Kekaha Beach Bungalow

In the interest of your health, safety and comfort, we have made some major changes. We want to make sure that when you come to Kauai, you think about your vacation, and your fun, NOT Covid 19! We've eliminated all the "extra" decorations so that cleaning can be more thorough.
This will truly be your home away from home vacation! If you like the idea of staying in a private home, in a residential neighborhood where you don't have to wait in line for the barbecue or picnic table, this is for you! It takes less than two minutes to walk to the beach and a look at Niihau and the beautiful white sands of McArther Beach park. Imagine being lulled to sleep by the sound of breaking waves, it's amazing! If you want to experience true Hawaiian living, this is it! Clean, 50's style beach house super close to the beach! We have three bedrooms, a full, large, just renovated bathroom, with a tub/shower combo, in the house and new, summer of 2017 a second bathroom per many requests! We've added a bathroom in the laundry room, and then there is the upgraded outdoor shower! You can use the outside shower for everyday use, or just after a trip to the beach! Come and enjoy the very private hedge bordered yard, all to yourselves! Barbecue area, patio chairs, lighted eating area just for you and your family!
We have beach chairs, towels, surfboard and boogie boards all for your use! We also keep our two beach cruiser bikes available! Take a spin along the beach and catch one of our amazing sunsets!
We have two parks with lawns, basketball courts, jungle gym, swing set, and views of the ocean within two blocks of our house in opposite directions. Take your pick and try them both out! It's a great place to play for kids when they want to get out and run!

Just an FYI: The Bungalow is in the official Tsunami evacuation area. At the house there is a map with the evacuation route. (This has never happened before, so it isn't likely, just for safety's sake!)

Have fun!
We limit occupancy to 6. We can't run the risk of overwhelming the septic system.
No dogs allowed, even if they live on island, except registered service dogs.
Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am.
Please do your dishes before you leave, and put the trash in the can outside.

FYI: Our Bungalow is located in a tsunami evacuation zone. Never fear, when you arrive, there is a map with an evacuation route if that becomes necessary. (which is extraordinarily rare!).
