1 House from Kailua Beach (Private beach gate is located adjacent to our property and the house is less than 350 feet to the beach).
In accordance with City and County of Honolulu ordinances, this property is rented for periods of no less than 30 consecutive days. Minimum booking we accept is 10-13 nights depending on season and nightly rate reflects stays of up to 14 nights. Please inquire prior to booking for seasonal discounts on stays of 14-21 nights or longer.
JUNE 24 UPDATE ANNOUNCING NEW PRE-TRAVEL TESTING PROGRAM: Beginning September 1, all travelers arriving in Hawaii from out-of-state will be required to get a valid COVID-19 test within 72 hours of their trip, and to show proof of a negative test result at the airport, to avoid the 14-day quarantine. The FDA-approved PCR test from a CLIA-certified laboratory will need to be done prior to arrival. No testing will be provided upon arrival at the airport. Amazing Kailua Beach House is not accepting any bookings for ANY guests who do not have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival into HNL. Per the Governor's emergency orders, these travelers MUST undergo 14-day quarantine at a HOTEL ONLY.
Our Amazing Kailua Beach House is a casual and relaxed beach house in the quiet Beachside neighborhood in Kailua, located on a private street, 1 house from white, sandy Kailua beach. Our central Kailua Beach location allows access to a mile of Dr. Beach's No. 1 US-rated beach in each direction. The two-story house has beautiful mauka (mountain) and makai (ocean) views. It's equipped with many extra amenities not commonly found in homes of this price range such as:
-Air conditioning: Quiet ductless A/C in all 4 bedrooms
-GAME ROOM: with FOOSBALL and AIR HOCKEY. Video games and large variety of board and card games. Convenient wet bar for easy access to hot popcorn and snacks
-BABY READY: Pack-n-Play with mattress and linens, bed rails, baby gate system, booster chair, high chair, infant bath tub, baby monitor.
-Modern open kitchen with Kitchenaid refrigerator (new Sept 2019), Viking dual fuel (gas top and electric oven) range and quartz counters
-Kitchen is fully-equipped with coffee maker & coffee grinder, rice cooker, pots and pans, Vitamix blender, electric griddler for pancakes, electric waffle maker, and so much more!
-Ample supply of dishes and utensils (30 sets of each) for large groups

With 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, plus a family/game room, this remodeled 'beach-chic' family-friendly property has a large swimming pool and game room providing a fun play area for kids of all ages. Extensive remodel, inside and out, was completed Summer 2017 including new furniture, high speed wireless internet, flat screen HDTVs, hardwood and natural stone flooring, air conditioned bedrooms, brand new kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms.
There are 2 large furnished patios, one upstairs with a beautiful mauka (mountain) view perfect for breakfasts and star gazing at night and one downstairs outside the game room/family room, and one deck upstairs with makai (ocean) views to enjoy the cool ocean breeze.
Please be aware that Amazing Kailua Beach House sits on a sand dune above the street, so in addition to it being a 2-story house with stairs, there are also 10 steps to get to the main house from the street or garage. Also, bedroom #4 is a private suite and while it is attached to the main house, it can ONLY be accessed through an exterior breezeway entrance which may not be ideal for younger children.
Swimming pool has a white vinyl fence that fully encloses the pool, separating it from the house. There are 2 convenient gates into the pool area, one gate allowing access from the house/yard and one gate for access when coming in from the beach.

Discover Kailua, a small beach town located 20 minutes from Honolulu and Waikiki, where flip flops, sand between your toes, and surf attire are common-place. Less than 3 minutes away is a 24-hour Safeway grocery store, small, local coffee shop, a few restaurants. The main retail center of Kailua is located under 2 miles away from Amazing Kailua Beach House, where you will find a variety of shops, coffee, and dining options, as well as twice weekly farmers markets, public tennis courts, basketball courts, and bicycle and surfboard rentals. Lanikai Beach and the beautiful Mokulua Islands are less than 3 miles away.

-Maximum occupancy is 8 adult guests, or 10 guests total including children 3 years of age and over. (Children under the age of 3 are always welcome!) $20/pp per night extra guest fee for all groups of more than 8 people, including infants and toddlers. Please review bedding arrangements described above.
-Amazing Kailua Beach House is a casual and relaxed beach house, not to be confused with or compared to a luxury home, and we would never represent it as such. It is clean, quiet, tastefully furnished, and well-equipped. It is located in a residential beach neighborhood, so please be sure that everyone in your travel group is made aware of this so that everyone has an Amazing time.
Amazing Kailua Beach House is located at the end of a narrow private road and there is no on-street parking allowed. All guest vehicles must park on-property only. There is space for 4 vehicles to park on-property, 2 standard sized vehicles inside the garage and 2 tandem outside the garage. Note that the garage ceiling clearance is 6'-2".
QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 10PM-8AM: Our Amazing Kailua Beach House is located in a residential neighborhood and guests must be aware and respectful of neighboring properties at all times. Noise carries at night and although the Amazing Kailua Beach House guests are on vacation, our neighbors are not, therefore ALL outdoor activities, including outdoor conversations, must be brought inside the home by 10pm. Please be sure that ALL the members of your group are aware of the quiet hours and will be able to comply BEFORE booking this property. We want you to have a fantastic and Amazing time in Kailua - we promise we won't impose many rules on you at all, but the quiet hours restriction is one of the very few!
-NO SMOKING: Please be aware that smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not allowed anywhere on the Amazing Kailua Beach House property.
-GROUP GATHERING RESTRICTIONS: Are you part of a larger group all visiting Oahu at the same time? Have friends and/or family living or staying on Oahu? Visiting Oahu for a wedding or reunion? Please make other arrangements for activities and gatherings at locations elsewhere. This property is restricted to a maximum of 10 registered guests only. Non-registered guests are NOT allowed on property at any time.
***PLEASE NOTE*** Any group that includes someone getting married on Oahu, groups coming to attend a wedding on Oahu, or groups renting more than 1 property on Oahu must disclose this to us and must receive pre-approval from us BEFORE booking as we are normally unable to offer the Amazing Kailua Beach House to these type of groups.
