We loved our stay at this beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The grounds are quite spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. Well located close to town. Our only criticism is the barbecue was useable for our needs. Other than that we would definitely stay here again.

We traveled to support an Ironman athlete who was competing at Kailua-Kona for the first time. We were able to see the swim from a distance from a neighboring hillside street. The end of the bike loop was at the gated neighborhood entrance, and we could walk down to Ali’i Drive to watch the runners go by twice. Perfect location for the event without staying in the downtown craziness. We enjoyed the quiet and peace of the surroundings.
The property was beautiful and well-maintained, and we really enjoyed eating breakfast and watching the sunsets from the lanai. The pool is large, and there are lots of floaties and pool games and toys. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, appliances, and some essential spices. There were also beach chairs, coolers, and some sun hats, goggles, etc. for guest use.

This home was amazing! We loved the pool and the pristine landscaping. The house was perfect. Bedrooms, Bathrooms, kitchen, lanai. All were as pictured, well stocked, comfortable and stunning. Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful home. Our week on the Big Island was stellar.

Our stay at the Hawaiian Honu House in Kona was over the top. The house was in a beautiful and conveniently located gated community. The house itself was very clean, well maintained and well equipped. I particularly appreciated all of the additional amenities that were not explicitly guaranteed such as pool toys, beach chairs/toys, coffee grinder, K-cup brewer, extra cleaning supplies/trash bags and an excellent stock of kitchen utensils, cooking utensils and cutlery. The pool was immaculate and the water quality was perfect. The beds were comfortable. There was a generous supply of towels both for the two baths and for the pool. As an added bonus, we had access to the Kona Concierge, who was very helpful with booking tours and with general information before and during our stay. Finally the staff at Kona Coast Vacations was very easy to work with, accommodating and extended a sincere Aloha spirit. We were in the house for two weeks and it really took our Hawaiian vacation to the next level. Thank you, Kona Coast Vacations!

We joined our son and his family for their Spring Break in Kailua-Kona for a week. The house was wonderful - it was clean, well-equipped, comfortable and in a great location! David, the concierge, was really helpful and aanswered any questions promptly. The pool was big and there were toys, floaties, etc that entertained our grand children for hours!

The property was perfectly situation to explore Kona and the big island. It was clean, spacious, and even better than as seen in the photographs. It was everything we needed in a rental home and we look forward to returning.

During our time on the island, we stayed at 3 rental homes, starting with this home, a home in Hilo and a resort north of the airport. This home rated the highest among all of our family members. Our two 18 year olds rated it a 10/10.
The home was very well equipped (kitchen, bath and helpful items for beach trips) and we appreciated the small gift bag that included local Kona coffee and island honey, as well as some other tasty items.
The back yard was wonderful with lush landscaping, a hammock, and beautiful pool. The sunsets were amazing from the backyard and there was often a nice breeze coming from the ocean, which was within eye-site.
I would consider the cost to be very high, but if this house is within your budget, you will not be disappointed. We would definitely rent this house again.

This property made out first trip to the big island perfect! The house was so spacious and beautiful; from the magnificent pool to the views of the ocean. The house was beautifully decorated and fulfilled all of our needs! Neighbors were so welcoming and helpful - two even brought us fresh papayas and apple bananas from their gardens. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home, lovely backyard, great view, fantastic pool, wonderful lanai. Really good location. Floor plan is great to have primary bedroom on one side of the house and the other bedrooms on the far side. Did I mention the lanai/backyard and pool are amazing? We had one issue with the AC but I was able to resolve it myself. the call service tried to resolve but the property management did not resolve the issue.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the pool was great and nice sized for actual swimming, the house was really clean and beautifully set up, and the view of the ocean beautiful (albeit in the distance.) The only complaint I have is about the AC which in the master bedroom was freezing and in the kitchen really hot (guest room was good!) I wont deduct a star since it did work and the service was great at responding.

Quiet neighborhood allowed for a peaceful trip. The pool was great for escaping the heat. The location was ideal for being away from the crowds while close enough to the stores and shops to get what we needed.

We had the best time at this house. It was a beautiful and comfortable place to relax after days spent on the beach, trips to volcanoes national park, swimming with manta rays and dolphins and many lovely meals oceanside in town. The fully stocked kitchen was a real treat and the fenced in pool was perfect for our 2 year old. This was by far one of the best places I've stayed in one of the most beautiful places. We have stayed in this location twice and it is such an oasis. Our son, his wife and two grandchildren were with us. While there are many sights to see on the island, the yard and pool were great for the children! The home is beautifully furnished, clean. Having the master on one end of the house and the two bedrooms on the other gave great separattion. Nice quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again when we return to the Big Island!
