What's Nearby:
The town of Kapa'a, less than two miles away, is a spot where you can park your car once and hit the beach, go to a restaurant, rent water gear, or do some shopping. Just a few blocks south is Coconut Marketplace, which has hula, shops, and dining options, is only a short walk away. There are a few different beaches just a few steps from there westward. Casual (and fun!) oceanfront dining can be had at Lava Lava Beach Club just on the other side of Kauai Shores.

Place was well decorated and kitchen had everything you need. BBQ was great. TV and Wifi were perfect. Beach chairs and umbrella were wonderful to have. Overall it is showing its age- smells musty and damp and that couch has to go.

We had a wonderful stay in this unit. It was clean and comfortable and felt like home away from home. Nice details were considered like a blender for fresh fruit smoothies (yum!) and a welcome basket that really was welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and some of the best sleeps on this trip. The central location was ideal if you want to explore every inch of the island like we did. Would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay, we loved the condo, it was furnished with everything we needed. The welcome basket that we received was so nice of the owners to provide. The AC was lovely on days it was a little hot not too many and the evening breezes were great, the area was quiet and had a lovely stay. We would stay here again when visiting Kauai, would recommend to others.

This was amazing, for the price of a hotel room we received so much more, we have grandchildren in Kauai and usually we stay at a hotel, this trip we booked with Vacasa, we had a one bedroom full kitchen and living room with pools and hot tubs. This had all the convince of a home, my wife was finally able to cook diners for the grandchildren, plus we were also able to have great comfortable sleepovers with the kids. An added bonus, Vacasa was there for us and the property Hale Plantation gave us great hospitality, same as if we booked with them. This property is highly recommended by us regardless if you book it with Vacasa or directly with Hale Plantation.

The unit A-6 was a great place. Full kitchen with great appliances. I love to cook and this kitchen had everything i needed to prepare gourmet meals for my 17 year old son and i. The living room was spacious with a nice dining area and pull out sofa, its probably time to get a new one- kinda saggy. The bedroom was awesome, bed so comfortable after a long day of kauai fun! Air con and ceiling fans were a plus. There was even a long private balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds. We did have a problem with the t.v when we arrived and it was a very unpleasant experiance. It took the unit manager Sue four days to replace the t.v. and she was very rude and unproffesional through the whole process. We loved this unit and the plantation hale staff, they were so nice.We had such a awesome time in Kauai that we now plan to come back once a year in the summer. This is a great unit, my son and i loved it but next year we'll stay at one that this woman doesnt represent

The unit is as exactly as shown in the photos, however, not as bright and airy as the photos portray the property to be. Upon our arrival on our first night, being awake for 24 hours and extremely tired, only to find out the property did not receive the necessary paperwork of our reservation. The security guard had to wake the manager up to call Vacasa in the middle of the night to obtain our booking confirmation and authorization to stay at this property. You think this would have been a priority to do immediately after payment was received 3 months before our arrival. Another huge disappointment was the smell of the unit. It smelled of moisture, almost moldy and stale; as if something was wet and just never dried properly. It could have been the carpet or the walls and It took us about 2-3 days of air conditioning to reduced the odorous air by 50%. If you laid your clothes out for a while, it would have gotten the same odor. Aside from the above, the unit was very clean (in terms of the linens, towels, floors and counters). The kitchen knife was a little dull, so much so, it was difficult to cut through watermelon flesh. This May need replacing. The property is located close to most hikes, waterfalls and downtown Kapaa where one of the best shave ice (food truck) Is located. (Waimea Shave ice). This is a Must try. Location is central and very convenient
