Zipline Tours

Zipline tours are a fairly recent addition to the list of Kauai's spectacular activities. Kauai zipline tours are also among the most popular. Some zipline tours on Kauai zoom across huge spans of canyons or bluffs and some glide from tree to tree through the tops of magnificent pine forests. Zipline tours are exciting activities on Kauai, but are often booked for weeks in advance so be sure to call us early to assure that you will be able to go at the time you want, if at all.

Kauai Air Tours

Air Tours

Air tours of Kauai by fixed-wing aircraft are perhaps the most economical way to see the island from above. These air tours are often half the cost of helicopter flights but see the same areas of the island nonetheless. Though they are not capable of hovering like a helicopter, and hence do not get deep into the valleys to float like a cloud over the waterfalls, they still offer a magnificent view of Kauai that you will remember for years to come.

Kauai Boat Tours and Adventures

Dolphin Excursions

Four species of dolphins are regularly found in the waters around Kauai. They are the Pacific bottlenose dolphin, the Rough-Toothed dolphin, the Spotted dolphin and the Spinner dolphin. It is a rare instance indeed when you do not see dolphins on one of these excursions. You'll enjoy the antics of these ocean comedians as they come out in force to welcome your Kauai dolphin tour.

Whale Watching Tours

The months of December through May are a wonderful time to visit Kauai because the whales are here. These magnificent creatures spend their Winters in the waters off Kauai to breed and to bare their young. Many whale watching tour boats ply the waters off the coast to view these "gentle giants" and these whale watch tours are often the highlight tour of all of the activities taken on Kauai.

Napali Coast Tours

The Napali Coast features many of the Kauai tours and Na Pali Coast tours which include eco tours, Na Pali Coast hikes, a variety of cruises, and kayaking the Napali Coast. There's no doubt about it! The Na Pali coast is simply spectacular. The Napali Coast is isolated from the rest of Kauai by its tremendous and almost impassible cliffs which descend thousands of feet from the mountains above directly into the ocean. This coastline is believed to have been the original home of the first Hawaiians arriving on Kauai. Although the environment with its steep cliffs and often harsh ocean conditions may seem inhospitable, it actually provided very nourishing living conditions. There was plenty of fresh water, the valleys were lush with abundant fruit and plant life which also allowed for a certain degree of cultivation and the ocean waters provided amble quanties of fresh fish and marine life. Small villages were established and thousands of Hawaiians were known to have lived back up in these beautiful valleys.

Niihau Island Coast Tours

Niihau is the smallest island of the seven major islands in the Hawaiian chain is located 18 miles off the coast of Kauai and stretches to 23 miles long and 3 to 6 miles in width. It is a very low lying island raising to a height of only 500 ft and as such draws very little water from passing clouds. Whereas neighboring Kauai has the wettest spot on earth with a rainfall of 420 inches a year the lower Niihau only averages about 12 inches a year. Because of the near drought conditions which have always existed on Niihau it has never been able to sustain a huge population and its population today stands at about 160. The island has been privately owned since the mid eighteen hundreds and almost all of the inhabitants are 100% Hawaiian. Children are raised on the island to speak fluent Hawaiian and in many ways the island of Niihau remains the most Hawaiian island of all. The Robinson family are decedents of Elizabeth Sinclair, who purchased the island from King Kamehameha V in 1864. The Robinson family run a cattle ranch and employ the majority of the population. Hawaiian is still spoken as the primary language and there is no electrical or plumbing infrastructure, the inhabitants preferring to live in the traditional Hawaiian manner.

Kauai sailing, with its sailing boats offering snorkeling trips, snuba adventures, snorkeling from shore, family snorkeling activities and various other tours involving sailing off Kauai are among the most interesting tours that Kauai has to offer.

Kauai helicopter tours are arguably among the best helicopter rides of any in Hawaii. It was no accident that Kauai was the first island to be viewed by helicopter tours. The beauty of its remote valleys, cliffs, waterfalls and ocean vistas is beyond compare and we always recommend a Kauai helicopter tour as the foremost way to see all the wonders that Kauai has to offer. Kauai Sport Fishing

Fishing Charters

People don't always realize the fact that Kauai is a great place to go deep sea fishing. The ocean bottom just off its coast is reminiscent of the coastline off Kona on the Big Island in the sense that it drops off dramatically creating a void for the big fish coming in from the oceans depths. These fishing trips also make great sightseeing tours in that they can visit the coast of Na Pali, the island of Niihau and the coast along Poipu and Lihue.
