From the OMG moment on opening of the front door to the last moment, this property was amazing. The views, the peace, the quiet and serenity was more than we could’ve hoped for. The house is perfectly set up with 2 master suites, one on each side of the house and a middle bedroom. 3 bathrooms and a large common area and kitchen. The large lanai was perfect for relaxing and just soaking in the ocean views. Breathtaking! Perfectly located near several beaches and a small store right across the road. This is definitely a property we’d love to come back to. Mahalo!

Amazing views! Loved staying at the northwest end of the island. Close to Hanalei and Princeville. Couple of items needed updating such as the toilet paper ring and ice maker was non functioning but don’t let this deter your decision to stay in this home. The amenities, design layout of the home, airy and breezy with the sliding glass doors open made this home like heaven!

Overall we loved our stay here. It was clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, the view is breathtaking, and communication with Victoria was great! She gave very detailed instructions and suggestions, which were helpful.
Our only criticism would be that the listing does not say that the beach/river behind the home is completely inaccessible. The view is beautiful, but you can't go near the water.
Lastly, I must mention the Wainiha Market across the street. It is full of warm, lovely people who made us feel at home immediately and added to the fun of staying here.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much!

The house was a great place to relax for week - well situated between Hanalei and the Napali Coast. We rarely had need to venture farther than Kīlauea. We really appreciated the list of recommended restaurants in town - The Dolphin was by far our favorite one! It was great to have the local market across the street. We also enjoyed the quick drive to Hanalei Colony for massages. If considering a visit - definitely book your time in Napali coast 30 days in advance, unfortunately the access is really controlled at this point and we were unfortunately not able to visit the park.

The home is beautiful and well kept. The owner is a delight and was easy to contact. The neighborhood is quite and you may even receive a visit from a neighborhood cat or dog. (Don't worry we did not feed them or let them into the house).
The local market across the street saw us on a daily basis. (Don't judge, we use a lot of ice). Very much a home town feel is felt when walking into Wainiha Country Market.
We had three couples staying in the house. It was so great to find a house that had three bathrooms. The only drawback is the middle room is a bit small and does not have a closet. While the other two rooms are master suites. We made it work but we had to rochambeau to see who ended up with the smaller room.
The beach is lovely but the house does not have access to it and despite what other people have said, it is not and easy walk to the beach. I walk everyday and was unable to walk by myself do to having to hug the highway in order to get to the beach. My husband did not like the idea of me going by myself. We remedy this by driving to a near by beach and making a day of it. Don't get me wrong the house is lovely and hey it's Hawaii. There is never a bad day in Hawaii.

Have visited Kaua’i several times, mostly staying in Poipu and Princeville. This property offered a very unique experience with spectacular views from both master bedrooms and living room as well as expansive lanai. Easy walks to beach and highly recommend renting bikes to visit Tunnels and Haena beaches. The house is fully equipped with well stocked kitchen and beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards). Victoria was very responsive and took care of minor issues quickly. being on north shore, don’t expect the best weather (there’s a reason it is a garden paradise) but this was not an issue as there was much to do regardless of weather.

I highly recommend this house. This is by far the best VRBO I have stayed in. It is on the North Shore of Hawaii, so plan to drive an hour to recreational activities. But there is still so much to do around the North Shore. Must go to Hanalei Bay and swim, the beach is amazing. The house is so comfortable and there is a general store right across the street. The ocean breeze through the house is fantastic. The locals are so nice and ask for spots to go, everyone is really helpful. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Stayed here for a great week. Easy access to Hanalei and all of the north shore beaches made it a very comfy base camp. The private lanai and back yard make it a peaceful oasis on the sea, while the store across the street was great for grabbing forgotten essentials. Would definitely recommend the property

The property is great. The view is fantastic. We loved having three full bedroom suites. We spent a lot of time sitting on the lanai, which was really nice. The ocean breeze if awsome.

Lovely upgraded house in a great location, very clean and super functional with 3 nice bedrooms each with its own full bathroom. Awesome, huge covered lanai with a fabulous view over the Wainiha river and beach, especially beautiful at sunrise. Note that you don’t have direct access to the river, so to get to the beach you have to walk on the road over 2 bridges and then down an access path, which takes ~15 minutes.
