Our favorite Condo to rent on Oahu!
The open and very clean unit has a spectacular view
and the location could not be better!

We've worked with him in the past for another unit, but

We traveled to Waikiki with my elderly mother, and while we rented a different unit (#1110), we decided to let her stay there and we stayed in #1316 so she would be more comfortable. The location and view from both condos was incredible and we couldn't have been happier. The properties were both clean and well appointed with necessities like laundry and dish detergent and coffee filters. However there were a number of issues with #1316 that I would like to point out. The pull out sofa would not lay flat (it was about a 15 degree angle when open) and while this was okay for our youngest child, it might not work for some. The furniture was very old and some of it looked like it had been pulled from a dumpster. The bed was incredible uncomfortable and felt like a blanket wrapped around a concrete slab, which for the price of the condo, wasn't what we'd hoped for. Last, little details like the seal around the shower door was broken so the door would not stay shut, and the broken hair dryer, were disappointing for the price point. We borrowed the hair dryer from # 1110. There were hardly any utensils and we were eating off of serving sized spoons, and really the whole condo could use a paint job, with paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. Paul was the property manager and he was very kind and also seemed extremely busy, so we didn't want to bother him with these complaints, but we wanted to let you know so they are hopefully fixed for future guests. Last, I wanted to mention that it was quiet and peaceful until our last 2 nights there, when we ended up with new neighbors above us who sounded like they were rolling around a bowling ball at all hours and below us were people smoking - so we couldn't sit on the balcony without breathing in their smoke, and even with the doors shut it seeped through the walls. I complained to the front desk but we didn't stay long enough after that to find out if it had been resolved. 1110 was overall a much nicer condo.

Check-in went smooth. We called Paul from the airport and he met us in the lobby. Unit was clean and very spacious. We did not stay long enough to do much cooking, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. Coffee pot was a good one and brewed it hot. We brought our own filters and coffee. We picked this unit to be able to walk to drinks and dinners and that was extremely doable. Be sure to stop at Paia Fish Market and Marukame Udon for lunches. We rented a car one day from a convenient location right up the street. Paul was great. View was awesome and fireworks if you are there on a Friday night. Waikiki is very very crowded at night - and if shopping is your thing, you will not be disappointed. I would definitely return to this unit. Only 1 elevator working, but we rarely had to wait very long. If we had been on a lower floor, we would have used the stairs frequently.

This condo is walkable to all of Waikiki shops, restaurants and beaches. We also were able to walk to pick up a rental car for the day, further proving the location cannot be beat. Our only concerns had to do with access to the property. The code for the entry door did not work, but the property contact responded quickly. However, the code continued not to work for a few hours limiting our ability to come and go. And, when it was time to depart, we were unsure what to do with our trash. The directions said to "take it out," but we didn't know where to take it. The property manager never responded to us so we left it.
None of this can undo the wonderful stay at the property. We could see sea turtles swimming in the water from the end of the building, we enjoyed the lanai and watching the sunsets and the property was in excellent condition.

The location and views are pretty good. However, the walls are super thin and we would be woken up everyday by our neighbors parting at 5am… we made multiple requests to the manager but nothing was done. The unit is also extremely bright at night. if you need darkness to sleep, this isn’t the place for you. The beach is also very tiny and packed so you’ll have to walk to find a good spot

To me it is all about the view! In this case, the view came with a wonderful condo. We were on the 13th floor. There was absolutely no noise. 5 stars for that, too.Open floor plan, with a pull out panel to give privacy for the bed.It was my 15 year old grandson and I. Access to the beach, shops, was just steps away. I saw the sun rise and the sun set, every day from the balcony. Paul and Hanna were amazing. Had an awesome stay at this unit! My family and I loved the spaciousness, the views, and the proximity to everything. Unit was clean, modern, with gorgeous views looking to Ala Moana. Most days, we'd trek it up to Waikiki Beach proper (10-12 mins walk along the water), where we'd surf, body surf, hang, and of course have lunch at Duke's. Highly recommend this place. A few tips on what you might want to bring: Bring your own coffee (unit has a maker), your own small cooler for beach days, and keeping drinks cold, a good beach umbrella. Beleive the unit had a beach umbrella but perhaps a small one? It did have beach chairs which was super. Great communication with the property managers too. Mahalo!

This property has the most beautiful view we have ever seen on the islands! And the property itself was absolutely spotless and well equipped! Could use a cookie sheet and/or cake pan but other than that, it had everything we needed for our 9 day stay. Host was very mindful of his guests and very accommodating. It was fine. I already reported the completely broken chair seat on the lanai (A person could get injured if they sat on it and fell through ) and the fact that the coffee filters don’t match the coffee maker, so your coffee is completely full of grounds. Also I think that the pots and pans are quite outdated. Everything else was fine.

My husband and I stayed at the condo for one week in mid-September. Wanting the flexibility of having a living space and a kitchen we chose this condo. The unit is awesome and the view is to die for. We spent every morning on the Lanai watching the rainbows form. It was spectacular. The only downside is the noise inside the unit. The walls are a bit thin but we like sleeping with white noise so it didn’t bother us too much (just mentioning for anyone who needs silence to sleep). The accessibility to the beach is amazing. We spent one day under an umbrella and were able to go back and forth easily as needed. The condo is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We highly recommend and hope to come back someday!

This property is located at the northwest end of Waikiki and the view is spectacular. It is spacious, light, and bright. We loved it's charm and location. It was appointed with all the typical necessities and had plenty of space for our belongings without the unit feeling crowded. Wi-Fi was fast and flawless. It is within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and parks. The VRBO description was accurate.
Initial condo access required a physical meeting with the property manager who provided the access codes. While the property manager arrived shortly after our arrival, it’s not as convenient as showing up with the door codes in hand … no big deal. When the condo was booked, parking was requested. But somehow, the request was missed. The property manager quickly arranged for nearby parking. On the day of departure, our parking pass would not allow us to leave the parking area. A call to the property manager resolved the issue within an hour. Fortunately, we had ample time to arrive at the airport for our flight. Despite the minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

The actual apt was good but they have no rules around noise. The first night we were up until 2am and had to complain to security twice as there was a party upstairs with furniture moving and adults running (by party I mean an actual rave like party). Happened 2 nights and finally had some quiet. Met someone staying in the next condo and they said someone was having a party next door to them as well. Paul, the manager, was super responsive and I think he made the whole stay better.

We liked the location of this Vrbo. Next to Fort Derussy park so you are not looking into other buildings.. beautiful ocean views and sunsets. 2 blocks to one one of our favorite restaurants, Roy’s. ABC store is 3 blocks away so you can buy groceries and just about anything you need there. Right on the beach.
