Waimea Canyon is Hawaii's version of the Grand Canyon although considerably smaller and much more colorful. The canyon is roughly 10 miles long and 3,600 feet deep. Kokee State Park offers many outstanding hikes, but its best to consult a guide book to decide which hike will be most suitable and appealing.
