I indicated a No to recommending this unit to a friend as most of our friends are seniors. The hide-a-bed in the Living Room is not appropriate for seniors. It is a cheap unit which sags into the center and is noisy when moving or turning over. It would probably be fine for children.

I stayed a week at the Ilikai Marina Condos and was very happy from reserving my arrival to departure. Staff is knowledgeable and very nice to work with. The unit was clean and kitchen well stocked with kitchenware. My 2 daughters & grandaughter were at Hilton Hawaiian Village but preferred to watch the fireworks from my condo. Spectacular Friday night event.I will definitely rebook here again when in Honolulu.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Ilikai 988. We are usually visitors to Maui and decided to try Oahu. We love the walking and Bike bikes, never needing to rent a car except to go to Kailua and Pearl Harbor. The condo was lovely and well maintained. Paul was a gem to work with and secured a late check out which was greatly appreciated. All Captain Cook staff were quick to respond and were very helpful. The condo was very cleaned well maintained (a nice broom to replace the older corn broom would have been a nice addition).

Property manager was excellent. Had an issue with the AC and he was there in 10 minutes and fixed the problem immediately. Late checkout request was accommodated. Communication was great.
Sunset views were amazing and location was great. Unit was stocked with all required amenities.
Unfortunately this unit was old and tired. Not as it was portrayed in the pictures. Many things needed repair or replacement. Shower curtain had mold on it. Toilet paper holder was broken. Ceiling was peeling off and looked moldy. Local phone did not work. No in unit safe. Some roaches were found in the kitchen. Thankfully, there was roach spray under the sink:)
Nothing that required us to spend time attempting to have fixed, but for the price point we expected better.
Overall an acceptable unit, just needs some TLC.

Nice condo, good location, good amenities. Enjoyed our stay except: the garberator broke on day 4 of our 8 day stay. We were unable to use the kitchen sink for the last half of our stay and the cable TV in the bedroom did not work for the entire stay. I contacted property management (Paul) who said he would address the issues but he never did. This made the last half of our stay unpleasant. Difficult to use the kitchen with no sink.

Our Vacation Rental Experience was absolutely "FABULOUS" The check in/out process was very smooth and easy. The view, I couldn't get enough of. Morning to night, all you want to do is stare out the window. The apartment is very clean, and you have everything you need to feel at home. This is the second time we stayed at this condo. The view is amazing! The location is easy to get to and parking is convenient. This condo is right at the beginning of Waikiki so you don’t have to deal with to much traffic but close enough to be able to walk to anything. We will stay here again.

This property is hard to locate. The entrance is in Hobron Lane, just opposite the Modern. The bed in this unit is wonderful, but other aspects let it down, which is a shame. You need to be a heating engineer to operate the air con. The carpet needs cleaning if not replacing. I would recommend this property but with reservations.

Great location!! Beautiful views of the Marina, lagoon and ocean! Clean unit, decorated nicely and very quiet. The parking garage was very convenient as we had a rental car. I stayed with my family of four and it had plenty of room. Paul was very easy to get ahold of and very accommodating when we called. I highly recommend the unit and the Captain Cook Resort company!

Spent almost three weeks in this condo, as a transitional living arrangement before PCS'ing to Texas with my spouse and two small children. The location was excellent; however, the building, as well as the room itself and furnishings, were very outdated. We found what looked like either a bed bug or small roach in the bed, the headboard to the bed was SUPER dusty, the sofa bed is broken (and very uncomfortable and squeaky) making it really difficult to set up and put away every day, and the dishwasher was broken. We let our property manager, Paul, know about each these issues. He came and inspected for bugs and said that he would send a pest control person, but never followed up. Paul sent housekeeping to collect the bedding, which they did. They gave us new sheets, but never returned with a new comforter or bed skirt. They also didn't dust the headboard. Paul did send somebody to look at the dishwasher, but we still had to mess with the knob to get it to work properly. On the plus side, the A/C was nice and cold and you really can't beat the price... Overall, I guess you just kinda get what you pay for.

Spent 13 nights in this condo and overall we are happy with our stay there. very specious,well equipped kitchen and fridge with filtered chilled water. Very happy with the WIFI had conection every time. Bed was on a soft side and didn't suit my wife but that's more of a personal preference.everything looked fairly clean except for the dining chair armrests they had layers of dirt we had to cover them with paper towels. We had a perfect view over the yachts harbour , perfect spot for Fridays fireworks and not bad to watch sunset. Balcony is a perfect spot for a morning coffee. Wasn't that quiet, 9th floor but still everything echoed from the street, and the neighboring hotels air con system was very annoying. Ala Moana shopping center is about 10min walking distance, and ABC grocery store is few steps away. Would prefer a key-less lock so we didn't have to worry about the key. Few sets of towels and bed linen were provided and beach towels as well overall had a pleasant stay there.

I was very happy with this apartment and location. Captain Cook Resorts were great to communicate with and on arrival, Paul gave me good info to kick off my holiday - local restaurants, local food market etc. I would absolutely stay here again, and recommend it to friends and family.

This condo was absolutely perfect. It was an easy walk to be right in the middle of the action. The views were stunning and it was a perfect spot to view the friday night fireworks! I was most surprised by how little wait we had for the elevators. We intend to only stay in this condo when we return and would consider a long term rental as well.
