Could not have dreamed of a more perfect property!! Clean, comfortable and an amazing location right at the water’s edge.
The condo is larger than most VRBO’s that I’ve rented in Hawaii and equipped with all of the amenities that you’d ever need while on vacation.
The check-in/out process with Tom was easy and he and Carol bent over backwards to make sure our stay was comfortable!!
We will definitely be returning to this property!

Family lived in Kona for 20+ years but no longer does so this was our first experience having to rent a place to stay. I am so glad we chose this condo. It could not have been more comfortable for us. It is beautifully decorated and had everything that we could have asked for. 10 days was not long enough. We will be back!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in beautiful Kailua-Kona. The condo has great views of the ocean - sunsets are not to be missed. Property manager Tom was very helpful getting us oriented during check-in. The condo is located next to a number of restaurants and shops along Ali’i Drive. We have so many wonderful memories from the trip. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay in this VERY well appointed and perfectly represented condo, thanks to Carol and Tom! Due to the fires in Maui needing to redirect our visit to Hawaii, we were in last minute need of a place to stay for more than a week. I was able to book this condo and reach out to Carol who responded immediately. She coordinated with Tom, the onsite host, who coordinated with housekeeping and the 3 made it happen for us to be able to arrive the very next day.
Weary from change and now needing to plan our vacation as we go, the one thing I didn’t need to think about was the condo or anything in it! Anything you need and a few surprises (thank you, Carol & Tom) were all there. I knew the location of the building before booking as I had visited the area before, and it could not be more centrally located! We walked to everything in town and had easy in-and-out parking for our other excursions. With being so centrally located on the main Kona strip comes some noise, but it didn’t bother us at all. We could sit on the lanai and listen to the music being played at nearby restaurants and enjoy our much more reasonably priced meal with the same view. The bedroom is away from the street, so the only thing you hear is people coming and going to their condos. Most people were very respectful and quiet as they passed as they are reminded with building notes in the elevator.
Tom asked if I would recommend the place to others… “Only at times I don’t want to be there myself!!”

I can’t say enough about this condo. Clean, updated, comfortable, excellent location, and on and on. The condo is very well stocked. It has all you will need. The on-site manager (Tom) was excellent. We spent three incredible weeks here. I’ve never had such a well provisioned condo. We spent many hours out on the lanai watching sunsets, dolphins, canoe-ers, and Kona life going by. It is such a great location!

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The view was amazing and location was so convenient to shops, restaurants and the ocean. Market was only a couple blocks away. The condo was stocked with paper products, soaps, lotions... which was very helpful, too. Onsite manager was very helpful and resourceful. Would stay here again!

This is a lovely apartment in a very quiet building. Right on the Main Street of Kailua, it is a short walk to all restaurants and shops. The patio doors open to the view and sounds of the ocean. Note that there are many rules in this condo complex that make for a quiet and pleasant stay. This is NOT the place for you if you like your music loud or to have noisy get together. But it’s a good home base for a single or a couple. Pics are exactly on point. Know that there are two bathrooms, both have very limited counter space. Washer and dryer work great. Lots of supplies including beach chairs and towels. Yes there is a hairdryer! Lovely kitchen. Great wifi and TV. Comfy couch and decent bed. Very close to grocery and pharmacy, etc. super easy from airport and to routes around the island. Covered parking for free is a bonus. Key access to elevators makes for good security. Lastly, Tom, the manager is a gem. Friendly, accessible, informative. Thanks, Tom!

I’ve stayed in many condos. None were as well appointed as this one. One look around and the guest immediately feels the generosity of the owner. The cupboard is stocked with spices and treats that make the first day fun. The baths are the same way……stocked with generous supplies of paper products, sunscreen, shampoos etc. Everywhere I look my needs are anticipated and supplied.
A good night’s sleep is very important. The new mattress was perfect.
The weather was cool so I didn’t use the air conditioner but I chose a condo with available air….just in case!
There is not a better property manager anywhere. He is there for your every need. Living on site, he makes himself available to the guest.

We had the best view of spinner dolphins jumping and whales breaching! The sunsets were the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in awhile. We were right in the heart of Kona so could walk to a new restaurant everyday and try out the food. Love, love, loved it!

This unit is in the perfect place to enjoy a stay in Kailua. Everything is in walking distance and restaurants are all around. Pictures are accurate. Everything you need is there to use down to the snorkel gear, body boards, lawn chairs, sand toys, and pool noodles! Manager Tom is wonderful. There's air conditioning, but we only closed the lanai doors once to use it. People watching from the lanai is fun. I highly recommend this condo.

The property is just like the photos. The view from the lanai is unbeatable. The unit is extremely well stocked with shampoos, detergent, towels, etc. We brought all our own, so if you are staying don’t pack all the extra items. All restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. Beautiful location .

This property has everything you could possibly need on vacation and then some. Fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels and blankets, lots of toys to take to the beach, we especially appreciated the snorkel gear!

There are no words….truly! This condo is everything you need and more. Centrally located in the heart of downtown Kona. Within walking distance to restaurants/stores. The view is amazing and the condo itself is well kept and spacious. It had all the things needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and basic supplies. The covered parking is a plus! Carol, the owner, is very communicative and Tom, her on site manager, is great! This was a very sentimental trip for me and it soothed my soul, and it will yours too! Our 3rd stay here. That should say it all but will add a few comments. Great location, view and well cared for unit. Tom, the property manager is of great help during the check-in process and is readily available if needed. A couple of suggestions. The sofa sleeper should be replaced or at least the mattress. Was ok when our kids were younger but not so much for bigger kids or adults. Also a Keurig coffe maker would be nice.

We spent 9 nites in this beautiful, well appointed fourth floor condo, with a spectacular view of the Pacific. Condo is just as presented in the VRBO description and photos. Very comforting to have Tom Pulling as the onsite manager, he gave us a very helpful orientation. We stayed in another unit in this building in 2020, this one is far superior. Offsite highlights include the beautiful Kua Bay/Manini'owali beach, a few miles north of the airport. Book this now!

We loved the view, watching dolphins, whales and people! Great location, nice and close to lots of restaurants and shops and shave ice! Easy access to grocery stores and to the main roads to the other parts of this fabulous Island. And Tom, the property manager, was great. Good communication prior to arriving, and he was there to greet us in person when we first arrived, even though it was midnight! We would definitely come here again! I love a property that is located in a quiet, yet walkable, neighborhood!
This condo not only has an amazing view, but is easily located to many restaurants and bars, and of course your local ABC store. The ocean is right across the street and the pool is located in your backyard!
The condo itself has everything you need for your vacation. No need to pack beach towels, chairs, or buy a styrofoam ice chest, everything is there for you to use. As a home “chef”, I found that the kitchen was perfectly stocked for those quick/on-the-go meals. As we were there for 12 days, the washer and dryer was a must! And, the bed in the bedroom was extremely comfortable!!
This was the perfect location and “home” for our extended stay. There is no doubt….we will be back!

What a fantastic time we had staying at this beautiful condo. Our days were mostly spent hiking and hanging at various beaches, but the time we spent in the condo was truly relaxing and comfortable. The view from the condo is spectacular, but what we enjoyed most was sitting on the lanai drinking coffee in the morning and having a cocktail in the evening. The sound of the waves and the cooling trade winds were just heaven. Side note, but noteworthy… the bed was super comfortable and the appliances were top notch (especially the Cuisinart coffee maker)! Everything about this stay was easy and wonderful, including the on site mgr, Tom, and the responsiveness of the owner, Carol. We will stay here again. Mahalo.

We can't say enough good things about our VRBO experience. The booking was easy and the site manager provided all the details we needed upon arrival. The condo was spacious, clean, and wonderfully equipped. There was literally nothing we needed that wasn't there. Extra towels, beach towels, beach chairs, and even a complimentary bag of Kona coffee beans. It was a pleasure to call this condo our home during our trip to Kona. The view was perfect for watching ocean waves crash on the shore, evening sunsets, rainbows, and of course, people along the popular strip. Great location for restaurants and shops and even came with a parking space for our rental. We highly recommend this condo for anyone staying in Kona. Owner and site manager clearly care about making this a great place to stay for their guests.

We very much enjoyed our stay here and was the perfect size. Was very clean and updated. Bed was very comfortable. Fans were more than enough to keep us cool with the doors open on the lanai. Beautiful sunsets, whale and dolphin watching. The place had everything we needed for our stay including the Wonderful extras of the beach chairs, snorkel gear and umbrella. The pool was great size and warmed up towards the end of our stay. It was very nice to have the grills and not have to worry about propane. It was a perfect location to walk to everything.

We had an amazing stay! So clean and beautiful views! Right in the middle of a lot of walking locations and the noise level at night was not bad at all. Only thing we had encountered when on the patio was a large amount of vagrance right in front of our condo and the police tried to fix that towards the end of trip, but overall one of the best VRBO stays we have had and will be back to that same one again! We had a wonderful week and this condo is perfect if you want somewhere to relax and enjoy the ocean breezes and lovely view. The building was quiet and the lanai was perfect. We didn't close the glass doors once in 8 days after we arrived and had breakfast every morning on the lanai, which is much bigger than the pictures seem to indicate. Unfortunately our weather was quite cloudy and hazy for the week so we only got one sunset, but the lanai is perfect for a sunset. It was only the two of us so we didn't really use the 2nd bathroom, but that would be perfect if you had a kid on the pull-out couch. The master bed was quite comfortable. We did use the A/C at night in the bedroom only with the door closed because we're used to sleeping cold (from Alaska) but if you're from the lower 48 you probably won't ever need it.
The beach chairs and towels and snorkeling gear were great to have. There's also a cooler, and a cooler bag we used more often as we hiked to several harder to reach beaches.
The location is Kona is perfect if you want to walk everywhere. It's 5 minutes down to the market to get fresh fruit on the cheap. Alii drive is busy but the unit is on the 4th floor so the noise isn't too bad, and you definitely can't hear it at night in the bedroom. Someone sleeping on the sofa might be a tiny bit bothered if they're a light sleeper. The street quiets down at night pretty well. We didn't use the pool or the bbq so I can't comment on that but the washer/dryer and everything in the kitchen works great. It's pretty well stocked, which was nice as we ate in quite a bit. We'll likely go further North next time as we're foodies and want better restaurant choices, but for a first trip to the Kona coast (for me, 5th for my partner), this was perfect condo. Highly recommend.

This apartment really has everything that you could ask for. It is laid out and furnished in a way that maximizes all of the space and the owner really did anticipate a renters every need. I cannot think of anything that wasn't available for use during our stay. The building is very secure with a key entry elevator and limited access to pedestrians after hours. While the complex itself appeared very quiet, I think the only real drawback (not at all the owners fault) is the noise from the ocean. While I normally enjoy the sound of crashing waves, during our stay there were some storms and the noise level from the ocean was definitely heightened. Because this apartment provided so many other amenities, walking distance to everything, million dollar views, wonderful furnishings, added safety measures, etc., excess noise from the ocean is definitely not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind.

-close to everything on Ali’i Drive which has numerous bars/restaurants
-the condo is fully equipped with many unexpected extras (beach chairs, boogie boards, kitchen items)
-the view is wonderful and the sunsets are amazing
Con’s
-had to pay extra for the AC and it could barely cool the place. It was very humid during our stay and for us, AC was a must. Hint - closing the bedroom door will at least keep this room tolerable for sleeping
-the AC ventilation fan is located on the deck which makes sitting out on the deck quite hot if there is no breeze. Many other condos in the building have fans on the deck and I can see why
-I’ve stayed in quite a few VRBO’s and I’ve never seen check out rules like this place. Make sure you read it and know what you’re to do or there will be a penalty to be paid (like we had to)
-there is a pool, but it’s not heated so nobody uses it
-major work was being done directly in front of the building . There was jackhammering every day we stayed there

The bed was comfortable which is really important. I loved hearing the ocean. Awesome view. Only needed the AC about 2 days and that was mainly to keep the baby from trying to go out on the balcony.
Cross ventilation and ceiling fans keep it cooled off. It was great being able to do laundry also!
I come to Hawaii once a year to see my grandchildren and I definitely recommend unit 404 it was a lot like home.
