Everything was as advertised. Beach chairs were perfect. Spent a lot of time at Anini Beach (best snorkeling). Someone needs to tell maintenance to ease up on the chlorine in the hot tub. Walk to Lava Lava for sunset drinks.

The property is conveniently located to access either the North shore or South shore beaches and shops. The property is well maintained and clean...the office staff and grounds staff are very friendly.The unit was clean, however the carpet in the living room has several large stains and the kitchen stove works but needs updating. The hallways in the building were very noisy w/ people coming and going slamming doors and kids running up and down the halls being noisy. The road outside the unit is quiet at times but can be a bit noisy at other times.

We just arrived from our vacation. We were happy to found this 1 BDR apartment on second floor with decent rental fee. Located close to all amenities and stores, short stroll to the beach you can actually see from the window and balcony. 2 TV handy when each of you want to watch a different show. In the storage you find enough linens and supplies for your stay. As well good leisure equipment for any activity in the water or beach including just brand new beach chairs with umbrella. Nice and quiet, being on second floor. We are frequent travelers to all Hawaiian island and when back to Kauai - definitely will rent again the same condo. Ma halo

This place was exactly what we needed! Super close to grocery stores and shops in Kapaa and not too far to the North shore. Clean and well-stocked with a lovely view of the ocean. We had a wonderful time here and highly recommend it!

The condo has everything we needed for our stay,the rooms are clean the bedroom has two beds A+ for us .
The receptionists are very nice and helpful .
The owner is easy to deal with.
It was a nice stay at Bruce’s condo in Kapaa Kaui.

The condo had a funky smell upon arrival. That disappeared after a couple of days. Rug in living room had stains. Doors for the hallway cupboards where difficult to keep closed. Closet in the bedroom was difficult to open and close. Kitchen was slightly updated but had no usable cookware. Not many glasses or utensils, either. Refrigerator was clean and nice on the inside but rusted on the outside bottom. We have owned oceanfront rental property. I know what people expected of our condo. This wasn’t it.

I would highly recommend utilizing Bruce's place. If you plan on wanting to see as much of the island as possible this is the place for you. My husband and I had never been to Kauai before so having a place so centrally located made it really easy to see all sides. The staff and people in the general area were very knowledgeable and friendly :) and with a short walk to the beach I mean... it doesn't get better than that.
I'm sure we'll be back!

We had a great stay in the Plantation Hale resort. Our room was nice with some lovely updates. Location was perfect for our daily outings. The owner was very helpful whenever I had a question or concern. Some small issues: The pull out mattress was unusable as it sunk in the middle and made it impossible to sleep on. We were missing pillows and the bottom sheet for the pull out bed. And the only additional blanket for the pull out bed was a down comforter which is pretty heavy for Hawaii in April. There was also a very VERY strong odor of a cleaning or aromatic spray upon entering the unit for the first time...we think the cleaning service maybe went a little overboard with their sprays. We had to air out the unit for a couple of hours before it finally dissipated. We made it work though and had a great time!!!
