My family stayed here mid December, condo was very clean and check in process was easy. My kids absolutely loved the pool! We enjoyed the central location, close to many restaurants, food trucks, with a Safeway across the street. Would definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to Kapaa.

We did struggle using the stove top. It didn't work well. It would continuously beep or turn off. We had to use the oven and we ate out a lot. Great views, beautiful grounds, pool, etc.

It's was two in one experience of a resort and a private property. Well maintained outdoor emenities, excellent pool for adults and kids, food, shopping and ocean. Nicest beaches nearby. Recommend lydegate beach for snorkeling beginners. It is in center of island.

Conveniently located—groceries, restaurants, Coconut Plantation Marketplace, and whatever you want to do/see both north and south on the island!! Perfect! We hope to be back!!!

The room was fantastic, outfit with the right amenities. The view of the pool and ocean were great as well. There was a seal sleeping in the beach most of our visit. On the last day, a turtle pull itself up onto the beach and laid eggs. Both were right by the resort.

Since this was my first time staying at a VRBO type property of any kind, I was a little skeptical. However, the property and the room were as advertised. I did miss some of the hotel amenities but not enough to deter me from doing this again. We stayed in room C404 and the view overlooking the pool with beach in the background was awesome. The property manager was quick to respond my basic questions via email prior to arrival and everything worked seamlessly upon arrival. Highly recommend the app they have you download (not the VRBO app but the hospitality app) it lets you everything you need to while there. One warning the resort charges a resort fee above and beyond the fee for your room for services like a massage or eating at the restaurant on the beach so be prepared for that up charge.

This was our families eighth trip to Kauai. We have stayed in this unit once before and we really enjoy it. Kauai calls is a great management company and we will definitely go through them on our next trip to Kauai. We have stayed at Waipouli Beach resort six times. Our family has grown and we can’t book through the outrigger because they only allow up to six people per condo. This place is a great option if you want to explore all parts of the island.

What a lovely resort to stay at - the condo was very clean and well appointed and the resort was beautiful. Kids loved the water slide and it is right next to the beach. Safeway is right across the street for easy grocery shopping. 10/10 recommend!!!

Waipouli was a beautiful resort and our unit was wonderful. Very clean and all the amenities you would need. Only complaint would be the restaurant/bar of the resort was not open very much of the stay and very pricey. We would definitely stay here again and had the best time in Kaua’i!

Location was great. Walking distant to grocery stores and shops right across the street. A mile away, there’s a little town with plenty of restaurants, shops and a ABC store. There’s also a vacuum (coin-$2.00/15 mins) station around there for all the Turo rentals. Our only complaints; water heater wasn’t the best. There’s two master bathrooms but you’re not able to use both showers at the same time, theres always a lucky one who gets cold water. The glass top to the living room coffee table didn’t have the rubber stoppers which made it super slippery, had to put it away before the adults or our kids accidentally knocks it off the table and have glass everywhere and get charged for it.. and lastly the refrigerator doors that we had to always wrestle with just to get it open. There’s a sticker on the freezer side that says it takes 2-3 mins for the pressure to release after closing.. that’s not the case, we waited over 10 mins and figure it was defected . You have to run your finger down the seal to release and open, every single time.. The unit had enough space for four adults and four kids ranging from 4-10. The sofa bed in the living room helped make it possible. Unit also provided four beach chairs, two bodyboards and one small cooler. Would definitely recommend this place for family with kids. All of our kids loved the pool area, highlight of their trip!

The property was perfect for our family (2 teen boys). It’s walking distance to the grocery store, several restaurants and shops. It’s centrally located to the north and south shore and only a few miles to our favorite beach - Kealia beach. We used the beach chairs and boogie boards provided. The property was spacious and had a fully stocked kitchen. The pool and hot tub were great and the beach was calm and quiet. Would definitely recommend this property to families!

A very well laid out unit with some ocean view but mostly a great view of the garden and lazy river. This is a yearly family vacation for us and we've stayed at this resort most of the time. It's a great resort, centrally located with something for everyone. The unit itself is the best one that we've stayed in at this resort. The beach area in front of the resort is not swimming friendly but beautiful and relaxing. I would rent this unit again. Great vacation.

The property is a lot of fun for the grandkids. The grounds are maintained very well, the unit was clean and spacious for the 6 of us. Kauai Calls was very responsive to our request for a pack and play and high chair for the little one. We had trouble with the lock on the door and someone came immediately to fix it. We all highly recommend the burger at the restaurant on site! The beach is a bit rocky so the littles didn't really like it, but Lydgate Beach Park is close by so that is where we went. You can walk across the street to the Safeway very easily so that was also a plus.

I would totally recommend this property for your visit to Kauai! The apartment was nicely furnished, very clean and was very welcoming- especially after a long day of traveling. The kitchen was well furnished with utensils, and the beach gear in the closet was appreciated. Our family had a great time!

Bull Shed. At there twice this stay. Great food.

Our Waipouli condo was amazing. Close to all the shops, beaches and a water slide in pool for the kids! The only drawback was the strict use of the pool with the wristbands but other than that it was great. Will definitely come back again!

Fractionally owned time shares with a very disconnected staff.
Guaranteed SCREAMING BRATS from 10am until 10pm at night. The female bartender at the beachfront restaurant provided very poor service. She ignored us the whole time!
The GRILLS DID NOT WORK. Everyone seemed to have issues with them taking almost an hour to grill a hamburger???
It really ruined our Kauai Experience. The units were very nice though.

We are so fortunate to have found this wonderful condo in the heart of Kauai. It is close to everything, the pools were magnificent, the beach close by along with shopping and food! Only thing we had an issues with was the strictness of the pool rules. We had to get a wristband everyday and were only allowed 1 towel every 24 hrs. The writsband kept falling off and felt we were constantly being watched so we felt a little uncomfortable on that aspect. The condo however was amazing and can't beat the location.

Wonderfully furnished unit with an amazing view of the pool. The onsite restaurant and shopping across the street makes this property even more convenient. My kids loved the pool and slide as well. Perfect condo for a family to enjoy with plenty of space. We would definitely return. Aloha!

With a fabulous location and resort amenities, we enjoyed an amazing stay at Candace's place for a friend's wedding that was also held at @ Waipouli Beach Resort. Candace was wonderful to deal with, answered all our questions ensuring that check-in and check-out was a breeze, and the apartment was perfectly appointed for our stay, a real home away from home! And the beds were so amazingly comfortable! So spacious and well appointed, everything we needed was already there in our 2 bedroom apartment. We had very easy access to Safeway across the road and some surprisingly nice bars / restaurants were located there also. We did not have to far at any stage of our vacation to enjoy good company and fine food! The island is so peaceful and very easy to get around, highlights were our scenic helicopter ride and a few trips up to Hanalei Bay near Princeville, all a very easy drive from the apartment (the location is excellent!). I would thoroughly recommend staying here and have no hesitation to book again for our next trip to Kauai. If you can tear yourself away from the comfy bed for an early morning stroll, then the sunrises are spectacular and well worth it, and as the sun dips down, make sure you enjoy a cocktail or two at the resort's beachfront bar.. amazing!! Thanks for a great stay Candace!!
