Hale Maluhia is a one-of-a-kind beachfront home on Hanalei Bay and is perfect for honeymooners or a small party looking for a luxurious getaway. This is a fabulous home is located on Hanalei Bay and is privately gated. The Saturday morning farmers and fresh produce market is just a few blocks away.The house is fully equipped with upscale furnishings and amenities. Master bedroom with king bed has garden views, flat screen TV with cable and stereo. The master bath has shower/jacuzzi tub. The living area offers a queen punee bed for additional sleeping arrangements or lounging area. Off of the living area is a very small bedroom with twin size bed and half bath. The manicured gardens is very private. Gas lined tiki torches and garden gazebo encourage outdoor entertaining and dining.

This home is located on the end of the bay near the surf spot Pinetrees. Hanalei town is just a short five to ten minute walk. The Saturday morning farmers and fresh produce market is just a few blocks away.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house. It's one of the few beachfront rentals in Hanalei that works best for a couple or small group. The back yard is lovely and peaceful. The gazebo is the perfect perch for hanging out in the rain or sun. The one ding to this place is the lack of privacy with the neighboring house to the right. The two yards are completely open. Continuing the landscaping that starts at the outdoor shower onward towards the beach would create a more private feel for both houses. Hawaii Life was easy and professional to work with. We will be back.

This place is as good as the photos look, we loved our stay here. The location is great a short stroll across the sand to the beach and a short drive into town. The property was clean and very well provided for. The views of the mountains behind the house are breathtaking. I hope to be back.

Charming house steps from Hanalei Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love stay here again. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of beach equipment-toys, chairs, umbrella and more.

Great place for 1-4 people/family. Technically there are 3 beds; 1 adult BR, 1 smaller BR for 1 and the living room can also sleep 1. Very clean place, kudos to cleaning crew. We never felt cramped as the back yard really opens up the space. Steps to a couple volleyball courts and then the beach. Summer brings kind of rolling clouds/showers, never really bothered us or got too heavy. There was supposed to be steady rain the following week, which might have put a damper on some stays as it’s not a very large house if you’re stuck inside. AC was great, kitchen got the job done, did fair amount of grilling. Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot. It’s not cheap, but the location and property really worked for our family of 4. Lots of beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, etc.

The location was an excellent spot from which to launch our Kauai adventures. We loved the open main room and the doors that open to the outside. The beach was fantastic. That being said, two adjustments must be made to the property. 1) the water pressure in the indoor shower is awful. 2) the outdoor shower should have a door or half door or otherwise be constructed in a more private manner. Despite those small complaints, I highly recommend this home for a small family or couple.

Clean, uncluttered, zen-like interior with quality fixtures, amenities, and appliances. View of both mountains and ocean. Beautiful multi-colored birds. Gazebo for sunset cocktails. And our favorite--the outdoor shower. Management was incredibly responsive and friendly. Truly a peaceful, rich Kauai experience.
