The same thing happened with the following upstairs guests and it was bothersome. Also, the unit to one side has an adjoining patio, so there isn't the absolute privacy that we would have liked, but such is the way sometimes with private rentals. Lastly, the garage is shared with one of the other units, and although it wasn't a problem for us, it could have been if the other guests wanted to use some of the beach supplies. Otherwise, it really was perfect.

It was the perfect place. View was amazing! The fact that they had equipment to use was a huge plus for us. You need beach stuff but you don't want to buy it cause you can't bring it back with you. So having that option was amazing. Kitchen well stocked with supplies for cooking. My husband was upset he didn't think to use the espresso maker sooner, because it was awesome he said. We had one minor issue and it was handled in a professional manner. We would most definitely consider booking this place again.

Albert was the best owner I have ever worked with. The extra amenities at the rental such as the beach gear (surf boards, boogie board, beach chairs and wagon) made our stay much easier. The entire family loved kicking off our morning using the espresso maker. The view from the living room and patio was breathtaking. Our first trip to Kauai with our children is one we will never forget thanks to the great condo and amenities. The location is fantastic and everyone fell in love with Hanalei just a short drive away. On one of our last days in town we discovered the fish market behind the Dolphin restaurant that has fresh sushi. Grab some take-out chowder from here. Thanks to Albert for the wonderful stay!

Wow, this place was even nicer than the photos. I echo all of the other reviews here, which gave me high expectations that were actually exceeded, from the welcome bottle of wine and snacks to the stunning view and outstanding communication from the very helpful host/owner. Our two weeks on Kauai at Orchid Point were blissful. We have been to every island and have stayed at many different locations but Orchid Point topped all the others.
From start to finish, the owners were amazing. Excellent communication, direction, ease of entry, everything as promised, amazing!
The home itself was spacious, equipped and so comfortable. We were not lacking anything necessary for an island vacation.
And the view - stunning. The sights and sounds of the ocean were amazing. A daily reminder of why we continue to frequent the beautiful island of Kauai.
I highly recommend this property. You will not want to leave!

We had an amazing experience staying at this rental; Everything was beautiful and clean, and the owners were very kind and helpful. The location felt very safe and was close to a lot of beaches, such as Tunnels Beach, Hideaway Beach, and Anini Beach. Hanalei is also very close. The surrounding neighborhood was like a garden with views of mountains and waterfalls. Best place we've ever stayed at!

This place was awesome! Private, had a wonderful view, and was extremely well appointed, which we really appreciated. Every need was met, and having various items in the kitchen (such as salt) was also really nice. Would 100% stay here again!
