My family and I had a great time staying a the Pu'uwai Hale rental in Princeville. Everything was clean, comfortable and as advertised or even better. The house was more than big enough to fit the five of us and offered places for us all to gather together or slip away and find some peaceful alone time. The only downside is its not very walkable to any stores or beaches nearby so if you have that expectation going in you'll be fine. I would highly recommend staying here.

The house is well maintained, well appointed and in a good location. The views are beautiful and it was a wonderful experience staying there with our three adult children and their spouses. Plenty of privacy for all with 4 bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. The open living, dining and kitchen area is spacious and nicely furnished. Better than any of the pictures on the website!

This home is one of our all time favorites! Beautiful, beautiful ocean views! We even spotted some whales off the coast! Really nice neighborhood. We loved seeing the baby Albatross and their momma and papas watching over them! The home was meticulously cleaned, well stocked, and extremely comfortable for our family of eight adults. Our weather wasn’t ideal but we did get to enjoy most excursions on our wish list.

Amazing property, the kitchen is fantastic. With a big group we cooked a lot and the kitchen was perfect. Brand new Weber grill outside. Beach chairs and towels were available to use as well. Wake up every morning to the sound of the ocean. I highly recommend this house.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family. Hands down the cleanest and most comfortable rental I’ve ever stayed in. Beds, pillows.. everything was wonderful. It felt like we stayed at a 5 star hotel.
It had everything we needed and more.
The sauna didn’t work for us which was a bummer but not a huge deal. The blinds in two rooms didn’t work which wasn’t ideal for our girls but we survived.
The neighborhood was very quiet and felt very safe. Tons of ocean views and ocean sounds. We can’t wait to be back.

This home was perfect for our family of 8 adults. Each had a private bedroom and en suite. The large great room and kitchen were perfect for gathering and the 4 meals we made or brought in during our 10 day stay. The location was perfect in Princeville. The outdoor space had views that took your breath away! We woke early every day for sunrise and were out there for sunset. Views of the ocean and mountains were perfect. The only suggestion is to provide more disposable items for such a long stay - we ran out of kitchen paper towel and toilet paper (we were told we needed to purchase more if we ran out - this should not be the case, never had that at any other VRBO we have stayed in). Also, mid-day gets hot and there is need to turn on the AC but it did the trick. Otherwise it was perfect!

We had an amazing visit to Pu'uwai Hale! The property was even better than the pictures with plenty of space for two families. The beds were comfortable, and we loved the wonderful kitchen and outside lanai. Easy access to grocery store and walking trails. The house was spotless and well-stocked. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend Na Pali Catamaran for a boat ride up the coast.

Pictures don't do this place justice and it's the cleanest rental I've ever booked! It is a stunning villa with jaw dropping views. The beds are super comfortable and kitchen has everything. You will spend at least a day of your vacation enjoying the villa and views.Angela was a great help. We arrived late night and couldn't get in with the code. She was patient with us then realized we were at the wrong address. Thanks Angela for your patience.Only negative is stove did not work, but that did not hinder us. If I return to the island with a large group (7 of us this time) we will definitely rent this vila!!

The only issue was that the oven was broken (and we were not given advance notice) so we bought a lot of groceries and planned to cook in most nights, but then realized oven was broken and could not cook a lot of our meals as planned. Tough with 7 people to find reservations so late. They are still missing a part, so if you’re staying there soon, make sure you plan ahead as that was a bummer. We requested a credit and are waiting for confirmation that we will receive.

Did not want to leave. Great property and just a stunning location, incredible view of the mountains to the west and the ocean to the north. Lots of space, tremendous kitchen/common area, every bedroom had a bathroom. All the amenities.
Were there small issues? Sure. Always are, nothing is perfect. But this property came damn close. 4 bedrooms plus an optional bedroom if needed (our six year old slept there), if we return with a similar sized party will absolutely shoot for this place again.

Stunning location, beautiful house, fully stocked. We came with 3 other couples, we never needed anything additional since the house was fully stocked, and immaculately cleaned. Everything was only 5-10 minutes distance from us. The house even had coolers and beach gears to accommodate our stay. We could not have asked for a better home. I hope to come back and to this very home again. Grateful for the beautiful newly upgraded home, and letting us rent it for our vacation week.

My family and I spent the holidays on Kauai at this lovely house. The house was very much as advertised. Each of the bedrooms was spacious, well- appointed, and had its own bathroom. The living area has an excellent kitchen well stocked with needed equipment and supplies, quite important over the holidays as restaurants were closed or quite busy. The porch was just a delight with stunning views of both mountains and sea. The sauna was also a wonderful bonus feature. Finally the house was well maintained and immaculate. Overall definitely a five star experience.

We had an incredible experience in this house. We were traveling with a group of friends and the rooms were all private, spacious and with their own bathrooms. The main area of the house with the wraparound porch had stunning views and a great communal space to cook and enjoy. Would stay again!

We had eight total adults and young adults (our grown children and a few of their friends). The layout of the house was spacious and big enough to gather comfortable in living room with balcony overlooking the ocean while allowing for privacy in bedrooms. The house was equipped with multiple beach towels, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear and beach chairs. We donated our boogie board specific flippers which I would recommend bringing if you have kids who want to do such activity in the ocean. It was wonderful with such a large group to make breakfast in their amazing kitchen that had everything you could imagine. We made sandwiches for the beach in their provided cooler and went out to eat for dinners in Hannalei. We drove the hannalei bay, shipwrecked beach, anini beach, lumaha’i beach, hideaway beach, and kealia beach(kids favorite for boogie boarding.). We also hiked to queens bath, did a dinner cruise down the Napali coast and went scuba diving. Such a great trip and coming home to such a wonderful space made it feel like a home away from home. We wanted to stay much longer!
