We were thrilled for our stay; we'd booked this condo nearby the rest of our party, just a short 1-minute walk from our event which we were in Hawaii to attend each day. Unfortunately, the first night in the property, our power went out. The rest of the condo complex all had power; we verified that fact with our neighbors. We were moved to another property a 10-minute drive away, which made it impossible to orchestrate our plans. Unfortunately, the property manager didn't return us back to the original condo until after the rest of our party returned to the mainland. It was very disappointing. Once we finally did return to the original condo, the internet wasn't working, and despite repeated outreach to the property manager, the internet never worked. Frustrated, we checked out of the condo a full day early, and checked into a hotel where at least there was working internet and air conditioning. The property manager said they'd give us a partial refund... which they flatly refused once we returned home. It was truly a disappointment. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. There are hundreds of other condos on the island; stay at one of those instead. PS: When asked why we were displaced for nearly a week, the property manager said a gecko took out the electricity in our unit. Pretty powerful gecko, right? ;)

This a nice condo in great area. Overall we had an excellent stay. Comm's with the property manager are outstanding. The condo itself is fine as we are mostly on the move anyways. It is very well equipped with chairs, umbrellas, etc. The kitchen has everything you need. The location overrides a few issues and we have no problem recommending it.
It's on the first floor and you will hear any work and people moving about upstairs, including cleaning. We were there last year... a few things still haven't been fixed... notably the exhaust fan over the stove. If you're not cooking a lot this isn't important. Furniture is adequate, but is old (probably original) and needs to be updated for the price point. We'd love to come back again... will be watching to see if any updates and fixes get corrected in the description.

The location of the property is excellent and the views from the unit of the ocean are stunning. Everything was exactly as it was portrayed on line, with the exception of the electric grill on the patio, that was covered with mold and would not heat enough to cook anything. We had planned on grilling and had shopped accordingly.
Although the setting is beautiful an serene, we had a family above our unit with 3 boys the entire time. Jumping up and down, yelling and screaming at times and playing hide and seek. The structure is not at all sound-proof. Keep in mind this is a ground floor unit. I tried knocking on the door of the unit above us and no one would answer it. I tried calling Plushy Host, who manages the property and was told they did not manage the property above me and that there was really nothing they could do. If you luck out and have good neighbors above you, it could be a memorable stay. If you are unlucky like we were, it could be as miserable as it was for us. We will never stay on a ground floor unit again.

The most delightful surprise for us was the view of Nāpali Coast from the backyard! Our typical day was to hike/tour/go to a beach then come home to our Vrbo and relax with hot tub time and a swim. Then we would head to the corner of the property with the chairs you provided and watch sunset. There’s a nice community feel at that time. If we were hungry and lazy we just went to the pizza place through the parking lot. Great location, well supplied, clean and comfortable! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

First, I wanna start off on a positive. It is a new bed and the sheets seem new. However, it was not clean there was red sauce in the dining area. The floors were dirty, area rug carpet is disgusting towels are all stained and wayyyy to much furniture that pics do not show, it’s very inexpensive fix. The kitchen is not upgraded the microwave and exhaust fan above the cooktop do not work so they put a small microwave on the counter. In addition, the condo above their unit was being remodeled and they did not disclose that to me. I reached out to them within two days of checking in as I would’ve never rented it. I spoke to the management firm of the complex and they informed me that the unit above theirs had to get a permit for noise 90 days before starting construction and send out Information about the construction to all units surrounding them. They were jackhammering floors and putting in new floors it was horrible.. I reached out to their management company and they said they will speak to the owners about a partial refund or to reschedule my time there I reached out to VRBO who reached out to the owners and I have not heard a word from the owners. Be aware it’s going to be noisy with a unit upstairs now having Hardwood Floors you can hear them walk and the flush the toilet , it sounds like a waterfall going down the wall and this place needs TLC. It’s too bad they don’t value their guests It seems that they’re just in it for the money. I’m not a negative person, but I do believe that we all go on vacation and spend a lot of money and would hope that the places that we are renting would respect that. I have pics and recordings that back up what I am writing.

Cold a/c which kept bedroom cool with door closed. Clean and comfortable, basic kitchen equipment. Has tall 6 pack size cooler w shoulder strap, beach chairs, etc.
Very quiet and relaxing area as entry doors are all opposite ocean side of resort with living room sliding glass doors opening to a wonderful lawn with tree covered cliffs overlooking ocean, magnificent views and sunsets! Gorgeous flowering shrubs & trees, enjoyed walking around the resort. Hawaiian geese and various birds frequented our lawn. The private paved path to Hideaways beach was superb!
Prompt communication from manager.
Overall an excellent resort for adults. I would not feel safe with unattended small children next to the cliffs. Mahalo!

Sadly our pool key did not work and the internet password did not work either.
A little frustrating.
Also we had to contact Brno as the keyless lock was not responsive for about 20 minutes.

Communications were top notch. Place was very clean when we checked in. Great assortment of beach equipment. Kitchen/dining room were good. The outside view is ground floor, and ocean view... somewhat limited... HOWEVER... you can pull a beach chair 40' from the patio and there's a great view of a hidden queens bath just below the cliff, with waves crashing as close you'd want to be. When the wind is blowing out of the N or NE... it's flows through the house.
At the time we rented... these folks had by far the best refund policies I've seen. We didn't need one, or want one.... but the fact they offered one less than a month to our stay was pretty big I think.

First visit to Kauai and enjoyed staying in Princeville, though we were very glad to have a car to use every day for trips east and west. The condo grounds have an awesome lawn overlooking ocean cliffs. The pool looked run down so we didn't spend any time there. As for this condo unit, we enjoyed our stay but noted the following items were either broken or unusable:
- kitchen lights (we had to use a lamp from the bedroom on the kitchen counter)
- stove vent (we had to take our baby outside when we cooked on the stove because the fumes just filled the main room)
- bedroom fan (this would have been nice to use, though the window ac unit did work)
- trash can lid pedal (the pedal to open the trashcan was missing so you have to step on a small metal rod, which is difficult/painful when barefoot)
- toilet plumbing noises (loud high-pitched noises when you flush - the flush works but could use a plumber's attention)
Plushy Host is fairly responsive but offers little help, so we didn't rely on them for much. Whomever responds to your messages never shares their name so there is no accountability. Their canned messages ask for you to share your arrival time so they can "do our very best to accommodate your particular travel needs" but their very best is to say "stick to the original check-in time of 4pm and we'll let you know if they finish early." Well, we arrived before 4pm and they were already finished cleaning, but we weren't messaged despite sending reminders that day.
We had a terrific vacation and didn't let any of these inconveniences bother us, so neither should you! I'd recommend staying here because it's a competitive rental market and you're not going for the host attention. Be sure to rent a car (try Turo) and explore west (Hanalei and beyond) and east (Anini, Kilaeua, etc.). We'll likely go back to Kauai sometime to see everything we didn't get to do in our amazing 5 days on the island.

Pale ke Kua is such a nice place, with Hideaways beach nearby, and the pool and pizza place on the property. This condo is well maintained, and there are beach chairs and snorkeling equipment provided. Highly recommended!

This particular condo was lovely, had Hawaiian type furniture and decor, very clean, great lanai for morning coffee, on a bluff overlooking Queen’s Bath, we were very comfortable.

We loved our stay in this condo! Booking and check-in were very easy. Management was easy to communicate with. The condo was clean, updated, and had all the essentials we needed and then some (fully stocked with kitchenware, towels, even snorkel gear). Beautiful views from the patio. We enjoyed walking the grounds of the community, using the pool, and exploring the beach (very steep trail though, but doable!). Short drive to Hanalei (check for road closures, a landslide in March led to the road being closed daily for work and only open to a single lane during certain hours) and Kilauea shops and restaurants. Many beaches within a short drive.
