Amazing location, steps to Baby Beach. Having older children it was great they could come and go as they please to the beach, and we didn’t have to pack up beach gear and drive to enjoy the beach. House was well stocked for most our needs. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would love to stay here again!

Stayed here with my husband, 4 year old and 20 mo old. It was magical. Walking to the beach whenever (no packing of snacks needed..just walk back!..mamas you know!). Beautiful home, super friendly neighbors & other renters in the area. Amazing food just up the street. Would AC be an awesome addition? Yes..but there were lots of fans to help cool us off. Would love to stay again! My son already misses all of the cats.

Baby beach bungalow was amazing! We absolutely loved our 4 night stay there and wished we could have stayed longer. It’s a really unique and wonderful property. Beautifully decorated, equipped with everything you need and more, fantastic location just steps from beautiful Baby Beach. Plus we loved the company of the baby beach kitties (Paloma, Ipo, and Kalea in particular). We have a lot of special memories from our stay there and can’t wait to go back!

We visited the island for a wedding at The Beach House and chose this BBB#2 based on location! Not only was the location ideal for local attractions, it’s also a mid point for Canyon Hikes, and North Shore Bay days!
The kitchen was fully stocked, the towels and beach gear were in great condition!

This cottage-stay was wonderful. It was clean and comfortable. The house is older, but the kitchen was up-to-date and fully stocked. The furniture is comfortable. There are plenty of pillows to arrange to your needs. My only wish would to have had a low-threshold shower, but only because we’re “older.”
We walked across the street every morning to “baby beach II” for a swim and to just soak up the pure beauty of this paradise. We’ve been coming to the islands for 25+ years.
Good for a couple or a small group. Enjoy!

We loved the stay at BBB2! Steps away from the ocean with a great location to food, shops and the beach! The home was well stocked and we loved having access to beach chairs, snorkel equipment and beach umbrellas. The outdoor shower was awesome so we could rinse off after being in the sand. Pamela cares about her guests and makes sure you have everything you need to be comfortable in her home. The kitty love was an added bonus. Front porch time with the cats was highly enjoyed by all. We had a great time, would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to others!

We had an amazing stay at Baby Beach Bungalow II! Everything was exactly as pictured, even the friendly cats. We arrived late and still had no trouble finding the home and getting in. We ran down to the beach for the sunrise the next morning, it was so special. Our kids (6 and 8) loved the proximity to the beach and we saw turtles on a couple days. The home is very well stocked, we appreciated the little extras, like night lights!

Fantastic property that meets all the criteria you could want in a Kauai vacation rental. Amazing location just steps from the beach, a short walk to shops/restaurants, and a great jumping off point for exploring the south side of the island. The house was well furnished, clean, and exceptionally well stocked with both kitchen needs and beach activity supplies: snorkeling gear, beach chairs, towels, etc. The beach was popular with many people parking in the street in front of the house, but they were never a bother and the community is otherwise quiet and peaceful. This trip was just for me and my spouse, but it would be a great place to bring a family as well. We would love to return again someday!

We absolutely loved this rental! The location was perfect and right near the ocean. The kids loved to watch for whales and turtles and playing with the cats around the house. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and more and is very well decorated to give a warm feeling as soon as you enter. A perfect beach house!

We had the best stay at this home located right across the street from baby beach. The home is immaculate, clean, and well stocked with anything you may need during your stay. It is the perfect getaway for a small family and suited us perfectly for the holidays this year. The kitties are friendly, but the beach right across the street is the main attraction. We started coming to baby beach when our girls were 3 and 5, and now at 6 and 8 they continue to love their time at baby beach. We play all day and stick around for the beautiful sunsets at night. The kids love to snorkel, play in the water, search for sea creatures, and the were also treated to many sea turtles this time around! We will be back again, this is THE place to stay on baby beach.

Simply amazing property and location on the South side of Kauai. This is my second time to the island w/ my family. Both times we split time between a property on the North end and one on the South. This bungalow was by far the best property we stayed out. Had everything you could need for a relaxing, adventurous, fun-filled, family time on Kauai. Just an amazing spot and experience that I plan on re-visiting again hopefully sometime soon.

Baby Beach Bungalow 2 is a beach get away dream come true. Sitting on the lanai in the morning, sipping coffee, listening to the waves, feeling the breeze was the perfect start to everyday. The south side was gorgeously sunny! The location was ideal - close to shops, Koloa, Poipu and an great launching point to explore the rest of the island. The neighbors were warm and welcoming, you could find most of the neighborhood every evening on baby beach to watch the sunset --sometimes joined by sea turtles! Pamela was the most gracious host and has created such a relaxed atmosphere at Baby Beach Bunaglow 2 - thank you Pamela!

Baby Beach Bungalow 2 was exactly as described! It is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beach across the street. Not in a super-touristy area, yet still close to all amenities. This house had everything we needed - all beach equipment, fully equipped and stocked kitchen, etc. Beware that there is no a/c, but it only took a couple of days to get used to that, and the house has the most amazing ceiling fans. We ate almost all of our breakfasts and dinners on the front porch, and sat outside at night to look at the endless starry night sky. Can't wait to return!

The pictures attempt to show how glorious this property and location is but ultimately you must be there to fully understand. The aloha spirit flows through this home and neighborhood. The ocean feels like it is in the yard a bare foot 60 second walk away. It is no wonder why so many proposals and marriages are celebrated here.

Had a wonderful Kauai visit with my entire family in both Baby Beach Bungalows (me, wife, and daughter in Bungalow 2), (son and his family in Bungalow 1). It rained only 1 day with WX great for remainder of stay. Great accommodations with outstanding landscaping, well maintained cottage that is stocked with lots of coffee and tea, handy beach equipment, comfortable beds, very good ventilation, and plenty of fans to cool the building. It was in mid 80's during day and mid 70's at night, so fans were nice. Never lonely at the Bungalows with sounds of the sea, family, sea turtles, cats, chickens, roosters, and doves around. We really enjoyed our stay! The house was so well stocked there was absolutely everything we needed. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast out on the front porch while looking at the waves rolling in. The kitchen has everything you could want, including lots of spices.
The location is fantastic! Very close to the beach, with easy access to lots of shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this house for a relaxing stay!

This was a beautiful home! It far exceeded any expectations we had (surprisingly the pictures don’t fully capture how massively spacious it is) and it had an amazing, huge lanai and backyard, which we fully enjoy. That yard was so lush and pristine. The home has been restored beautifully, the kitchen was fully equipped and the AC in the bedrooms was a definite plus. There was even a big wagon to use to haul everything to the beach. Lovely home in a lovely location.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! Pamela is gracious, helpful, responsive and her home is well-stocked with all the amenities of your own home and then some! Having the beach right across the street is so wonderful—hearing the waves all day and night was such a highlight for us. The added bonus was the kitties and seeing them every day. TLDR: This is the ideal place to stay on Kauai if you have
young children and want to enjoy some sunny beach time without the resort crowds. For those wanting a little more info, keep reading.
Location: This property is on the south (sunny) side of Kauai, just outside the Poipu resort area. Its on a side street directly across from the public access point to Baby Beach. Baby Beach has a natural breakwater 50 yards out from shore that results in small waves perfect for the little ones (mine are 3 and 5). Its literally a 20 second walk. I did it barefoot at least a dozen times a day during my stay. The 5 year old forgot his goggles? No problem, dad's on it. The 3 year old forgot her water shoes (which she doesn't need but wants)? Easy peasy. Wife needs another white wine spritzer? Fresh one coming up in 60 seconds. This aspect of the location alone was worth the price of admission, but there is so much more. It’s 2 miles to the end of the main road to the west. Great for a morning run with some awesome views of the waves crashing. Koloa town (a short 5 minute drive) has a great grocery store/market (friendliest staff on the planet), an awesome pizza place (with the best whiskey selection on the island), an ice cream joint, a burger place, and food trucks. The house is also walking distance from the Beach House restaurant and from The Shops as Kukui'ula where there is some shopping, a sushi restaurant, another burger place, a shrimp taco place, and Merrimans. And while its either a long walk (we walked it) or a short 3 minute drive, make sure you check out Little Fish for smoothies and fruit bowls.
Property: Hands down the best equipped rental we've stayed in. The kitchen had everything you would ever need, including a Ninja blender for those interested in some island drinks. Great counter space for prep as well. The layout of the house is superb. Bedrooms are isolated from the living area with a bathroom between each and the main area (allowing you to put down kids and not worry about making noise in the rest of the house). The house was clean, felt airy, had 9' ceilings, and a great front porch. The yard was also big enough for the kids to play around in.
We had no problems while staying there, so I can't comment on response from the property management company or the owner. But I did receive an email from the owner after check-in asking how everything was, so I have no doubt any issue would be resolved immediately if one came up.

By far the best VRBO I've ever stayed in. As someone who likes to cook on vacation, I tend to judge a place by its kitchen essentials (or lack thereof). Cooking at Pamela's was like cooking at home. My friends and I really appreciated her attention to detail throughout the property. Makeup remover, earplugs (might need them for the roosters lol), two coffee makers, spices--she really has thought of everything. Bring a swimsuit, good vibes, and you're all set. :)
Already counting the days until I can visit Kauai and stay in Pamela's home again. It's picture perfect and comes with the sweetest kitties! Best part had to have been waking up and having our morning coffee on the water. 10/10 (other people seemed to think so too--her home literally stops folks in their tracks as they're walking by). Stop your search and book Baby Beach Bungalow--you won't regret it.

We have been to the island probably 9 times. This place is the best!. It is located on very quiet street with beach steps away. The beach is perfect for kids and protected also great for sunrise sunsets. Beach House Restaurant just a short walk away with the best snorkel spot on island….many fish and turtles. The parakeets fly in after sunset literally thousands to nest in trees by Beach House Restaurant an event for sure. Parking at bungalow off street in back with outside shower yes even hot water! House have everything and more that you need including several cats we fed. They waited for our return every evening. The front patio is great for eating and has BBQ in case you want to stay close to home. Towels, bedding excellent. When I come back I will want to stay here again. What a lovely time we all had. This is not just a rental property but someone's actual vacation home and it is very well stocked. The view of the ocean is just lovely (who doesn't want to be able to see the ocean while they are doing dishes) and the access to Baby Beach directly across the street is amazing. We loved the cozy neighborhood and the owner was so communicative. We would highly recommend this beach house to anyone.

The house was gorgeous, very clean, fully stocked and the perfect location. So many nice touches from the company - flowers, welcome note, more dishes and appliances than you could every use, great supply of beach equipment and so helpful to have a washer and dryer. I can't recommend this house enough. To walk across the street to the beach was a dream. The house is in a very convenient location to explore the area. I looked up future availability while we were there because I did not want to leave! We do hope to return.

We are not huge fans of the south side and prefer other areas of the island but this place changed my mind. My kids loved it here. The beach is across the street. The beach was perfect for young children. The front porch was a lot of fun. The house has everything. I will probably try to rent the sister property with another family next time we visit Kauai. The two bedrooms are decent sized. There are two full bathrooms. Outdoor shower. The beach in front of the house did not interest our 12-14 year olds but that's why it's called Baby Beach. There is a great beach just 5 minutes walk that they enjoyed. The town of Koloa is quaint and very convenient. We aren't condo people so this was really perfect. Even had all the spices you might need for cooking. Pamela was available with any questions. We are ready to go back tomorrow.

Baby Beach Bungalow II is a very nice little house, just steps from a small, sheltered beach. It's an easy walk to a good snorkeling spot over by the Beach House. The kitchen is very well-stocked. There is snorkeling gear and beach stuff on the back step. There's private parking in back. All good. But the main attraction (for us) is the Baby Beach cats. The owner keeps filled cat food dishes on the front and back steps and a population of (spayed and neutered) cats come and visit regularly. Just now there is a super-affectionate black kitten that will make your day.

The first afternoon we arrived at the Baby Beach Bungalow, after touring the tropical gardens in the front and back, and settling in to a very cozy and welcoming beach bungalow, we made a snap decision. We immediately checked the online availability and booked our follow-up stay, to celebrate a birthday.
Having stayed at over thirty VRBO destinations, the Baby Beach Bungalow rates of one of two all-time favorite stays. And, this is the first time I have felt compelled to pen a review.
The bungalow is: tastefully decorated; super clean; very well stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils; beach chairs and related items ready for use. Walking in to the bungaliw, my first impression was “this must be a mistake ... this place is too nice and well-maintained.for a rental!
As stated in the bungalow description, there is an added bonus- a family of resident beach bungalow cats, who are ready to welcome you and enhance your time o the covered tropical veranda.
Pamela did a great job communicating with us during our stay.
Well... the secret is obviously out regarding this hidden gem- just look at the pre-booked calendar. If you are lucky, you will also find an opening and book it quick. The you I’m will see what compelled this “ on-reviewer” to take the time to write this review.
