We are located on the western shores of Maui in the beautiful laid back city of Kihei where you can enjoy the beautiful sea breezes flowing through the unit. It is available for one, two or three people. This quiet location is across the street from Kalepolepo Beach which is perfect for catching our beautiful island sunsets or reading a good book.
Our condo is enhanced by a private lanai overlooking a beautiful garden & tennis court at the Kihei Bay Surf condos in a very quiet area away from the street noise. Perfect for morning coffee or an evening toast.
Our unit features a very comfortable queen size bed and a sleeper sofa that opens to a queen memory foam platform bed. Our bathroom has a tiled walk-in shower and our kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove & oven, a dishwasher and a microwave as well as toaster, coffee machine, pots/pans, dishes, and serving ware. This charming studio has a ceiling fan, A/C, cable television, FREE high speed wifi internet connection, and a Blue Ray DVD player for your convenience.
The complex is built around a central courtyard with most units facing into the landscaped area. The buildings are low rise (only two stories). In addition to a swimming pool, the grounds feature a hot-tub, tennis court, and a BBQ area with gas grills. There is one free parking space provided for all our guests.
Across the street is a small whale sanctuary park with viewing telescopes and educational displays. The park has shade trees, picnic tables, and a shallow lagoon for swimming. There are also archaeological displays of the ancient Hawaiian fish ponds and a village site.
Sugar Beach is located just a couple of minutes by foot down Kihei Road, from where you can walk or run 3.5 miles along a sandy beach, passing only a few buildings. The swimming beaches of Charley Young, Kamaole I, II and III, and Keavakapu are a very short drive by car or scooter into Kihei. A short drive further south are more secluded beaches as well as the famous, and our favorite, Makena Beach.
If you are coming to Maui, we can provide the perfect base for a relaxing vacation, or a more adventurous exploration of the island's natural beauty. We provide full beach gear for your convenience; large towels, snorkel equipment, Tommy Bahama Beach Chairs, Tommy Bahama Beach Umbrella, and a cooler for snacks, lite lunch or evening sunset picnic on the beach.

We enjoyed our stay, the unit was clean and had everything we needed. The location was great and neighborhood was safe and quiet. We did not use the pool however it looked clean and well kept.
The a/c was a godsend and they had guide books to help plan out your activities for the day.

Ted and Dom's condo is in a great spot, with the beach right across the street and great restaurants nearby. We found it to be central to everything, making drives around the island a bit easier. The place is comfortable and has every amenity you need.

Ted and Dom's place worked out perfect for what we needed. A place close by to the airport as my family was only here for one night. It was nice and clean, kitchen with everything needed if you decide to cook, closet had a lot of recreational items for the beach or tennis rackets to play on the tennis court at their place. I loved Ted and Dom's studio in Kihei. The location was perfect to get all around the island and literally 187 steps from front door to feet in the water at sunset. The ground floor studio is small but very clean and newly remodeled. Perfect for one. Or a couple. The bed was new, firm and very comfortable. Kitchen was great. Linens, towels, everything was quality. The small a/c unit works great and cools very fast but I didn't need it much even when it was 89 outside. There's a great breeze that comes through before sunset. The lanai overlooks a palm and plumeria lined courtyard that surrounds the tennis court that nobody uses (although Ted and Dom provide two nice Head rackets if you want to hit some balls). The pool and bbqs are on the other side of the tennis court so it was very quiet and peaceful to sit out on the lanai and plan the next day's excursions. The pool seemed nice and clean but I didn't go to Maui to swim in a pool. I used the bbqs and they were great. The laundry room has tons of new washers and dryers. The only slight negative was that some of the full time residents seemed offended by my and maybe other guests' presence. It didn't matter to me because I didn't spend a lot of time outside roaming the grounds and I could care less what some creepy dude thinks. Most of the people I encountered coming or going were very friendly. I'd gladly stay in this particular condo again if it were available. Great value, great location, great hosts.

I was happy with the condo, it reminds me of my life in Bali, rattan ceilings and rattan covering walls. Its a very quiet area, right across the beach. Its fully equipped in the kitchen as well as beach gear, sport gear. I will be back. Thanks Ted.

This is a very laid back smaller condo community in a great location on the outskirts of Kihei - just beyond the busy town and easy access to head west towards Sugar beach, Lahaina or the road to Haleakala or Kahalui. The owners were very accommodating and even allowed a later check out at no extra cost (we had a late night flight out and a baby that needed to nap on the same day). Loved the beach gear, fully stocked kitchen, and many (soft & thick) towels for us to use. The complex is also right across the street from a quiet beach with a very protected area perfect for little ones! We used the onsite coin operated laundry facilities which was very clean and new. Also enjoyed soaking up some rays by the pool when it got too windy at the beach. Tennis court and community bbq area is available for your use as well. The free wifi was also a nice plus. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in Kihei at an affordable price - look no further. Mahalo! Ted ~ It would be cool to have a guest book at your place so that folks could write down their favorite restaurants, beaches, or places to go etc. Bus stop is nearby if you choose to not get a car.
