The view was amazing. Advertised as a six person rental but only comfortable for 5. Lanai was wonderful with plenty of room for 6. Very clean and quiet. Great customer service. Steep driveway but doable. Stairs to enter. Sand chairs, boogie boards and snorkel masks where great. Definitely would rent again.

The house was very comfortable and well-appointed from the kitchen to the beach accessories. The wrap around deck and sunrise views were amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. House was very clean, for the most part quiet, except for the chickens crowing very early in the mornings. We did a number of excursions, and this house was located where most of them were short drives. Others have commented about the driveway and it is very steep, so be ready. The other thing to be ready for is the mosquitos, making sitting outside difficult. There was insect repellent in the house. Nice home, beautiful island and we would rent this home again. Thanks for letting us stay in your home!

Ok, everyone goes to Hawaii for the beach and surf but you don't neccessarily want to stay near the beach or proximity. If you want the ocean view with a private setting? This will be the location for you. My only question is, if the house has three bedrooms that can sleep 6 or more people, why wouldn't you have a larger dining table?

If you’re looking at this property, my only advice to you is book it! This place was phenomenal to stay at: clean, had everything you need, supplied beach items, books for nearby activities, gave a warm welcome, and had a breathtaking view from the balcony. Our family had breakfast and dinner on the balcony everyday and truly soaked in the viewed. Thanks for a great stay

Great restaurants nearby. There were five in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. We’d recommend this place to anyone in a larger group. Mahalo!

The house has everything you need and great for families! Fully stocked kitchen with utensils and conveniences like tupperware for packing lunches for the beach and hikes. I mentioned celebrating my 50th birthday for this trip and to my surprise there was a birthday card with local island treats to greet us upon arrival. We will definitely come back. Gorgeous view from deck, outdoor shower and grill! We felt comfortable and the whole reservation and check in/out process was seamless.

Property is as advertised. Entry was easy after negotiation of the steep driveway. Clean and very functional for our group of 5. Furnishings were comfortable. Kitchen had all that we needed to cook for the week. Bathrooms were clean and well furnished. We would have spent more time on the big lanai but intermittent showers were rolling through every day. Location is central to all of the South side activities. I saved the best part for last as this property has amazing views south and east of Kalaheo. Neighborhood was quiet except for the Kauai chickens that are everywhere on the Garden Isle.
This is a one of a kind property. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Kauai (our favorite island).

Our family (2 older parents plus two adult children with their partners) stayed in this lovely home for 10 days. It is a beautiful and spacious home with a fabulous view of mountains and ocean in the distance, and had everything we needed, including kitchen items, beach chairs and towels, and more. It was centrally located, less than 2 hours to all access points to the NaPali coast, 30mi to the Lihue airport, and 20 minutes to some great beach options. We would stay here again without hesitation. The only thing to be aware of is the 3rd sleeping area is an open loft that is not entirely private from the master bedroom, so probably best for family members rather than 3 couples who may want complete privacy.

There were several major (and a few minor) problems associated with this house:
1) the a/c could not be controlled. Upon arrival, the house was freezing. We called Vacasa and finally got in touch with the local property manager (Alex). Only he could set the temperature. He did that almost daily until we finally just gave up and had the house set at 78. The 3 ac units would go on and off whenever they wanted to. We have never had an accomodation that did not have local heating and ac controls available.
2) there were no condiments, no notepads, no stickynotes no pens, no pencils in the house when we arrived.
3) had to put the laptop in the bathroom since there is no desk in the house....wifi was spotty in a few locations, but good in the main bathroom.
4) the driveway is VERY steep and there are lots of stairs....this house is not for the handicapped.
5) no laundry basket.
6) the 2nd bedroom is not directly connected to the 2nd bathroom so there was no privacy going between the two rooms.
7) the deck and outside stairs were VERY slippery when wet (which was usually the case - Kauai rains a lot).
8) earplugs were needed since the roosters crowed day and night).
The house looks great from the photos, but be warned.
We would not rent this house again.

Very clean, quiet, and amazing view of the island down to Poipu and Koloa. Being on the south side is the way to go. It’s less crowded and offers more local opportunities away from the tourist crowds. Wonderful place to live on Kuaui. We feel very lucky to have stayed here! The Gilpins 2021
