Just as advertised. This was our 2nd stay at the Waikiki Banyan (different listing), and it's an easy place to stay. Slightly off strip which is what we love about it. This unit is on the 32nd floor and the views of the mountains are amazing. The sliding glass door did have an issue, but our property manager James was great and accomodating to any and all issues. Definitely recommend this listing and would stay here again!

Our family stayed at this beautiful apartment for 11 nights during a holiday in Oahu, Hawaii. It had nice facilities and was very clean. The hosts were extremely helpful and easy to contact. The close location to Waikiki Beach and other amenities was great. We would love to stay here again if we return to Oahu.

I highly recommend this condo. It's on the 32nd floor, and has a beautiful view of the hills and University of Hawaii, where my son is now attending. We could see his dorm building from our balcony! 😊
The unit was very clean and the decor simple. The bathroom was roomy, and all the towels we needed were supplied for us, as well as laundry soap were we to need to do laundry. It even had beach towels, two folding chairs, and a simple umbrella for the beach.
The beds were very comfortable. The king bed was great, and the kids even said the fold out queen couch was comfortable.
Kitchen is well-equipped, though a few simple spices would be nice to have on hand. Note, there is no dishwasher, but of course we managed! :) The garbage disposal worked great, and there was no foul odor, as someone mentioned in a previous review.
Overall, a very comfortable place, and we would definitely stay here if we come back!

I stayed here alone for a week in June 2023. The room was exactly as pictured. The couch, bed and chairs were all comfortable and I liked the style of the furnishings and that there was no unnecessary clutter. Balcony overlooked the canal and the hills in the distance which were great to look at either for the sun rising over them in the morning or seeing the glow of houselights after dark. I especially liked that since the room is on the 32nd floor, there were no other building in the way of the view in that direction. Communication was good and had no problems with entry to the unit with code for door that was provided. I got follow-up texts asking how the trip was going and if I needed anything. A couple questions I asked were answered promptly. I did not use the kitchen for cooking but if I wanted to it looked to have all the utensils, cookware, bakeware etc I would need. I slept well and did not notice any excessive noise either from the streets below or the hallway outside. Unit is just a few blocks from the beach and the food places there as well. Plentiful ABC stores nearby if you need to purchase additional food items or toiletries. The air conditioner was on the loud side but did not bother me and it was effective at cooling the room after being out in the Hawaiian heat. There is a pool/activity deck on the 6th floor but note that a sign was up that indicated that it would start to be renovated soon so may be unavailable for some of the rest of the year. Overall I was very happy with my stay and would consider again if I return. Thanks!

Owner needs a new mattress and support frame installed. Should have been done months ago! Garbage disposal was not working and the severe mildew smell under kitchen sink was atrocious. Front cover of AC held on by ducktape and there was no AC remote. Controls are on bottom corner of AC unit, 2" above floor level. Shower pan drains slightly away from drain, leaving a puddle at that end to evaporate. How about providing a second beach chair for our use?The CCRE Manager was helpful only in that he showed up with more ducktape for the AC, to clarify the foul under-sink odor and determine the disposal was indeed non-functional. Does CCRE have maintenance standards?On the positive side, the unit was fairly well cleaned and has one of the best mountain views in Waikiki. Plenty of bathroom and closet storage. Laundry facilities were conveniently located down the hall and parking was a breeze (and included!).

We stayed at the Waikiki Banyan while visiting family for the holidays. (I'm late in submitting a review.) The Banyan's location is very convenient to the beach and island activities. We've stayed in several different units over the years, and 3205-T2 is our personal favorite—it matches our style. The property manager, Byron, is always responsive and helpful, and this past visit, his one-day back-up Hanna was great. Everything is clean and well-maintained. This is our favorite place to stay, in large part for the reliably great service Captain Cook provides.

For our family visit to Oahu Hawaii, we immediately started our search on Airbnb but quickly realize there are any Airbnb listing are hosted by local condo managers.
We found a top rated condo manager in Oahu Hawaii called Captain Cook, and booked our stay. As we got a promotion deal, we stayed with Hilton Grand Islander first few days and moved to our booking with Capital Cook at Waikiki Shore.
We were totally amazed when we got into our condo. Ocean view to the entire side balcony. The kitchen was newly renovated. The property is RIGHT NEXT to the beach, with a back door literally open to the beach.
The check-in experience was wonderful. We checked out of Grand Islander Hilton and our property manager Paul told us the condo is ready to check-in at 10AM.
When we arrived, he provided us with code to enter the building and elevator. As we opened our condo, we simply was amazed!
Our stay was wonderful. We rested well and truly enjoyed the memorable Waikiki sunset from the balcony every day!

We used to live just down the street from this property before we moved back to the mainland. We knew the neighborhood well so elected to stay here. We were very pleased with the property it was as described online. Captain Cook Resort personal were so helpful to work with. I would gladly book another property with them. One item to be aware of but not to deter from staying here is to know as all high rise buildings elevator usage is high so it was necessary to wait for an elevator. Overall we had a wonderful time and so enjoyed our views overlooking the Ala Wai and seeing the sunrise each morning. Mahalo and Aloha. We’ll be back.

My 20 yo son stayed on the pull out sleeper sofa. The right side was broken and it was a two person hassle to open it each night. Bryon, property manager was very responsive but it never got fixed. It needed a bolt/screw. Bryon did fix the vertical blinds, TP holder and AC cover, which were other maintenance issues. He also replaced the 2 lamp shades in the bedroom that were broken.
Our view was fabulous and the location to the strip/"ocean Ave" was perfect. Lots to do...Did see many many homeless people on our street as well. We wound up giving our groceries/ food to them when we left.
Free parking was a must and so needed! Same for the kitchen. It saved us.

I was very surprised the first morning I woke up and I saw the sunrise. I had to get up every morning to see excited I want to miss it. The condo was perfect for me. I liked the new floor, remodeled kitchen, and the remodeled bathroom. The owners did very good job of remodeling the kitchen with a big refrigerator and electric stove. The bathroom lighting is bright. Perfect for shaving. I would definitely stay in this condo again

Great location 3 blocks from Waikiki, parking included in this condo. Comfy bed, rather small kitchen and bathroom but adequate. We also got to use the pool and jacuzzi. Host was very communicative but the place needs instructions (where the laundry room and dumpster are located, what we need to do prior to check out, etc.)

This is our 3rd time staying at the banyan but the first time in this unit. It was clean other than the dirty sheet left in the sofa bed. The king bed was comfy. They provided everything we needed to prep a meal. The toilet was making noises but we didn't report it. There is a nice view of the mountains as you can see from the photos. It is a nice bright unit.

This was our very first time renting a condo, as we typically stay with families when visiting Hawaii. We absolutely LOVED our stay at this condo. The contemporary decor, was a nice added touch to the outstanding and spectacular views. The pool/play area for little ones and BBQ area on the recreational deck was an added bonus, we made sure to take advantage of these great amenities. The location was nice, lots of places to eat within walking distance and just a few steps from the beach. I would most definitely recommend this condo to families and friends.

Location was great, wasn't too happy with the furniture, it wasn't clean and the bathroom had a sewage smell when the tap water was turned on. The sofa was very dirty and the pull out bed wasn't clean at all and it smelt. Other then that it was a decent apartment. Great view and happy with the parking and amenities.

We typically stay on Waikiki beachfront, but wanted to experience what staying inside the neighborhood. This property was ideal in that sense. Not the newest property, but overall, clean and reasonably quiet. Included parking was a huge plus.
