Awesome location! Within walking distance to a lot of really great restaurants, stores, and the beach! It was perfect for just two of us. A few things need some minor maintenance (the hand towel rack was not fully secured and the screen door came off at one point) but otherwise everything was great! We would definitely stay here again.

Great location!! Walking distance to everything you need! The room was nice and worked fine for one person. There is no bathroom sink - the kitchen sink is used for both spaces which would be very challenging with another person. No dresser to put clothes away and no nightstands by the bed for charging phones. Great for a solo spot!

Arrived in the room to find the garbage not emptied, dirty used sheets on the bed, dirty used towels piled on the floor. Put in a dispute to have cleaning fee refunded. Thank you VRBO for taking care of the refund.Told owner, no response, no apology, nothing.Very unhappy with lack of response.

We had a wonderful stay in Jacy’s condo. It has a prime location, just a short walk away from the center of town with many cute shops, restaurants and beaches. The condo had everything we needed and we loved having our morning coffee and breakfast on the balcony. The property gardens are beautiful!Communication with our host was outstanding. She was super friendly and helpful and we were able to check in early. Even after our stay when we realized we had left something in the condo, Jacy responded quickly and helped us to get our belongings back. Thank you so much!Would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect. The grounds were well kept. Showere pressure was slightly weak. I could smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom coming from somewhere. This unit did not have a bathroom vanity. The kitchen did not have a stove. Coffee on the porch in the morning was divine.

Quiter than expected, tasteful decor, clean, comfotable bed and nice linens. Laundry room on the opposite side of the complex is a little sketchy but worked fine except change machine was broken. The little porch and birds sining was lovely. We expected noise from the pool and there was none. Parking can be hit or miss.

Lovely grounds and pool. Studio worked well for what we were looking for: a shower and quiet place to sleep. Kitchenette sink doubles as bathroom sink, since no sink in bathroom. Limited parking in the evening, so had to street park a couple buildings down a few nights. In front of the complex (across the street) was a homeless hangout that,we avoided after dark..

We had an excellent stay at Jacinta’s condo. Located at a perfect spot in central Kona, we could go anywhere by foot. Complete amenities and a parking spot right at the complex. Jacinta wasa great host and very responsive to any questions. We’d come back anytime in the future !!

This is a lovely quaint studio that has maximized space. While a little older, it was very clean and had everything we needed, including AC. No WD in the unit, but available on site. The host was so incredibly responsive, friendly, and communicative with our questions. Can’t beat the location!

The room was nothing fancy, but met all of our needs. Like other reviews stated, the kitchen sink was used as a bathroom sink for makeup, hair styling, brushing teeth… there was a mirror. But that didn’t bother us. Otherwise, all other supplies for living in this room for the week we were there, were great! There is a kitchenette with all necessary items. The grounds were beautiful with flowers and banana trees. We used the pool and it too, was clean and surrounded with lush greens. Lastly, this facility is at a great location! I walked up and down Ali’i street numerous times and this location was very accessible to restaurants, shopping, and beaches across the street. Overall, we all agreed we would stay there again if we plan another visit. Communication was well done too. We enjoyed this room and location.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night before meeting more family in Waikoloa. It was the perfect location in Kona - easy walk to a bunch of restaurants, bars, downtown Kona attractions.
The overall description of the unit was pretty accurate - just very sparse in terms of amenities. Our main gripe with that was the lack of beach/pool towels. If they were there we couldn’t find them so we had to use the spare bath towel for the two of us.
The main reason we gave this a fairly poor review was the check in process. I’ll keep it short by saying I was so frustrated by the time we got into the unit I was seething. The lack of proper communication from the owner was astounding - for a period both my husband and I were considering that we had been scammed. But, eventually we got it and after that point everything was fine.

I started at this property for 13 nights. The size of the studio is perfect for one person, containing everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a generous kitchenette and fridge-freezer.
The location is very convenient - right at the heart of Kailua, with restaurants, shopping, the farmers market, waterfront, and Kailua Pier all in easy walking distance.
The condo is surprisingly quiet, given its location right on Ali'i Drive.
And easy access to the pool and hot tub was the "icing on the cake" - a perfect way to round off each day.
The host, Jacinta, was clear, timely, and helpful in all her communications, and quick to respond to any questions. I would happily stay here again.

We only stayed for one night, but the unit was clean and comfortable. The lanai was pleasant. Unfortunately, we discovered at 6am that there was no hot water in the shower, and we were headed to the airport so there was no chance to address the issue.

My 17-year-old daughter and I had a wonderful night stay after a long day of airline travels. We arrived late, after 10pm, so it was just a quick stay for us, but if I am ever staying longer in Kona, I would definitely stay here again. The owner responded immediately when I called her late at night because I couldn’t open the door. It was completely my fault because I was trying to open the outside lockbox instead of the keypad on the door. I felt like very silly to realize my error, but Jacinta was so sweet. The room was perfect, with a beautiful view of the courtyard and quiet atmosphere. Just a wonderful beginning to our vacation on the big island. I highly recommend this property!!!

This is a decent place for a decent price. However, it's worn. The sliding glass door requires a young weight lifter to open. The kitchen floor needs replacement.
The worst thing for us was the plastic mattress cover which made you sweat and stick to the sheets all night, even though the temperature was in the room was comfortable.
Plastic mattress covers are rude!

Jacinta's place made for a wonderful stay in Kona. Although it's a small studio, it had everything we needed to be comfortable. It had a clean bed, kitchenette, bathroom with a shower, and an outdoor balcony with table and chairs. The location is close to everything in Kona. You can easily walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We would recommend staying here.

Great location, right at the ‘village’/waterfront of Kailua-Kona town. Easy walking everywhere. Good communication with owner. Lower rate for HI. Bed comfortable, but close to walls. Good to have fridge, microwave and hot plate* (*instructions to put pot on element first would have been helpful). Fridge set too high at 5, but, still froze items at 4. Photos on VRBO site show chairs not present, also mentions dining for four…not there…a low coffee table at a futon and a folding plastic chair at desk only. The complex Property Management need to keep up with maintenance. ‘Porch’ light at door to condo was out entire stay, difficult to see keypad behind screen door on arrival. Visible lockbox on wall added confusion. Some basic kitchen items lacking, but were promptly supplied upon request. No beach/pool towels. Note the bathroom, as mentioned has only a nice modern shower and toilet, all bathroom sink ‘work’ must be done at kitchen sink with ‘vanity’ the kitchen counter. No mirror except in living room. Cleaning supplies lacking. Bathroom spray bottle broken. Only Swiffer cloth already had someone else’s dirt on it. Floors needed a wash. Only a two person room if sleeping in same bed. Futon not a bed!
Overall, this unit was adequate, possibly great, depending on your standards. I would actually consider staying again, but, just knowing ahead of time what I know now. Owner was very responsive and accommodating, even offered a rep to come by to check on my needs. Mahalo!

Location is great!! Condo is clean but there were teeny tiny little dark bugs crawling everywhere. I think they night be very small ants?? Bathroom is sufficient but minimal, as there is no sink or vanity. The only sink is the kitchen sink. There is no dish towel or sponge or even a dish drainer so I suppose were to leave our dirty dishes rinsed & in the sink??
There are a few beach items for guests to use in the hall closet which is a nice touch!! A couple beach towels offered for use would also be an excellent thing too. A small thing if coffee for guests to start off their stay would also be a nice touch. Tv & ceiling fan/light were inoperable but not a big deal. All & all, we were happy with our stay here!

We liked the peaceful deck, beautiful jungly landscaping of the complex, and front locking screen door so you can have two screens for a breeze and avoid using A/C. The unit is lightly upgraded including a nice shower.

Not even a complimentary tea bag. don't plan on arriving even 1 minute early. our stay was for less than 24 hours and we were ready to leave. no view. balcony door must weigh 500 lbs. off very busy road. I felt this VRBO was misrepresented by advertisement. Lots of rules...no aloha spirit.

This place was in the perfect location. right in the middle of everything.
Very nice place to stay, the only suggestion I would have is that the bathroom situation was a bit difficult.
There was no vanity in the bathroom and you need to use the kitchen sink to wash your hands, shave or anything like that. also, there was no mirror above the kitchen sink, so that made it all the more difficult.
But, I would stay there again

I can’t stress enough how perfectly situated this unit is to the center of Kona. Jacinta was also a dream to rent from, responded quickly when we had questions and the unit was clean and the property was lush and wonderful… having an included parking space was a huge plus as the parking stalls throughout downtown Kona are expensive to park, and again the LOCATION was within walking distance to everything. Mahalo for allowing us to enjoy your space.

Overall: very basic but pretty affordable compared to others along Alii Drive.
Pros:
* Affordable and close to the ocean
* Comfy bed and pillows
* Decent A/C
* Clothes drying rack on the lanai
* Quite a few hangers and hanging “shelf” in the closet
* Well maintained grounds/gardens, nice walk to the beach and Alii Drive
* Close to lots of shops, restaurants, etc. within walking distance
Cons:
* Big gap under the front door (like an inch, wasn’t an issue because there was also a screen door, but kinda weird)
* Bathroom “door” is a janky accordion partition
* Couch isn’t comfy and the chairs pictured weren’t there, only one plastic folding chair, we ended up bringing the patio chairs in to sit on
* No dishwasher and no drying rack and only one kitchen towel (we used a bathroom hand towel as a dish drying mat)
* Very little beach gear (there was a cooler and one snorkel), not even beach towels. We purchased 2 beach towels and 2 beach chairs and left them for the next renters.
* Parking lot was under construction, so only one entrance was open and there’s not always enough parking (we had to park on the street once).

The aparteme t was perfect for a stay of two people in Kona. There is a lot of space, possibility for doing laundry and the apartement is very comfortable. For us it was perfect.
