Excellent location. I would definately stay again. Host was very communicative. The only suggestion would be to add location of trash containers to the written instructions for the renters. We found it. Stay was amazing!

We had a fantastic experience staying in D407 at the Waipouli Beach Resort! The cleanliness was impeccable, and the host's communication was top-notch. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, and the location couldn't have been better. I highly recommend Milo and his property for your next stay on Kauai.

Our condo was just as promised, clean, roomy, and with great fully stocked kitchen area. Property was immaculate and the pool area is beautiful. Milo was attentive to my emails, and all inquiries. Unit is across the street from a Safeway and small strip center. I highly recommend this unit.

This condo was amazing! Great location and views of the mountains, right across the street from Safeway. The condo has a full kitchen and has lots of kitchen items. We did have to buy the basics like cooking oil, foil/Saran Wrap for saving leftovers. There was salt and pepper and minimal spices. Lots of towels and super clean!!!!
The boogie boards, beach chairs and ice chest was excellent. We used the cooler every day to take with us to explore the island. Milo was excellent to communicate with and was very helpful and texted back right away. Excellent host! We were very happy with this condo and the resort. Would definitely stay again!!!

Milo the owner was so great from start to finish! The condo was just perfect for our family and the location was ideal as we like to go either north or south depending on the day and stores we needed were right across the street. Beautiful and well designed condo with gorgeous mountain views and amazing pool area. Well appointed with beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, etc for exploring the island and close to shops, restaurants, etc. We loved the pool area as it offered something to do even if the weather was wild (still hit the sandy bottom hot tubs in the rain and used the gym). Slept well in the beds. Nice vaulted ceiling in the living room due to top floor. Milo was great to work with and let us check in early on arrival day. Would definitely recommend.

Milo and Theresa were very communicative and their directions made getting into the room and navigating the resort a breeze. When there was a minor AC issue, they were able to get someone to come in and get it fixed within only a couple hours of letting them know.
The room is very spacious and allows plenty of area to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need to cook if desired. Lanais offer beautiful views of the mountains, especially at sunset. The location on the east side of the island was convenient for traveling to the North and South parts of the island. The beach on the resort isn't the best, and I didn't see many people on it, so if having a nice beach is important to you, would recommend elsewhere on the island. It wasn't a problem for us though, especially since it doesn't take long at all to travel around the island.

My family enjoyed our stay. The rental have an amazing pool with two water slides, a waterfall and cave feature, and a shallow sandy beach section for kids. Clean pool towels are provided dialy and there is a restaurant in the pool area with limited hours. There is also a grocery store across the street and amazing shave ice. The beach at this location was not ideal for kids during the summer, the waves were too big, but that may be different during other times of the year (we stayed during summer). The rental had a nice kitchen and having a room with two beds was ideal. We also borrowed the rooms beach chairs and boogie boards which came in handy. I would recommend this location for the amazing pool and large apartment.

Milo and Theresa have a beautiful condo and not one detail was left out. The condo is in a great location to hit all the fun island spots . The pool was fun and everyone was so nice. The kitchen and condo are well equipped. We could not have found a better place to stay. The place was spotless on arrival. Milo was great at communicating any information we needed and even patiently resent emails I missed! Everything was labeled in the condo as to how to use it (remote controls etc) and they had a very helpful notebook of useful information. It was like staying with a friend that is local. We even had a post card waiting for us when we arrived home thanking us for our stay. They were the best VRBO hosts. I would definitely stay again!

The kitchen was very nice for cooking, and had a nice pantry area to store our food items. The curtains in the bedrooms are great, they block out all light and this helped my kids to sleep in later. The condo is located on a busy road, as he explains in the listing, so you can hear a bit of road noise in the bedrooms when you are trying to sleep (even with the door closed) but it is pretty faint, you will only notice it if you are sensitive and a light sleeper. I got used to it after the first night, so it wasn't a problem and I would definitely stay there again.

Entire experience was exceptional. Easy check in, unit as described. Perfect location-central to be able to experience entire island. Management was extremely helpful and responsive. Absolutely a top notch rental. Only negative was road noise, but would not keep me from renting again.

This condo was super clean and beautiful. My family members had other condos that were not nearly as well stocked as this one! The check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The owner/host was easy to keep in contact with and provided a wonderful place to stay! The beds and pillows were comfortable! Definitely recommend this amazing condo! 10/10!!

This condo was a perfect home base to explore Kauai, to rest after our outings (hiking, surfing, golfing, jumping off things into water) all around the island, and to plan the next day's adventure. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and extremely well-appointed. Loved being able to walk across the street to Safeway, Starbucks, the ABC store, and Wailua Shave Ice, which the kids are addicted to. The kids loved using the provided boogie boards at Kealia beach just up the road, which is our new favorite beach. You can walk, bike, or drive to dozens of solid places to eat, including Kapa'a's bustling food truck scene. We loved rejuvenating in the sand bottom hot tubs and the end of a tiring day. The owner, Milo, was extremely communicative, helpful, and friendly. I could go on and on, but it was overall a great experience and one of my favorite rentals ever! Highly recommend Waipouli Beach Resort and this condo in particular!

The rental is wonderfully located, the pool is perfect, and it's a 5 minute walk to the beach. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again. I highly recommend this property.

The entire process was a breeze! From booking, to checking in, our stay, and checking out. Milo was in communication through the whole process and made it as easy as can be. We’ve stayed at Waipouli multiple times over the years…we agreed this was our favorite unit. It’s wonderful being on the top floor and in the front building. Super fast access to shopping across the street, the pool, the gym and the spa. And we loved the decor. The layout is great for a group trip and the pool is gorgeous. We also give high marks to the oasis restaurant and spa by the sea. One note: the pull out couch is, like most pull outs, a bed of last resort. Finally, the unit owners were really responsive and with a nice personal touch. We look forward to staying here again.
