Great condo and stay at this Kaanapali property. Condo was exactly as advertised, and communications with property manager was great. Mountain view (as shown) with great balcony with sun from 0800-1500 and nicely sheltered from wind. Would definitely return!

Resort is beautiful and the room/condo was nice. Appliances and furnishings were very nice. Never experienced nana walls before and really liked how big they make the room feel! Were afraid of the screens after multiple warnings about ease of damage so we did not use them.
Parking for the building gets very difficult after 7pm. Valet personnel were not always available. Not their fault - it gets a little crazy workload for them!
Towels for pool and beach come from a vending type machine with radio trackers and a loss fee. Some machines get turned off overnight and are generally require patience.
The elevator in our wing apparently has been out of service for a long time. The main elevator bank had one of the 2 broken for a day during our stay.
There are 6 BBQ's near the lazy river. They are kept very clean and seem high end but 2 would not light and 1 would not heat up. Called the help number and they responded quickly.

This unit was perfect for our family of 5 with three littles (3, 5, and 7). Check-in was really smooth and easy. Fereshteh was great to work with and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. The unit had some beach toys for the kids to use. Would definitely go back!

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. It was very clean and had a massive bathroom. We appreciated the pool floaties and lawn chairs. The view of the mountains was very pretty. No complaints except I wish there was a better broom or that it had a cordless vacuum that we could have cleaned up a little easier.

What the west coast of Maui lacks in local character it makes up for in convenience , views and accommodations. This unite was spotless, comfortable, in a full service complex that was in excellent condition and was loaded with amenities. Small beach, lots of whales spotted in January and many great restaurants nearby.

We had a great stay here. We really enjoyed the fact that there were chairs, boogie boards, some inflatables and sand toys for use inside! The second bedroom was great for our kids. They are 3 and 7 and shared the bed. We love cooking our meals, and the kitchen was pretty well appointed for how little cabinet space there is. Measuring bowls and measuring cups were the things we wished we had. We love to mostly cook for ourselves, so this may not matter to others. Communication from rental was really good. We would recommend and return!

My husband and I stayed in 612 with our 20m old daughter. The room is absolutely perfect if you have small children. There is a pack and play, high chair, beach toys etc. The den has barn doors so acts as a 2nd bedroom. The den does not have a window which actually helped for afternoon naps. Highly recommended!

A beautiful property. Condo clean and owner very nice, organized and helpful. Loved that they provided boogie boards, beach towels, and chairs for our use! Location had the best weather compared to other areas during our stay, but we were a ways from any adventure we were seeking. Lots of young children. A bit disappointed with the restaurant on premises and there wasnt much sand beach area. A nice long stretch, but water comes very high and pretty rocky for the kids boogie boarding...

I loved everything about this condo. I have stayed at Honua Kai before and I honestly preferred this condo the best. I loved that it was on the 6th floor and facing Puu Kukui. We had three windy days and being on the lanai (balcony) we could not feel the wind at all. Meanwhile, across the way at the other tower you could see the wind blowing the people sitting on their lanai. I guess this lanai at this condo faces against the wind and is protected. But we found this condo clean and packed with everything. From paper towels, dishes, cooking utensils, boogie boards, portable coolers, and lawn chairs. My wife and I over packed. The room even had beach towels. The den is really a second room with a couch that folds out into a bed. And it was comfortable!! The couch in the living room also is a sofa bed. And believe it or not, I found that the snorkeling right there at the resort beach was just as good as Napili. Here is a tip. Go to the far south side of the property line. Then go another 50 feet and there is a sandy spot right there. Snorkel out about 30 feet and you will see lava rocks with coral. There are plenty of fish and from time to time a turtle will swim by. I saw two within one hour one day. So you have good snorkeling, fully stocked room, great sunsets, several pools and hot tubs, and Dukes Restaurant. We hardly left. I highly recommend Honua Kai Resort and this condo. Fereshteh and Kalea were great and respond fast. Even on the weekends. Thanks for the great service girls!!

It was nice to get out of the wet weather in Seattle. The location is close to town, there's a grocery store across the street, has an uncrowded beach and the pools are great for small kids. The unit was clean, had some great beach toys in the closet, the staff friendly and helpful and also had a nice gym with new equipment. I'd go back again, Eddie.

This is our third time staying at Honua Kai and our first time with our new 3 month old son who joined my wife, daughter and myself. We opted for this unit due to the den which made a perfect sleeping area for our 4 year old girl. This is a beautiful complex for families including a great pool for kids and a convenient restaurant (Dukes!). We love the proximity to Lahaina and as a cyclist I enjoy the rides north on the West Maui Loop.
We would defineatly recommend this location, unit, and owner as our expeience was great.

This condo is clean, comfortable, and prefect for a family with two or three kids. The beds are comfy and the condo has everything you need. The resort is our favourite on Maui. The pools are great and the location is so convenient. This condo has become our second home.

My wife and I stayed here with our 4 children. Property was perfect and convenient to everything. Had multiple pools that are all heated and one has a slide. Duke's restaurant is onsite and we even snorkeled with sea turtles in the ocean just steps from the resort. Highly recommend!

Fereshteh was easy to work with and very responsive. We booked last minute and everything went very smooth. The room is very nice, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the bathroom was huge, and to top it all off, there are beach chairs and coolers to use! This was our first trip to Maui and we can't wait to go back. If available, we would definitely book this unit again. Thank you!
