From the moment I booked this property, Vicki had excellent communication and was very informative. When we arrived, her place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
My husband and I stayed here for the last 3 days of our 11 day vacation. We took advantage of the fully equipped kitchen to cook some of our own meals as dining out can get expensive in Hawaii.
The views from the pool are spectacular and we loved watching the sunset over the water.
There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby and several beaches within 5 miles of the place.
I highly recommend staying here if your looking for a clean and affordable base to explore the Big Island.

This was by far the cleanest property we have ever had the privilege to visit. We were in town for a wedding, the location was awesome close to everything we wanted to see and conveniently located for shopping and restaurants. The property is as advertised and much more, we found everything we could have asked for in the kitchen and available in the restroom and needs for the beach. The pool overlooks the ocean and is a short walk across the parking lot. We will absolutely consider staying again when we are able to make our way back to Kona, wonderful Host and the property exceeded our expectations.

The apartment is close to the shops and restaurants within a short drive. The apartment has everything we needed so it was comfortable. It’s right next to the main road but quite at night. It’s also about 20-30 minutes from the airport so it was convenient. We had a nice stay.

Well stocked apartment that is close to downtown Kailua-Kona. Very nice set up for two people. Fully stocked kitchen, bathroom and comfortable bed and couch. We fully enjoyed our stay. This place had everything we can think of, even beach chairs and an umbrella! The place was very clean, and the shower, the kitchen, the bed and the location were all great. The owner was very easy to connect and very helpful. There is no ocean view from the apartment, and there is a two-minute walk to the pool. It is a nice pool and free.

My Husband and I traveled to Hawaii in November 2022 for our 60th birthdays and our 12th wedding anniversary. We spent the first six days of our trip on the island of Maui and the last six days on The Big Island. Vicki’s condo was absolutely gorgeous! The location is within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and other attractions. Vicki had a bowl of fruit from her garden waiting for us upon arrival, such a special personal touch! The property was extremely clean, and it had anything and everything we needed. Vicki provided detailed instructions for everything and a binder with information about local amenities. She was flexible with our check-in/out times, and the price was very affordable as well. The outdoor area contained a spot for grilling, and the pool was right on the ocean’s edge which had the most amazing sunsets we have ever seen. We will definitely select this condo again when we return to The Big Island. Vicki is an outstanding host, and she even sent us a personal hand written note after our stay. This is by far the best condo we have stayed in to date!!

I am excited to leave a review for this property. There were so many little touches to this rental that made my stay so wonderful. Most rentals have a little bit "throw together" look. A lot of the utensils and cooking accessories will be random or key things missing, but not this place. If it was thrown together I could not tell. Full set of pans, french press, coffee grinder, lots and lots of towels (the towels got me. No idea why, but I just felt really appreciative of all of the towels), huge king bed with extra blankets and pillows, there were notes everywhere about how things were cleaned (this really made me feel safe). The AC in the unit was CLUTCH!! Plus, it was a split unit so it was super quiet.

This condo was perfect for my elderly parents, it was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Vicki was easy to talk to and willing to help with anything that they needed. My husband and I started our family HI vacation a few days ahead of the rest and found a perfect location for our trip. The condo has everything you need, towels, beach gear, bathroom products extra. Vicki is so easy to work with and is very quick to respond to text messages. We had a little tech issue with the TV and she called and walked us through it right away. The condo is on street side but street noise didn’t bother us at all. The view from the pool is spectacular especially for whale watching and sunsets. I look forward to another trip. Mahalo.

Vicky's condo at Kona Shores is exceptional. It is very clean, the bed is comfortable, the floors are new and stylish, and the bathroom is larger than I expected. This unit is located in the first building, closest to the street, yet I am a light sleeper and did not hear anything all night long. Everything you need is here including toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, plenty of towels, pots and pans, shampoo, quick WIFI, etc. There is a full size clean refrigerator and stove. Outside, beyond the clean pool area is the ocean splashing on the rocks, very soothing. Unfortunately, my stay was very short, but I would stay again for a longer visit.

We were only staying in Kona for 2 days before going to Hilo so I was going for economy over amenities but I wish we were staying longer here based on the amenities! The ocean is just a short walk through the parking lot and darling coffee shop/deli is right next door. The condo is very clean and has all things needed for pool and beach! The view of the ocean while laying out at the pool is amazing! Short driving distance to shopping in town!

We loved the condo! It was perfect for my son and I. The location is wonderful, the pool is beautiful (as is the laundry room!), and the condo was stocked with absolutely everything we needed, as well as with things we didn't even know we'd need! Hostess Vicki could not have been nicer or more helpful. Our stay was fantastic!

If your looking for something outside of a regular hotel room this place is great. Setup in a condo/apartment style setting its on the water with a pool looking right into the ocean. Save some money to spend on fun things to do with no parking fee's. Having a kitchen makes it great for cooking if you get sick of eating out and save a little for fun things to do. Clean and easy access to everywhere.

I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about Vicki’s space. It is fully stocked with everything you could ever need (truly) and the space itself is adorable! We also loved the pool, and the access to the water where we were even able to do some close shore snorkeling! Vicki was so responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We moved on to the other side of the island, and no other Vrbo’s compare to hers! We hope to be back soon :)
