Unit #142 is in building 21, a two bedroom Garden View Paradise unit is in the heart of the Kiahuna gardens, this beautifully furnished two level unit is away from the noise of roads and parking lots, just a minute's walk to the beach and far enough from the lagoon so the frogs don't keep you awake at night. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are downstairs, the living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen are in the upper level. This is one of the few units with cathedral ceilings and huge bank of windows, giving unparalleled light and spaciousness. Outdoor living includes a furnished upper balcony lanai, as well as a ground level lanai off the master bedroom with huge lawns all around. This is a wonderful unit for families. The view from the lanais are of lawn and garden and the twin bridge beyond.

Our guests have all the privileges available to any other Kiahuna guest, including free swimming, fitness room, and tennis at the Poipu Beach Athletic Club.

A wonderful sandy swimming beach is only a quick bare foot walk across the Kiahuna lawns, where you can snorkel, swim, surf, and sunbathe to your hearts content. Complimentary beach towels and chairs are available at the beach hut. World-class golf is at the nearby Kiahuna Golf Club, or Poipu Bay Golf Club, home of the Grand Slam of Golf.

Choose from over 20 excellent restaurants in the area, from shave ice and puka dogs to the elegant Plantation Gardens Restaurant right at Kiahuna. Or you can grab some fresh Opakapaka in Koloa and grill your supper on a barbecue right on the front lawn.

We provide one towel and linen replenishment in a 7 night stay. Additional housekeeping can be arranged upon check in.

Nice complex. No air conditioning and wasn’t listed on description. Housekeeping dropped large garbage bag of clean sheets and towels at front door without taking inside and remaking beds and taking away dirty linens. Lacks some Basic supplies like kitchen hand soap, counter top spray or wipes.

The property is very well located. There is walkable access to Poipu beach and a beautiful walking trail that goes for many miles south along the coast is a 10 minute walk away. All other Kauai beaches and coastal hiking trails are within a 1.5 hr drive. The property is on the beach and includes a "beach hut" where snorkeling gear can be rented and surfing lessons purchased. Unfortunately, for most of our stay, the property's direct beach access was not available due to a structural failure of the wood steps that connected the property to the beach; thus, the beach had to be accessed via the neighboring public access point. The property grounds are lovely and very well maintained. We did not use the pool and gym facilities that are located across the street (primary thoroughfare) from the condo buildings and primary property. Our two-bedroom condo was quite spacious, and beds were quite comfortable. However, the unit as a whole is looking a bit dated and needs to be refurbished. One of the two showers needed maintenance before we could use it. The dishwasher did not work well, and the tv system was challenging to use, even for the tech-savvy members of the family.

This unit is nicely situated in the wonderful Kiahuna Plantation property. As some mentioned, it needs some updates to dressers, bathrooms, carpet and kitchen. But, we had a wonderful stay, the owner was very responsive and helpful, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals for a family of 5. We would return to this property again.

We rented two units on this last visit. Our adult children stayed in the 2 bedroom and were very comfortable. Attractive well cared for unit with a great location on the property and most importantly pleasant communication with the owner who nicely agreed to a late checkout to accommodate our late flight. Would return without question.

This is our third time staying at Kiahuna Plantation. The property/resort itself is so beautiful and spacious. In the past, we have stayed in a one bedroom unit but booked a two bedroom 2 level unit which was a real luxury to have the extra space. The location of Gords unit is perfect with great grassy walk out area and right in the middle of the property close and easy access to the beach and athletic club across the street. Gord was a pleasure to deal with - very accommodating and quick to respond and called a few times to confirm a few details. The units at Kiahuna are simple and basic but have everything you would need and give the real authentic Hawaiian feeling. We can't wait to come back!

This is a lovely property on the "great lawn". Access to the beach is easy and use of the lawn by kids is ideal. The ocean breeze thru the unit was a big plus. Thank you for the use of your property. Since the end unit is west facing, the upstairs can get warm in the afternoon. A few upright fans would be a nice addition. We'd love to come back.

This was a great spot for my family - 4 adults and 2 teens. Plenty of space for the family, and easy access to all amenities. We loved easy access to the beaches. Loved the convenient foot washes outside the front and back doors to help keep sand out of the condo, and having an outdoor grill nearby was convenient. The bathrooms are a bit dated but functional. Lots of windows provided a beautiful breeze and lots of natural light. During the afternoon hours the sun would shine right into the living area through the large cathedral windows and it would get a bit warm, so it would be nice to have shades on those windows to have the option of blocking the sun during that time of day. But there are fans in all the rooms. Overall a great stay.

Spacious two bedroom condo, centrally located on the property. Close walk to the beach and to the pool. Back opens up to massive lawn. Interior a bit dated, but completely functional. Unit comes with beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys, etc. Second time at the Kiahuna, would definitely stay at this unit again.

We were able to have a wonderful vacation in the midst of a pandemic. Kiahuna Plantation is a beautiful, quiet and spacious resort. This condo was very nice and provided the privacy and space and comfort we were craving. The kitchen was not well equipped but that is probably due to Covid. Overall an idyllic vacation experience.

Kiahuna is a family favorite because the building layout, gardens, and activities are exceptional and this has been true over the decades we have been coming there. This condo was as described - great for family with a well-stocked kitchen and ample space to gather at the indoor dining table. We appreciated the owners helpful communications around COVID, restaurant recommendations, and more - Gordon went beyond what we expected in being helpful in this regard. What we were somewhat disappointed by was the cabinetry and storage areas throughout the house which seemed old and overused, but extras like the blender in the kitchen and the two surf boards on the lanai made up for that. Our family loves the plantation and will continue to come back for years to come!
