Crystal and Jim were wonderful hosts. They were easy to communicate with and provided a lot of great information about the condo and things to do in the area. When we arrived the self check-in system was easy and seamless. The complex is in a great location and the condo exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The view is absolutely amazing from any where in the condo (living room, kitchen, bedroom, and the balcony). My husband and I sat on the balcony every morning and whale watched while enjoying our morning coffee. What a bonus!
Looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Maui!

This is where you want to stay! The condo is perfect for a Maui getaway! Views from this condo had us watching whales, dolphins, sea turtles and surfers. In a great location close to restaurants (dinners at the food trucks was great! We recommend the Thai truck!), grocery store across the street and the sandy beach was right outside. This place is a gem! We will definitely be back if in Maui again!!

The condo has everything you can possibly need for your stay. It is very clean and we will always pick this place when we come to Maui . The host is always available for any questions you have. The view from the condo is absolutely stunning. One morning we were sitting having coffee on the lanai and we got to see the most amazing Whale show. Listening to the sound of ocean waves from bed was a must and my expectations were exceeded. The pictures do not do it justice. My husband and I walked in, plunked ourselves down in those chairs at the window, and sat there for 2 hours talking and watching the sun go down. We didn’t even go get our luggage until after dark.
Their place is so comfortable, it truly felt like a home away from home. From the lanai we watched turtles, whales, rays and other fish. We would get our dinner to go,(Joeys kitchen is awesome) and always watch the sun set from there.

We have had to privilege of visiting Maui many times and have stayed at most the world-renowned resorts on Maui, but after our resent stay, we have determined this is our favorite “room”. You are so close to the ocean that you literally can stand in the living room or Lanai and look down on the ocean to observe the Sea Turtles. The furnishings are “comfortable” and not over the top with everything you will need for a terrific stay provided. Open one of the sliding glass doors and listen to the ocean. Dinner on the lanai is a beautiful and fantastic alternative to the resort restaurants (of which there are plenty to choose from within minutes of the condo).
The owners were responsive to questions regarding the area and any other questions I had in preparation for our trip.
We anticipate and look forward to staying here again.

I really enjoyed by stay at this condo. Being close to a fish market and store make it really nice. There are grills on site that are cleaned daily. It made it easy to grill up some fish for dinner. The place was quite and relaxing. I enjoyed meals at Dukes and walked down the Whalers Village. It was after the fires and everything was fine where this condo is located. Great place.

The unit is wonderful and is in a perfect location. You can walk to so many places. It was very clean and has everything you could want and more. Best stocked kitchen I've ever had at a rental with many appliances, spices, foil and even ziploc bags. There were beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler, and towels to spend hours on the beach which is just a few steps away. The king size bed was so comfortable - we got the best sleep.
The grounds were beautiful and well maintained and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi. Nice pool and bbq area too.
Great communication and super fast response from Crystal and Jim. They provided clear and easy instructions for check-in plus information on great places to eat, shop, and many activities to do around Maui.

Wow!!! What a beautiful unit. Warm, inviting, and all the comforts of home with spectacular huge windows overlooking the ocean.

Great location, great property, management was on top of details and very responsive.
Bathroom was adequate but small. Furniture & TV's could use a refresh. These are small items, overall you will lov3 this place. Cannot get closer to water, listening to waves at night was awesome!

"Exceptional" is the word that best describes the condo. First, the owners were gracious enough to grant us an early check-in since our arrival was well before the check-in time. There was a little speedbump with the code (due to the early check-in); however, Crystal was just a phone call away and readily available to help us. We were glad that she stayed on the phone with us to ensure the code worked and she was able to hear our reaction upon entering the breathtaking abode. The welcoming sounds of the ukulele from the radio was relaxing and the instant panoramic view was astounding! The place was spotless, well equipped with everything you would need, and methodically decorated. The little details made things so convenient and helpful. The binoculars to view the family of sea turtles, the power strip by the nightstand for my CPAP, and the charging station on the dresser are just a few examples of how well-thought out and equipped the place is. Special shout out to Faustina for having everything prepared and spotless early for our stay. Additionally, the location was perfect! Dining is just a walk or short ride away and of course, the beach and pool is right outside the door. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay, look no further! We will definitely stay here again! Thanks so much to the owners for everything!

From the moment we arrived, Mahana 717 felt like home away from home. Everything that you could possibly need has been thought of, and I mean everything. The kitchen is supplied with all of the basic necessities aside from your actual food (but there’s a grocery store right across the road, super convenient!)—every type of cookware, cooking/baking/grilling utensils, cutlery, plates, cups, mugs, and an ice maker in the fridge. The bed was super comfortable as was all of the living room furniture, and we slept so well every night listening to the waves. Paper products and cleaning supplies like trash bags are provided, and the bathroom is stocked with body care. Apart from being cozy and providing an immaculate, comfortable space, Jim and Crystal go above and beyond providing just the necessities—they have thought of providing small things like a first aid kit, plastic wrap/aluminum foil, writing utensils, along with anything you could need for the beach like snorkel gear, chairs, an umbrella, and several coolers. We were so grateful for the help yourself bin and the delicious chocolates that were waiting for us upon arrival.
My wife and I had a magical honeymoon, and we could not have chosen a better place to stay! Maui is heaven on earth, and we will surely be back to Mahana 717. Mahalo Crystal and Jim!

We simply cannot say enough good about this condo. It was beautiful, clean, comfortable, perfectly located, and had everything we could possibly want or need. It was so great that we spent a lot of our time relaxing in the condo rather than exploring the island ... it is just that great of a place. Aside from the wonderful accommodations, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the EXCELLENT and lightning fast communication with the owners.
We can't wait to go back, and we will NEVER stay anywhere else on Maui. It's just too perfect!!!

Aloha! We loved this Mahana condo! The ocean views are spectacular! This condo has beautiful furnishings with appliances that are top-of -the-line. The hosts are very attentive to every detail and easy to contact. They emailed us all the directions and details for the drive from the airport and an easy check-in. Lots of nice touches such as beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella.
The pool, grill area and grounds are lovely and well-attended. Mahana is an ideal location - walking distance to a few restaurants and a short drive to Lahaina or Kapalua.
When you come to the beautiful beaches of Maui, treat yourself to this lovely condo that has been given a lot of TLC.

Between the lull of the waves and the comfort of the bed, we had no trouble sleeping at night. The owners are easy to reach, kind, and incredibly helpful. While we didn't need anything during our stay, we did inadvertently leave a bag behind when we left to come back home. Crystal was quick to make calls to secure it until we could have a shipping service pick it up. We absolutely intend to seek availability at this condo the next time we return to Maui!

The view from the condo on the 7th floor is awesome -floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water - WOW -and the deck is great to have morning coffee and dinners. The condo has more kitchen appliances, supplies and useful items such as spices, oil, coffee than I have ever experienced in a rental. The furniture/bed are comfortable and don't let me forget to mention everything is super clean! It is located in a prime location on the island and having the access to the beach and pool is something unimaginable. We loved having the food trucks so close by (within walking distance) as well as several stores, a grocery store, restaurants and coffee shops. If I could give this 10 stars in every way I would! I hope to get back to Maui and if I do, I will do my very best to try to secure this condo again.

We stayed in a beautiful one-bedroom condo at the Aston Mahana. The unit was so inviting as soon as we entered. Cooking was a total pleasure in this well designed kitchen, Appliances were easy to use and cleanup a breeze. We prepared most of our meals and dined on the lovely lanai. viewing the ocean as well as enjoying the sound of the waves. Barbequing was easily done in the numerous free-to-use barbeques found on the common grounds.
The views of the ocean from the floor to ceiling windows was breath-taking. We saw whales breeching and spouting every day (we were visiting from March 16 to March 22).
The bedroom was very comfortable, listening to the sounds of the waves as you fall asleep in the high-quality "cooling" sheets that are on the King bed. There are a couple of room fans that are very quiet and work really efficiently as well as looking cool (like whale fins). And the windows have pull-down shades that work smoothly.
The beach is easily accessible and walking on either the beach or paved beach walk was a pleasure.

Walking distance for grocery store, food trucks, and Duke's (which we highly recommend.) Crystal was quick to respond and address worries I had about construction. Yes, we saw workers but they had no impact of interruption to a peaceful stay. My teenage son slept comfortably on the pull out coach. Beach was not crowded and pool and hot tub were clean. Absolutely beautiful views of whales and turtles from floor to ceiling windows and lanai. Room was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Walking distance for grocery store, food trucks, and Duke's (which we highly recommend.) Crystal was quick to respond and address worries I had about construction. We stayed in a beautiful one-bedroom condo at the Aston Mahana. The unit was so inviting as soon as we entered. Cooking was a total pleasure in this well designed kitchen, Appliances were easy to use and cleanup a breeze. We prepared most of our meals and dined on the lovely lanai. viewing the ocean as well as enjoying the sound of the waves. Barbequing was easily done in the numerous free-to-use barbeques found on the common grounds.
The views of the ocean from the floor to ceiling windows was breath-taking. We saw whales breeching and spouting every day (we were visiting from March 16 to March 22).
The bedroom was very comfortable, listening to the sounds of the waves as you fall asleep in the high-quality "cooling" sheets that are on the King bed. There are a couple of room fans that are very quiet and work really efficiently as well as looking cool (like whale fins). And the windows have pull-down shades that work smoothly.
The beach is easily accessible and walking on either the beach or paved beach walk was a pleasure.

We enjoyed serveral meals out (Mama's, Fleetwood's, Duke's) but you do just as well getting fresh seafood from the Maui Fish Market and staying in - you won't find a better view. Unit 717 is the best we've stayed in - the furniture and decor are first rate. Crytal does a great job staying in touch and making sure everything is in place for an easy and relaxing stay. We will be back!

The unit is on the seventh floor of 12 stories which provides an amazing vantage point for whale watching as well as all the activity on the water. Jim and Crystal have done an outstanding job of fully equipping the unit for your stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils and just about everything you would need. The location is immediately on the shoreline with just enough space to comfortably sit in lounge chairs in the grassy area before you get to the beach access. The location is also great for easy access to the several food trucks as well as the shoreline walk which extends from Dukes Restaurant (a must) / Honua Kai resort all the way to Whalers Village and the Kaanapali beach hotels. The exterior of the Mahana property has been under construction and has caused some noise/inconvenience issues for other guests at the property in the past. It appears the construction activity is nearing completion so hopefully that will not be an issue going forward.
This is a great unit and the hosts go out of their way to make sure you are happy. We've already booked the same unit for next year.

As soon as we walked in we were amazed by the views and spent countless hours watching the waves roll in from the lanai and living room window. We started every day drinking coffee watching the skies turn pink, and every night falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves.

Crystal and Jim made sure we had all the needed information well in advance of our arrival. The self check in was quick and easy. The condo has access to a walking path along the ocean. Finally, many breakfasts and late night cocktails were enjoyed on the lanai, taking in the beautiful views and listening to the ocean.

The location was perfect for lots of walking on the beach or boardwalk, and I feel like this property has the best ocean views of any others I saw within 2 miles either direction on my walks. The bed was super comfy and all amenities we needed were available. Enjoyed the pool area and having filtered water station there. Wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else next time on Maui.

We absolutely loved our stay here at Mahana 717. Everything is so clean and organized and has the most beautiful view as seen in the photos. The attention to details that Crystal has given this place is impeccable. She has everything here that you could possibly need. We brought the cooler, beach chairs, and the flashlight all the way up to Haleakala summit to watch the sunset. We brought the rain ponchos to Pipiwai trail just in case. We used the Bluetooth speaker to play music. We used the binoculars to watch the sea turtles swim in the ocean. We loved the table decoration (bamboo circle with the resin ocean waves) so much that we bought our own at the craft fair just so we can be reminded of this place! My kids loved it here too! It was nice to not be in the super crowded resort area. We felt like we had our own private beach. The pool was never too busy either. A quick walk .5 miles down the boardwalk will show you just how busy it can get. We were thankful for the peace and quiet. There was some construction going on but it really didn’t bother us much since we were out and about so often. The one day we stayed in, it was on and off from about 7:30am to 3:30pm which was totally fine. Crystal had even given us a heads up about it which I thought was super professional because it’s not anything she can control. We are home now and missing the sounds of the ocean waves, the view of beach with spectacular sunsets, and that cool breeze that just makes you take it easy. Mahalo for everything! We will be back! ❤️❤️❤️

My husband, teen daughter, and I recently stayed here. We were blown away by the views and proximity to all we wanted to do! We loved being on the beach walk path and walked to Whaler’s Village for some fantastic meals.
Our stay was wonderful. Many thanks to Jim and Crystal who thought of everything! We loved using the beach chairs and cooler. Your condo is tastefully decorated and had all the amenities needed for an excellent stay! The bed, and sofa bed, were so comfortable.

We spent a few nights of our honeymoon here and it did not disappoint. It’s hard to believe but this place looks even better in person than the you see in the pictures. The unit itself is well appointed with everything you need to enjoy the area including beach chairs and coolers! Sea turtles can be seen right out the window and the sunsets from the patio are incredible. Would highly recommend this property if your staying in Ka’anapali and don’t wont to mess with the busyness of the resorts.
