Facing the park garden, you can see the sea through the greens from your lanai. I spent most of the time sitting at the chair in the lanai and ate breakfast every morning in this lanai.

pros: close walk to beach, shops and restaurants
Ali'i Beach rental staff communicated very well and was responsive with any issues, Rington met us to hand off the fobs and he was very curteous. The kitchen looked updated with new appliances.
cons: 218 is on the 2nd floor and the balcony overlooks a high traffic beach access, it's also the furthest unit from the beach and the Waikiki Shore building is very close to another hotel. Sewer lines run between the building so the smell of sewer would come into the unit. It has very old glass windows with slats that you have to crank open. The windows allowed the sewer smell to permeate the place.
Aside from a few pictures it did not feel like we were in Hawaii. The beds and outdoor furniture were uncomfortable. The coffee table wobbles and the recliner needs to be replaced.
Raid roach spray is provided and we used it to spray around the crack at the bottom of the door where we believe the roaches were coming in.
It's very close to all the action but that comes with a lot of noise. Sirens, drivers blowing their car horns, loud music, ambulances, scooters and people yelling at all hours. Construction is being done to the lobby which added to the noise.
Only one a/c situated in the main living area did not reach the bathroom and it was hot.
The tile floors could use some rugs as the floor was slippery. The closets need to be cleared of junk and dusted.
We still enjoyed our time in Waikiki but we would not stay here again.

Great location - next door is the outrigger if you like to feel connected to hotel life. The lanai was great people watching. Surf break straight out… volleyball watching in the park. Apartment- beds, Aircon and fans great. Shower needs a revamp. Don’t think the fridge or stove has ever been used. Walked out onto beach for the fireworks…

I was very happy with the rental company. They responded to 2 issues right away. One of the issues as a lamp wasn’t working so they came that afternoon with new lamps. The mattress was also in n ed of replacement and they came the next day with a new mattress. We enjoy staying at this condo.

A great place to stay right by everything you need. We have stayed at the Waikiki Shores about four times now. First time in such a large room it was great plenty of room for our grand children we loved it. And the property manager Rita was very nice we really enjoyed it she was very prompt on answering questions we had. Would stay there again for sure.

Access to the beach is right there which was perfect for my little so we weren't lugging around all the baby things on ubers. Close to restaurants and shops. The room was as shown in the pictures. Nothing fancy but everything we needed. Wish they provided sand toys or floaties. There is a washer and dryer but no soap.

It was all about the location for this place.
Having an infant, location and facility was first priority for us, and this place definitely fulfilled both of them.
Only 50m to the beach, it was a breeze to walk down to the beach everyday. Also located on the 2nd floor made it easy for us to walk down the stairs if the lifts were crowded.
There was a private gate for us to use directly to the beach, also with a private shower to wash off the sand after the beach.
Also close to the main shopping area and bus stop were a big plus too.
The room itself was also great, very spacious rooms and a great kitchen to cook. The balcony was not a beach view but the park outside was still beautiful and was lovely to sit there to enjoy the breeze.
If I was to fault anything, there tends to be a bit of sound outside at night with people partying, but I guess this applies to any place situated in the heart of waikiki.

While this was a great location, the property condition was poor. It was advertised as a 1 bedroom, but the partition between the bedroom and the living room was missing, so in essence it was a studio. With four people, there was no privacy. It would have been nice for the management company to inform us of this before we got there and given us an option to find a replacement property.

Had tons of hangers!!!loved it, especially since the [covid backlog] dryer had not arrived]. Ask for instructions for the AC--we couldn't turn it down or off. Uber was quick from this location. Mon-Sat 9am exercise in the park class for 40 minutes.

To sum it up, the vacation rental experience was problem-free. Not one issue arose. Be advised that parking in general is an issue & you will pay. This property makes it clear there is no parking. Location was exceptional. Condo is getting old but still in good shape. You will be outdoors anyway. You can stay close or venture out easily. Perfect location! Comfortable for Adult parent & 2 adult children. The only reasonably priced part of your trip. But hey, it’s Hawaii and it’s beautiful! Fabulous trip. Plan any activities on-line and way in advance before you leave. Popular ones are frequently sold out.

Kitchen counter was dirty with food crumbs and stains showing it had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. This gave us concern of our safety due to COVID-19 being active. The mattress had many lumps and very uncomfortable so one of us slept on the sofa and the other in the twin bed. We were informed our washing machine and dryer would not be working whlie there and able to use one in another unit for only day.

We had an amazing experience. The room was clean, big and spacious, stocked with everything you needed. Washer and dryer huge bonus for no dirty clothes to travel home with. The location was perfect. Beautiful views of the beach and the park next door. Short Walking distance to restaurants and entertainment.

Condo was great for my son, daughter and myself. It had everything we needed. Can’t beat this location with easy check in and check out. This is my 5 th stay at the Waikiki Shore. This lower unit backs up to palm trees to the park and is great for people watching with nice late afternoon shade from the palm trees. I also had some flight changes, Gabi the manager was flexible about a later checkout.

The unit is exactly as the pictures show. Clean unit. The only issues we encountered was the pull out couch mattress wasn’t the cleanest and the legs on the couch were broken which made the pull out bed unstable . We ended up just putting the mattress on the floor to sleep on . The proximity to the beach was amazing and yes you can see the ocean from the unit on the lanai. You can walk to everything Wakiki has to offer . We rented a car and the closest parking is about a 7 min walk to the Hale Koa parking garage . There is parking below but apparently not included with this unit . Payed 195 for a month parking because it was cheaper then the daily rate . Overall good stay!😊
