Kamaole Beach Park III, located just across South Kihei Road, is one of South Maui’s best swimming, snorkeling, and sunning beaches. This luxurious and extra-spacious condo showcases a lovely view. Strolling the grounds of this low-rise property, you'll discover tropical gardens, two pools (the lower pool is heated), a pool spa, tennis courts, and barbecue areas. Comfortably and elegantly furnished, this home provides many perks that include free high-speed WiFi, free cable TV, a DVD player, a washer/dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen. (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We love the grounds and pools at Maui Kamaole. This unit in particular was not as well stocked or taken care of as some of the other units we've stayed in in the past at Maui Kamaole. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable for our 15 year old son and Vacasa told us the owner wouldn't be happy if they bought a piece of memory foam because then they would have to charge the owner for it. Wow, talk about wanting your guests to be comfortable for their stay! The coffeemaker and toaster are of the cheapest quality possible. The dryer would take hours to dry towels unfortunately. The fridge water filter was lit up that it needed changing but again -Vacasa did not address this when I brought it to their attention. Carpets and furniture in the unit are worn, pillows on the beds are not high quality. The kitchen and bathrooms were nicely updated. While there are some beach chairs and miscellaneous equipment in the lanai closet, it is in poor shape and much of it needs to be replaced or at the very least cleaned up and organized - not sure who's job this would be but certainly not the guests. We were able to get a late check out for a fee and I was able to get more dishwasher tabs upon request. Overall, while I love the Maui Kamaole complex, I cannot give this unit a high review due to the above mentioned issues. We have had much better experiences in the past staying in units where you are dealing with the owner directly and where the owner is wanting the guests to have the best stay possible.

Our stay started off a bit rough as the cleaning staff was delayed by new carpet installation and we had to deal with damp towels and sheets upon arrival. Vacasa was good to deal with and did compensate us for the fact that we had to dry sheets and remake all beds! They were also quick to deal with an air conditioner issue. The unit itself was good. Nice location and good parking spot. Outdoor furniture was great (there are two loungers as well as a table and chairs). The sofa bed was older and very uncomfortable, would really only suite kids. Kitchen was a bit of a mishmash of utensils and older knives etc. Great showers, both bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms which was perfect for us. Comfortable beds and nice clean new carpet!! They also supplied beach towels and a basketball which we appreciated. Beach chairs would be a great addition. Overall we had a very comfortable and super fun stay!

The condo was great! Beds were comfy and the Kitchen was nice and had everything we needed. The main detail that needs improving is to have some quality beach chairs and boogie boards available for the renters. That would be appreciated.

Absolutely wonderful unit, outstanding hosts, and a really nice location in Kihei, at the southern end. Very flexible location, good for families, couples, etc. Two pools in this complex, and a very short walk to the Kamaole beaches - which are good for everyone from small kids to adults, all in just a few hundred yards. the boat launch is also very close - excellent if you book a Molokini snorkeling trip (NOTE - book those trips well ahead of your arrival, at least as of August 2021). Easy walking distance to the South Kehei shops, restaurants, but far enough away where you have some peace of mind. Gorgeous sunset views from either the balcony or just right outside on the lawn across the street. Will absolutely visit this property again!

This unit’s location is great. It’s at the front of the complex with partial ocean views and you hear the birds in the treetops every morning! It’s our second stay in this same unit because of the ideal locale!
