We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jeff's property. The property was clean and neat and close to the most beautiful beach we have ever experienced, Hanalei Beach. Our Kauai honeymoon was a wonderful experience, and Jeff's property enhanced our stay. If you are from a quiet and rural area as we are, you should know that a high volume of cars pass by between 8 pm and 10 pm, making sleep impossible. Still, the sounds of cars and trucks were a minor inconvenience. The property is truly wonderful and you will love it. We are grateful to Jeff for his hospitality.

Nice and private. The big soaker tub was awesome. No air conditioning, but so many open windows and fans, that it didn't matter. Short hike from the beach (but it is a hike, not a walk). Thank you!

One note to visitors, owner and the cleaning person: The unit is ventilated by two attic-type fans up in the A-frame ceiling that turn on automatically via thermostat. When we arrived, the place was very hot. Do NOT use the regular ceiling fans during the day as they blow hot air back down to the unit instead of up to the unused loft to be ventilated away. Owner: consider switching the fans to reverse mode to pull air up.

Our stay was wonderful. Not the biggest cottage but the way it’s made, the kids had their side and we had the master bed room. Kitchen well stocked, enough of everything. It’s close to grocery store and other shops. Location is great, in the middle of all attractions we chose. We underestimated the time it takes to Waimea but drive is always nice.

We LOVED our stay here. The place is wonderful and the location is beautiful. Although it is in part of a complex, and there are many other communities nearby, it doesn't feel busy. It is a beautiful area that is just minutes from so many things on the North Shore.
I would warn anyone who might be naive like us that the place doesn't have AC. I believe that is standard in Princeville as nearly every neighbor has doors and/or windows open 24/7. I didn't deduct a star because we weren't promised AC. It eventually gets cold enough to sleep at night. I just couldn't nap during the day like I'm used to on vacation.
If you only need AC at night during summer, or if it is any other season, I would HIGHLY recommend it.

The bungalow was spacious, clean, well furnished and in a great location. My husband and I loved that we could walk to Anini beach in less than 15 minutes. There is a trail from behind the house that takes you to the beach (you have to navigate a somewhat steep descent down; although even with a bad knee I was able to do it). Watched spectacular sunrise and sunset from the beach (yeah- both)!

We loved Jeff’s place. This stand-alone house in a beautiful condo complex was first rate. The inside was spacious & luxurious & gorgeous. Everything one could want was provided. The outside space was beautiful full of mature flowering plants & full of bird song. The backyard space included a large fancy deck and a spacious lawn space. A short maybe half mile walk to the beach was along a foot path to a lovely and uncrowded beach where a stream joined the ocean.
We hope & plan to stay at this place again & absolutely loved our stay there in April.

Overall our stay was very good. House keeping could step it up a couple notches with cleaning the gecko crap around the kitchen patio doors. Otherwise the place was very clean and comfortable. The manager was great to deal with and responded almost immediately when contact was made. Excellent location.

Beautiful little place with everything you could want. Full kitchen with cooking supplies, pots, pans, plates, the works. Washer, Dryer, parking and awesome communication with Jeff, the owner. We really loved staying here with the exception of the noise. If I were a heavier sleeper, this place would have been perfect. Unfortunately due to the proximity to the street and the open air aspects of the home, the Kauai roosters made it difficult for us to get a good night’s sleep every night. Ear plugs helped but unfortunately for us, we won’t be able to stay here again. But solely for that noise reason. Everything else about this place is charming, great amenities, location, and exceptional hosts.

We loved our 3-night stay at this delightful bungalow. It was clean, well-located in Princeville, safe, quiet (bring earplugs everywhere in Hawaii because of the roosters!) and well cared for. We we so pleased to find various sizes of coolers + blue ice in the freezer so we could easily pack lunches for the beach. We were happy to use the beach chairs, boogie board and snorkel equipment in the deck bin. We also appreciated having the standing fan for the one evening when it was fairly warm. The only thing to note is do not go into the loft! The loft is off-limits to guests, but that is just fine! We would definitely stay here again.

If you could call it an issue, the air circulation doesn’t let the late afternoon and early evening cool air bring the temperature level down to a pleasant temp until the wee hours of the morning. A good window fan would help. There was supposed to be two pedestal fans but there was only one plus the small box fan. Overall, a ten out of ten rating.

Once again, our stay felt like home. The location is perfect if you only want activities on the north shore. You have everything you need in Princeville if not you don’t need it. The house is nicely decorated and clean.
I think this is our 3rd or 4th time in this rental. The only bummer was the second day of our 12 day stay was the fence the golf course put up blocking the view. They are working on the golf course. Even though Kauai has gotten busier we will return in a couple of years and hopefully stay at our Kauai home. Thank you Jeff for sharing your home

Well appointed villa in a quiet complex. North Shore Kauai …two lane roads and one lane bridges. A pleasant change from busy schedules. Wonderful, unpopulated beaches, several with great surfing opportunities, and the Nepali Coastal trail 20 minutes away…not to forget the free range Roosters and hens that really enjoy sunrise 🌞

Definitely recommend this property. The accommodations are updated and comfortable including the bed which is essential after a day of exploring the island. Thank you for the use of your home! Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in this delightful Princeville Bungalow. It had everything we needed to make our visit pleasant and memorable, from morning walks, nearby beaches, restaurants, well-equipped kitchen, and more. If/when we return, we would check on the availability of this special home.

Mostly very nice but could use some upgrades. The mattress was very comfortable though, as were the pillows. Great kitchen too. The steps into the dining area are so dangerous. The blue strips of tape aren't an adequate safety measure; not very visible. Some of the DVD's were so damaged they wouldn't play. We're old so were in at night looking for entertainment.
We were disappointed at the street traffic, cars and foot, that are right outside the bedroom window. Ear plugs helped. Needed them anyway for the crazy roosters crowing at all hours. :) Overall though really enjoyed this VRBO.

The bungalow was great. Perfect location and we’ll equipped kitchen. We enjoyed several hikes and the nearby beaches are beautiful. We enjoyed our relaxing time in Kauai.
