We had a wonderful time in this Condo. We had 4 adults and 4 children and we felt like we had plenty of space. Having 3 Bathrooms is quite helpful after a sandy day at the beach. The location was perfect as we were quite close to lots of amazing beaches that you'll find in South Maui. Walking to Kam 3 take just 3 minutes, but you can also drive to many other great options within 5 minutes. We spent lots of time at Maluaka beach, Wailea beach, Ulua beach, and Kam 2. The condo had 4 boogie boards, 5-6 beach chairs and 2 great umbrellas. The AC units worked well and everything else in the condo were great. This was a great option at a great price.

Kamaole Sands property was immaculately maintained lush green. Pool, toddler pool, family warm tub and adult hot tub were a hit with the whole family. Gas BBQ grills and picnic tables cleaned daily!
Kamaole Beach III was just across the street. Walk was perfect with toddler in tow. Local restaurants were amazing, Cinnamon Roll Palace, Cafes, Ice Cream, Sandwiches, Pizza all walkable.
We stayed with 7 people, 4 adults and 3 children (11,7,3). 3 bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. Tons of beach supplies in the Lanai closet. Parking spots were excellent. Elevator access great. Utilize the washer/dryer and AC perfect for the warm afternoons.
Owners are responsive and helpful, our Thanksgiving was fantastic. Excellent driving distance to airport, road to Hana, and Haleakala. We hope to have the pleasure of staying again in the future!

We really have nothing negative to say about this property and it was just as described. We loved the location and proximity to the beach. We had two little kids and three seniors with some mobility issues in our group and there was no issues getting around within the complex or around the beach. The unit was well maintained and everyone commented on how perfect it was for our stay. We will definitely be coming back to this unit! Highly recommend especially if you have a family with mixed ages as there was something for everyone.

We stayed early October of 2023. Occasion was small family reunion of three middle aged to old couples. The property was just as described. It is located close to restaurants, shops and other facilities, yet not next to any of them, so overall, convenient and private.
It has nice beach chairs and parasols.
Thanks to this clean, well maintained condo, we had great time exploring the island knowing we had comfy place to rest.

We came for a family summer vacation and this was a perfect spot for our family. We had teenagers and a couple of 6th graders. The beach across the street is just a short walk where the kids loved catching the Boogie Board waves. Awesome sunsets at night too!! Walking to restaurants, shops, and multiple beaches made this spot perfect! We found stunning waters at Maluaka and Keawakapu. Great time for sure and excellent host!! Thank you Maui!!

Perfect size for our first family stay (3 households, 2 children under 4). End-unit gave us the perfect amount of privacy, while ease of access to pools, beach etc. Jenny was easy to contact, along with the on-site personnel. A/C unit came in handy for keeping the kids comfortable at night so we could explore in the day. Unit was clean and everything you need to stay for your vacation. Highly recommended, would stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Jenny's condo. She was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to all of my questions. We appreciated the ice packs in the freezer for our cooler, and the beach chairs, beach towels, and boogie boards, which really made our time on the beach great. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the lanai overlooking the pool with the beach view. In regard to the condo property -The pool was great, though all parents there agreed that the kiddie pool was too cold for kids, which meant everyone was in the family hot tub all the time. The condo is across the street from a great beach, however one beach down Kam II (easily walkable from the condo) was better for little kids. Lots of yummy cafes around, especially the cinnamon roll place (so good).

Well maintained resort grounds: lots of flowers, greenery, birds, fountains, natural gas bbq grills, pool, hot tubs, gym.
AC worked great and took minutes to cool off the place after a day of excursions.
Condo was as described. Beds were comfy, quiet, couldn't hear any of our neighbours at all! There was a lot of waves so we used the boogie boards quite often. Tommy Bahama chairs were super handy.
Location was across from a beach and near shops and restaurants. Even snorkeling was decent there near the rocks. There was even turtles swimming with us!
There is a recycling bin and a garbage chute on each floor which we found very convenient
When we come back to Maui, we'll for sure rent from Jenny again. Thank you!

Communication was perfect and everything was spelled out for easy planning with zero surprises or issues. The condo was the perfect size for my wife and me, my mom, brother, sister-in-law, and niece. The grounds were well used and the beach/park across the street made for a nice sunset picnic.
Location was great since most of our plans were less than 30min from the property and the many restaurants and grocers made things almost too easy.
We all had a great time and enjoyed hanging out in the condo. Oddly not a single TV was ever turned on. It was fun to call the place home for the week we enjoyed.

Condo has everything you need- great to have beach chairs, boards etc. Perfect location close to the beach and shops/ restaurants. Able to drive to most parts of the island from here easily. Condo decoration is a little tired but everything worked well for us including the air conditioning.

We have been to Maui before and stayed at another property. This location was perfect for our trip needs. Close to beach, within walking distance of everything. We enjoyed being across from Kamaole III beach. The condo was clean, well stocked(towels/ beach supplies/ cooking utensils) and plenty of space for everyone in our group. Added bonus, pool and hot tub close by and property had quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. Jenny, our host, very responsive and she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I would rent this property again and hope you try it out.

The location of the condo was ideal for us. The grandkids loved both the beach and the pool. We grilled out a couple nights and enjoyed dinner at the picnic tables. Although we had a couple maintenance issues, they were resolved quickly.

The 3 bedrooms are separated from each other to give enough privacy from each other, and the common spaces are good for socializing. We did have to be quiet in the mornings/evenings for the group staying in the loft area as it opens on two sides to the kitchen and living room areas. The lanai is small, but we did fit 6 people (with the provided 2 additional lawn chairs) around the table in the mornings/evenings. Beautiful view out to the beach and sunsets. Access to the beach was an easy 5 minute walk though the property and crossing S. Kihei Rd at a flashing crosswalk (which drivers in Kihei were very respectful of pedestrians in these crossings). Saw many families as well as young adults mixing very comfortably at this location. Highly recommended.

Our family had a fantastic time on our trip, and the condo was wonderful! The courtyard garden/pool view of the property was absolutely beautiful and we felt we had one of the best placed condos on the property. It was nice overlooking the pool because on Wednesdays there was live music and hula dancers there. The location was perfect for us. It was close walking to the pool, across the street to the park and ocean, and restaurants on Kihei Road. Jenny was very responsive to my messages and helpful. She made our family feel at home and wanted us to have a good time. We will definitely stay at this condo again next time we visit Maui. One other thing to mention, the coffee table was the perfect size to do 1,000 piece puzzles. We put together 3!

Lovely location in Kihei- we have stayed many times in Kamaole sands but first time in this condo. Spacious for 6 people . Very happy they supplied 5 beach chairs and a new umbrella as well as boogie boards. A/C worked very efficiently to cool the place before sleep. Bathrooms all updated. However, all the beds were so worn, we all had sore backs after 3 days! They could use to be replaced. Many of the blinds/curtains were very dirty and ripped. We had a big storm happen while we there with some roof leakage into the place, but the owners were easy to reach for any questions. Overall, really love Kamaole sands but this place just needs a little TLC to make it a 5 star.

Wonderful. Family of 7, 6 adults and 1 child plenty of room. The only negative we found was the ac unit on the lanai. You could not sit outside without it blasting you with hot air and very noisy. This made the lanai completely unusable.

We had a wonderful visit. The condo is on the 4th floor of the building. On the main level it has two bedrooms (king + 2 twins), plus a third bedroom (king) upstairs. My parents, my spouse and I, and my two kids were very comfortable here. Be sure to bring or buy extra supplies, though, as the listing mentions. For example, we ran out of shampoo, soap, and toilet paper. And there was no cooking oil. We spent tons of time in the pool, which was awesome and very close. You can see both the pool and the ocean from the balcony. The location was great. In the past we have stayed in Ka'anapali, which is nice and upscale but very touristy. Kihei feels more authentic and the Kama'ole beach parks ("Kam" I, II, and III) across from the property are outstanding. We saw lots of giant sea turtles while snorkeling at Kama'ole beach. Lots of stores and restaurants are within 10-15 minutes walking distance from the condo. Wailea is also just a 5-minute drive from the condo. Lots of up-scale shopping and restaurants there. Overall we highly recommend and would stay here again.

We just finished our second stay in this very nice 3 bedroom condo. My wife and I used the upstairs bedroom and bathroom, our daughter and son-in-law utilized the front bedroom and bathroom, and our grandkids shared the third bedroom. We utilized Kamaole Sands’ BBQs along with enjoying the fine restaurants like Tommy Bahama’s, Fred’s, Maui Fish Company, Kimo’s, and Mama’s Fish House!

We had a great experience staying in this Kamaole Sands unit. The location of the condo is great. It’s a quick 300-400 yard walk to the public beach across the street from the complex. Kamaole Sands has a serviceable pool and a well manicured lawn. There’s great sitting there and across the street on the public lawn to view sunsets.
The condo itself fit the needs of my group, which consisted of my wife, my 1 yo, and parents in law. My brother and sister in law were originally scheduled to join us but did not make the trip, but I suspect space would have have remained ample. The kitchen had nice granite countertops and enough cooking equipment for us to prepare breakfast each morning comfortably as well as prepare several dinners. The ac units also keep the condo comfortable for casual lounging as well as through the night for comfortable sleeping.
Lastly, I found the host to be friendly and available to address several questions that came up over the course of our stay. The only negative was the check in process was somewhat cumbersome and inefficient, which potentially relates to active COVID safety measures. After a longer than expected check in process, the remainder of our stay was top notch!

The condo is in a great area near the Southern end of Kihei on the way to Wailea. The beach across the street is great for kids and some tame but fun boogey boarding. The place fit our family of 5 well. The bed in the Master is really firm, so if you are the firm mattress kind, you are in good shape. The king in the loft is softer so head up there if that is your preference. The condo is fairly well appointed and in need of a little TLC. Nothing major, but it has been well loved and could use some paint and towel hooks reattached etc. Like many rentals we have stayed in, people have not looked after the pots and pans etc and the kitchen could use a refresh. The management company was good. We had one small issue with the hot water running low on the 4th of July and they responded on the holiday and sent someone out to check. We never had another problem after that. The place was clean when we checked in.
Jenny the owner communicated well with us also. Overall it is a good fit for families and accommodates 4-6 people comfortably.

We had an issue with the air conditioner that we were made aware of prior to arriving, but it did not hinder our vacation and we received a discount per day that it was not working. Our family of 4 had a very comfortable stay in this top floor unit at Kamaole Sands. The property is really lovely with a very dedicated staff. It's a very short walk down the garden path to the Kamaole III beach. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas. Beds were comfortable and the showers were great. The AC and fans kept us cool and I was very glad we'd looked for an AC unit. Everything in the kitchen worked fine although we didn't cook much. The view from the lanai is beautiful but be warned that the AC exhaust blows onto it so unless the trade winds are blowing also, it can be hot to sit out there. The closets are huge with plenty of hangers but drawers and shelves are few in number. The living room seating is good and the TV looks great but we found none of the basic cable channels in HD and changing channels (many of the basics are available in non-HD) was awkward - up and down channel didn't work, you had to input each number. A list would be helpful for those. WiFi worked great for our bandwidth-hungry teens. Overall, I would definitely rent again.

The accommodation is spacious, conveniently located across the street from Kamaole Beach 3, a beautiful park-like setting with a nice, sandy beach which is very family friendly.
The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. There is a nice pool, a kiddie pool, and adult and children's hot tubs. Lounge chairs are plentiful in sunny and shady areas and the whole area is cleaned daily. Very pleasant. A small concession stand sells breakfast and lunch items and there is a ping-pong table, Foosball table, and a daily newspaper is available.
This unit is located well away from the road and is VERY quiet, aside from happy pool noise during the day. We enjoyed this aspect very much.
The kitchen is well-equipped and we had no problem getting BBQ space at the three stations on the grounds.
We liked the condo layout which has three separate bedrooms, each individually air-conditioned, and each with a bathroom (2 ensuite). The loft bedroom was cool, airy, and bright. We were very comfortable here with three generations, two seniors, two adults and two teenagers, but also saw many happy families with young children.
This unit is on the fourth floor with easy access to stairs and elevator.
The complex is within easy walking distance of grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. Don't miss the killer cinnamon bun store (opens really early and has good coffee).
We would stay at this complex again, although it is showing its age in respect to drapes, carpets, baseboards, and furniture. It's due for some upgrading. Overall though, its such a lovely facility and location that we would like to stay there again.

Trent and Jenny were great when a problem arose, like forgetting the entry code and providing information for my Daughter with help with getting baby gear.
With 3 families present, we all had our own private space and bathrooms.
It was nice to have a washer and drier in the unit and a daily paper.
We would recommend this to any family.

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. The owner is great, the management is responsive, and this condo is one of the best deals for your money on Maui, and we've been to Maui a lot. The condo has a bit of age to it, but this isn't critical for us as we don't spend a lot of time in the condo. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the lanai looking at the gardens and the ocean, and really enjoyed the spaciousness of the condo, having two floors, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. Kamaole Sands is also at the very southern end of Kihei, providing excellent access to all of the great beaches in Wailea. We'll definitely be back!

This condo is located in a great part of south Kihei. It is close enough to walk to several Kihei beaches, restaurants and stores. Wailea is a short distance away. The owner is very helpful and accommodating to any questions and reserving the unit. Once we arrived on the property, check-in was very easy. The condo was very clean and great for 3 adults. Each of us had our own room and bathroom. It is a great space for couples and families too. The view from the lanai is beautiful. Check out is as easy as check-in. I recommend this condo in Maui!!!

Our vacation was fabulous in large part due to your wonderful condo. It was perfect for our family and we all enjoyed it very much. The check in and out were both smooth and efficient. The condo was very clean when we arrived. We had one small issue the following morning but the property manager sent someone over right away and fixed the problem. Not a big issue but one that was dealt with immediately which we appreciated. The grounds at Kamaole Sands are fabulous and the view from the deck is great. The location of the complex is close to the many beaches as well as to grocery shopping. Overall we were extremely pleased and would come back again and recommend to others.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was wonderful - clean on check-in, the management company was very helpful and pro-active with informing us about the hurricane and
other things. We really enjoyed the Kamaole Sands community - we used
everything offered at some point - BBQ area, pool, free daily paper,
ping pong, tennis courts and beach just across the street. Very nice
and professional staff. We will definitely consider staying here again
- I don't think you can find a better setting for a family like ours
with tween- and teen-aged kids. They had the freedom to go the beach or
play ping pong in a safe environment. Our relatives stayed in other
condos across the Sands and they all enjoyed their stay. We had a
fabulous vacation.
