We renjoyed our stay. The location was convenient to many activities. But the best selling point was the view!! Straight on full ocean front. We saw many, many whales during our ten days. Nearby sugar beach invites long, leisurely morning walks.the kitchen is well equipped and plenty of books and puzzles for after the sun goes down. We particularly appreciative of the traditional hawaiian decor. Would definitely book again. Host was very responsove to our questions.

The location of and views from this property are amazing!! The complex is ok and the grounds are well kept. The condo itself is a bit outdated and could use an overhaul and DEEP cleaning. We noticed quite of bit of dust build-up on the brick walls, the living room furniture is a bit old and uncomfortable. A new washing machine needs to be added as the current one is rusted along the rim and if not careful will cut you. There is no a/c, which is usuallly not an issue on Maui, but it was unusually hot during our stay. There are several fans throughout and we also went to Costco and purchased an additional fan. We noticed many of the other units in the complex have added A/C, recommend the owners do this as well. We did have an issue with the microwave not working, which was resolved (by replacement) VERY quickly. Again, the location and views were PERFECT, working with Marlene was also great! I would return if updates are done and DEEP cleaning is done regularly!

Our party of 4 really enjoyed our time in this condo…it was dated but it did not detract from our time in it.
The location and waterfront view was stunning and we enjoyed each morning catching sight of the numerous turtles that were out front. The beds were very comfortable and the size of the condo suited us very well. Constructive suggestions would be that the Kitchen cabinets need a little TLC and maybe update the VRBO condo pictures. All in all, we had a great time in this condo!

Marlene is a fantastic host. Prompt communications and very responsive to any questions I had. The condo was clean and met all of our needs. Plenty of beach towels, all the kitchen gadgets you might need, comfortable beds and the perfect location for this area. Plenty of fans in the unit which, along with open windows and the Maui trade winds, allowed for a very comfortable stay without the need for air conditioning. The condo grounds and facilities are regularly maintained and consistently look amazing. Last but not least, all the incredible views that this condo affords. Unobstructed true oceanfront location. Great views of Kihei, Haleakala, surfers, marine traffic, large numbers of turtles and awesome sunrises every morning.

We were there on family concerns so the location was ideal for us. We very much enjoyed the beach just a short walk from condo, very quiet and relaxing. We needed some quite time and the area the condo is in was perfect for that. Hope to return again.

It was a nice touch having the owner call prior to our arrival. Easy to find and no problems with check in. Our girls called the decor vintage while my husband called it nostalgic! We had a wonderful 7 day in Maui, and this property helped make it even better. The location is perfect, centrally located on the island in Maalaea. Watching turtles swimming right below us, while sitting on the lanai, was amazing. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beach front condo. The view from the lani was spectacular it is a great spot to have morning coffee and watch the whales jump up in the distance and the turtles float by. A nice beach is just a short walk down the road. it was the perfect place for us to stay for our three week stay on Maui.This place is very confortable an you feel right at home. There is no AC but lots of fans and if you open the doors the wind will keep it comfortable during the day. Marlene(the owner) is a wonderfull lady to talk to and helpfull. We miss it already and would very much like to come back for another stay.

The condo was spacious and had a most amazing view. The kitchen was well equipped. There were even unopened food items left by other vacationers and things like salt, saran wrap, etc. We were comfortable here. Clean EXCEPT the raised surface walls were extremely dusty (brown instead of white in many places). The master bedroom window and screen was caked with dirt as well as all the fans. The carpet had some nasty stains in it in the living room area. The master ensuite shower really needs attention too.. It is evident that no upgrades have been made in many years. I recommend that deep cleaning be done here to the aforementioned. The location and view were amazing. The grounds and pool were nice.

Quiet and tucked away! We were mid way to anything in any direction! It was HOT at night without A/C, however, so that is something to consider! I would stay here again in a heartbeat though because of the location and view! The owner was a sweetheart...we had some issues of no fault of hers and she was quick to help!

We had a great and relaxing time. I loved opening up the slider and the window's and listening to the waves.

We had a very enjoyable 9 day stay at this property! The location is perfectly located to be able to efficiently drive to all other parts of the island without it feeling like a hassle. The overall area is very quiet throughout the day which made for many hours of just enjoying the peace and quiet of our surroundings. Unit was clean and fit our needs just right. The best part is by far the view, we were able to clock many hours of whale watching from the lanai which was just the cherry on top! Will definitely be keeping this location in our reserve for future visits! Mahalo :)

Enjoyed our vacation in Maalaea very much. Great location for exploring the island; it's near everything. Yet tucked away so it's very restful at the condo. The onsite pool is heaven, and the lanai was so wonderful, looking out over the bay. Condo was very comfortable. Kitchen will stocked & the grills near the pool were great! Nothing fancy but felt like you're visiting friends or family. We hope to return!

We had an awesome stay at this property. Everything was exactly as advertised and more. This is a great Ocean Front property and during January, February and into March is a great place to watch the Humpback whales that are in the ocean. Everyday we enjoyed the antics of the Mama's teaching and interacting with their babies.
Located at Maalaea, we were close to Kahului, Lahaina and Kihea, all fun places to visit or shop.
We enjoyed our stay of 2 weeks and wish we could have stayed longer

This stay was absolutely amazing. A wonderful spot with great view on the sea with whales jumping put of the water just in front of us. We loved our stay! The unit was clean and comfortable, with plenty of amenities to make us feel at home. We loved the views from the lanai and morning coffee watching the sunrise was a joy every day. The complex was well maintained and the manager was super friendly.
Marlene provided plenty of info prior to check in, and the process was a breeze. Super friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back again in 2023.

This was a nice property right on the water and central to everything we wanted to do on the island. The beach at the condo was blocked off so no access except down the street at a park but the lanai view was gorgeous! Kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we needed. If I were to recommend anything it would be a few folding beach chairs, but the towels worked fine this time. The beds were very comfortable with soft bamboo sheets. Check in and out was easy and seamless. Had a very good time and would highly recommend this property.

This location was AMAZING! Only 20 minutes from the Kahului airport, 15 minutes from Keihei and 20 from Lahaina, so very centrally located! Maalea sits close to a harbor along a beautiful soft, sandy beach and this condo looks out over a reef where turtles like to swim and play - we saw them everyday! We took a snorkel tour at Molokini through the Magic Maui Tours which left from that same harbor and it wasn’t very far from our Road to Hana tour pick up location. The beach area by the condo was very pleasant and the currant was much calmer than other areas on the island. Marlene (the owner who we spoke to a few times), was so very wonderful to work with! The check-in process was very easy and she was very willing to let us extend our checkout time on the last day since no one had it booked for later that day, however because the request was last minute on our part, it created some confusion for the cleaning crew. A reminder, this condo has NO A/C; each room has a ceiling fan & 2 other standing/desk fans and the screen door (both front and back) can be opened to create a cross breeze. It’s hard to escape the humidity, but this place is well equipped. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and washer/dryer amenities. We also enjoyed having 2 showers so we could rinse off faster. We had a great time & would definitely stay here again!!!

Amazing property with unbelievable views, snorkeling and boogie boarding just outside your door. Everything we needed was there and Marlene gave us all the info we needed for an easy transition to our vacay. Bedrooms large and clean and kitchen well stocked. We made use of the grills for our freshly caught fish. Best meal of the trip! Will definitely be back!

Very clean property, in the middle of the island which makes it accessible to all parts of Maui. The elevator close to us was out of order so we had a bit of a trek up the 4 flights of stairs (also found the other elevator later on) but it was ultimately the best spot for us to stay in.

We enjoyed a week long vacation here. The views of ocean from the balcony are breathtaking. The beach near the complex is sandy and we enjoyed walk on the beach every day.
The location is very convenient, from airport, Costco, and highways to go to Hana/ Haleakala/ other beaches.
Marlene called me prior to the travel, it definitely conveyed the message that she cares. She also emailed us welcome details and list of important numbers if we needed any help. We didn't need to call anyone. There were enough towels, beach towels and supply of laundry and dishwasher soap.
The Condo, pool and building complex were clean and well maintained.

This condo is so close to ocean, I had much better vacation because of it. You could fully enjoy morning and evening on the balcony. Due to the adjacent natural reserve and public beach, you could walk the miles of beach or swim as you please. No air conditioning was not a problem at all. Trade wind worked well. This place made me want to come back in the winter to see the whales.
