I said it last time we stayed and I'll say it again--better than pictures. Home is fully stocked and a great location. The air conditioner did go out while staying there (was out 3 out of 7 nights) and still waiting on resolution as there should be some discount applied. No ones fault but it was very warm and hard for the guests to enjoy the house in the middle of the day. Otherwise, perfect.

We loved this house! The interior is beautiful with a lovely island vibe. The indoor/outdoor living is perfect for a vacation. Seeing the pool from almost every room in the house is so relaxing. The kitchen is totally stocked with a manner of cooking materials, the garage is full of pool and beach toys. The house has a great layout. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty as well as in a great location.

My family and I had a wonderful experience during our stay at this VRBO property. The check-in process was incredibly easy and hassle-free, setting the tone for a relaxing vacation.

My family and I (five in total) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hale Nalani. It was a fantastic location in Princeville, in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the Princeville Shopping Center (which we took advantage of on multiple occasions to attend the night market and grocery shop at Foodland) and merely a 10-minute drive away from the town of Hanalei. It was landscaped in such a smart and private way that we never saw the neighboring houses.The house was beautifully decorated with a “zen” type feel that encouraged relaxation. We made use of the pool upon our arrival home from exploring the island each day and it was such a wonderful way to unwind. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the kitchen on a daily basis and it was stocked with everything we needed and more (very high-quality tools)! Each room was impeccably clean and comfortable and we loved having access to the laundry room, which was just as gorgeous of a space as the rest of the house. We additionally appreciated the pool toys, beach chairs, etc.Our only feedback to make the stay even better than it already is would be to provide coffee (whether ground or K-cups), some blankets for the living area and at least one clock as we constantly found ourselves wondering what time it was and would have much preferred to not have to look at our devices. We will undoubtedly stay at Hale Nalani if/when we travel to Kauai again in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We chose this property because it is near our family who live in Princeville and because it has a pool. We could not have been more pleased. The property is lovely, spacious and well equipped. It was clean and comfortable. The property manager was easy to reach and checked in to see how our stay was going. She also brought over a traditional coffee maker for my husband. I would definitely recommend this property to families and small groups. We were able to sit on the beautiful lanai and visit as the youngsters enjoyed the pool! The house is within easy walking distance to the market and several shops and eateries.

We walked in and were pleasantly surprised at how big the home felt. Irs because of the design of the open lanai combined with the open floor plan between the kitchen and living room. We appreciated how clean the home is and the wood floors throughout the home. Being on the North Shore means it gets really dark once the sun sets, so it was nice to have games, a pool and a giant kitchen for occasional evenings at home. There is a ridiculous amount of storage, so it takes awhile to find things in the kitchen. There are some spices and a grocery store in walking distance. In that same center, we enjoyed Lapperts ice cream, Sandwich Isle, and Tiki Iniki. The furniture isn’t the most comfortable, but how much do you sit on a trip to Kauai?

I didn’t want to leave. Beautiful property in a desirable location close to shops and restaurants. The pool was great when we had a day stuck at the house due to rental car issues. Fully stocked kitchen if you enjoy making your own meals and a grocery store is nearby.

We loved this property. The house was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the very private pool and outdoor area. It rained a few times during our visit so it was nice having the covered patio. We used the patio dining area for all of our meals, rain or shine.
This house was the best stocked property we have rented. Beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel equipment, plenty of kitchen equipment and cooking essentials.
The open kitchen (open to the patio through folding sliders to the patio) with high end appliances made meal prep easy and enjoyable.
The property was walking distance to the Princeville shopping mall and community center where the farmers market was held on Saturday and Sunday. The Foodland grocery store at Princeville was better stocked and priced similar to the stores in Kapaa'a.

We had an amazing stay here at what was probably the nicest property we’ve ever stayed at or will stay at. Loved the Asian/Buddhist theme that added to the tranquility of the space, and it had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This is the place you want if you’re searching for a luxury group setting!
(Awesome) Pros:
- Incredible master bedroom and bathroom, complete with a stone-laid, floor-to-ceiling shower with multiple shower heads and jacuzzi tub
- Cool and comfortable temp inside with fans, a very welcome escape from the heat
- Complete kitchen with any cooking and grilling accessories you could think of
- Beach amenities galore, including umbrellas
- Comfy bed with pillows that weren’t too soft like many other places.
- Very close to Princeville shopping center (about a 10 min. walk)
(Minor) Cons:
- Jacuzzi tub jets on the back didn’t work (or at least we couldn’t figure them out despite many attempts), so we didn’t get the complete experience :/
- Couldn’t figure out how to enable streaming platforms on the TV, but less TV isn’t a bad thing :)
- Sooo many light switches in the house and cupboards in the kitchen that it took some trial and error learning locations, haha

Great location near Foodland in Princeville. Kitchen was well stocked. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and toys was a nice touch. The accordion door opening to the pool was awesome, so we can watch the kids play while we cooked dinner. Avocado and Mango trees in the backyard.

My husband and I came here with our 4 year old and 7 year old and had a super relaxing time. The house is fully stocked with anything that you need including beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler. Anini beach was perfect and we had our own private beach with the kids and the water was great for the littles. The pool itself was a great way to end the day. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

Our second time renting this beautiful house in Princeville. It’s perfect for our family of 6 plus our new grand baby. Short distance to Hanalei beach and restaurants, and a quick walk to the market and shops in Princeville. Golfing at Makai was spectacular. Enjoyed the pool in the afternoons. Will definitely be renting this home next time in Kauai.

Enjoyed a very pleasant stay in an unusual VRBO gem a Japanese style villa with three bedrooms spacious living area kitchen and outside pool. Centrally located in a neighborhood near the Princeville Makai golf Course. Very well equipped kitchen with two fridges and open doors to pool area. Quiet location with quick access to Hanalei and outdoor activities.

Lovely home and property ! Very secluded given its location which was primo! We loved the zen garden along the pool- the back yard has oranges and avocados which was perfect cause there was one ripe one on the ground that we needed for our dinner one night!!!! Gotta love when the Aina gives you that extra Aloha ;) the space was well decorated with open simple Zen style decor which is totally my jam! The couches were super comfy and the beds- the comforters were super hot which was the only manini issue so we stole a sheet from another bed so we could both be comfortable and not too hot but not to chilly while we slept! The beach towels- beach chairs were great plus to have and really nice quality! The kitchen I loved and how organized all the drawers were making it easy to find everything and cook meals - We Would recommend this place to anyone!

This house is very nice, very spacious and beautifully furnished with Asian inspired decor. In an excellent location within walking distance of the Princeville shopping center. The property management company was very helpful, communication was excellent and allowed us to check in early. Kitchen was well appointed. My only constructive criticisms were that the lighting in the home is very dark, even with all the lights on (the light bulbs are too warm / not bright enough.) Also, the outdoor grill grates were rusty / not usable. Probably time to replace those (or clean them better.) But those are minor gripes, honestly. I would recommend this home if you'd like a luxurious experience and a very open / unique layout in a great location.

Everything was effortless and the hosts were very responsive to questions. We loved opening the pocket doors and “being outside” during all the daylight hours, especially while cooking in the spacious, well equipped kitchen. Quick access to Hanalei and northern beaches. Any issues were quickly resolved which was amazing! Pool and lanai so nice we spent most of our time outside. Beds were all soooo comfortable which led to blissful nights sleep for all! Highly recommend this property for any trip to Kauai!

This house is very well appointed. It’s stocked with tommy bahama beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and boogie boards. The furnishings are all very nice as well-modern kitchen, nice outdoor seating options and comfortable beds. The location is ideal for exploring hanalei and princeville-you can easily walk to the playground for the Saturday farmers market and also over to the princeville center. Management was easy to work with and quick to reply. Would stay again!!
