Everything about this condo was perfect for our stay in Maui. The unit was clean, kitchen had all the necessities, and the location is literally across the street from the turtle reserve. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the patio everyday, was able to take a run on the beach, and get the nice breeze. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, even though it’s the middle of December! We took advantage of the beach chairs, beach towels, and boogie boards too! The owner, Kevin, was super responsive and kept the lines of communication open! Everything was super easy and would highly recommend this unit.

My family and I absolutely loved staying in this condo. It’s clean, convenient to dining/groceries, has an ocean view, and furnished beautifully. We also had access to boogie boards and a cooler which made everything so much easier (didn’t have to spend money also). The owner is extremely kind and accommodating. We were so happy with this condo. It's in a great neighborhood and literally right across the street from the beach (with turtles!) So glad we stayed here instead of a hotel, because it really felt like home. It was stocked with everything we needed (tea kettle, toaster, all the kitchen supplies and even aloe for sunburns in the pay it forward cabinet lol.)
We had a question about how to work the sliding door on the very first night and Kevin came right over to help. He was lovely and helpful and full of great suggestions/recommendations.
The pool and hot tub in the complex was simple, super clean, and just perfect. Everyone we met there was really lovely.
Would definitely stay here again.

This is about the only VRBO or rental that I honestly can say I had no complaints. It was clean, comfortable, as advertised, had a well/stocked kitchen, a good bed and futon, a good tv with Netflix, etc accessibility, a good shower, and 2 coffee makers, one a Keurig. Kevin was terrific about communicating, very responsive, and helpful with ideas and information. Also, nice pool and hot tub, though we didn’t even get to them, being so busy doing other adventures.

This was the perfect place for my boyfriend and myself. The condo had everything we needed! Kitchen supplies, beach gear and a great pay it forward system. We spent our mornings on the beach across street looking for Turtles resting on the rocks! This location is close to store, shops,restaurants, which made it easy for us to enjoy our entire trip. We will be back!

Great location, wonderful property. Property was very clean at checkin. The pay it forward cabinet is awesome, nice surprise for guests. Beach is very close. Sea turtles are seen in the afternoon as well.
The host is very helpful and easy to communicate with. The property is well stocked for an easy and relaxing vacation.

Kevin's Kihei accommodations are amazing. We booked the room for my wife and son as they visited me on a business trip. We initially located the listing based on its economic value (it was super affordable), but don't let that fool you. This property is very much a hidden gem and was much nicer than many of the other higher price locations we stayed at.
The pool is the largest one I've seen in non-resort Kihei. Most others are small and bean shaped where this pool was actually large enough to swim in.
The accommodations are great, and comfortable and sleep was very easy in the temperature regulated unit.
If I return to Maui I will actively try to book this listing. It is definitely 5 star in price, comfort, and convenience.

This was way beyond what I expected. The room was in excellent condition and well stocked with necessities. The area was safe and clean. The manager checked in regularly to give tips for stay in the area and to see if I needed anything. It was across from the beach and in walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. There is also a bus outside to get around. It is located near other resorts

These hosts saved us when our initial reservation was canceled at the last minute due to flooding. They directed us in, met us, showed us a few things, made recommendations and then left us alone...unless we reached out for something. If these 2 recommend something to do or a place to eat I recommend doing it. The unit is well equipped and clean. We hope to return.

The condo was clean and inviting! It had everything that we needed for our visit. Has a full kitchen and plenty of supplies. The lanai was a perfect place to hang out, relax and enjoy a meal or to take in the sights of Kihei. The location is fantastic. The condo is across the street from a beautiful beach where you can enjoy an amazing sunset every night. It is also very close to wonderful restaurants and shops. We also enjoyed the large pool and hot tub. Our host, Kevin was great! He was very helpful from the time we made our reservation until we checked out. Great communication and he was happy to give us suggestions on fun things to do during our stay. We had the time of our lives and can't wait for our next visit to Kihei and this wonderful condo!

I enjoyed the contactless check-in/out. Communication w/ Kevin was accessible, he made sure I settled in well which I really appreciate, and he's a phone call away if you need any assistance. Accommodation was close to everything I wanted to explore and spend some time. Being on the 2nd floor and having a private balcony, a kitchen, wi-fi, and free parking was a plus! Place was clean, safe and close to the beach. Short drive into Kihei for food and nightlife. Something that we didn't take advantage of but there's a nice amount of pay it forward items in the cabinet and fridge. Before going shopping for the week, take a look.

The place was nice and clean with plenty of utilities provided. The location is perfect since its near the center of Kihei, so we didn't have to travel far for supplies or food. We also met very friendly neighbors while using the pool and hot tub.

This is a great condo! It's comfortable, in a great location, and had everything we needed for our stay. The condo is across the street from a beach that sea turtles love to frequent and close to several great restaurants. The bed is comfortable and the sheets and towels are soft. The condo has a great kitchen set up, beach gear, and "pay it forward" items that other guests have left. The host is responsive and has great tips for things to see and places to eat. The complex is well cared for with a pool, hot tub, tennis court, and BBQ grills. We would absolutely stay here again!

The studio apartment is wonderfully laid out and is thoughtfully appointed with all the tools to make your stay in Maui perfect. We enjoyed our mornings on the Lanai, which faces the ocean across South Kihei Road. The complex is well located and well maintained. The large pool area, with hot tub is well cared and maintained. Definitely recommend for couples looking to enjoy Maui.

The description of the place is very accurate. Very clean and feels like a home away from home. It was nice to have condiments for cooking (great pay it forward pantry!) and basic beach items (chairs, umbrella, etc), and just about everything we needed for our stay. It's a bit cozy for 4 people, but OK. Both beds were very comfortable. Inside table seats 2 people, but there is a second table on the balcony for 2 people as well. We would absolutely stay here again and were very pleased with our stay.

Property exactly as listed/pictured; no trouble finding a spot in the parking lot; host responsive and good to work with; no neighbor/complex noise issues; condo was clean and comfortable - had what we needed for making breakfast each morning and there were plenty of toiletries available. We only stayed for four days and spent most of our time touring around. The apartment is roomy enough for two people with a fully stocked kitchen plus laundry access in the complex. We didn’t use either but appreciated the ‘pay it forward’ cupboards in the kitchen and bathroom and was a great way to leave what we couldn’t take home with us, behind.
Only feedback I’d give is the bed could be more comfortable and the futon is useful as an extra place to sleep but not comfortable to watch tv for too long.
Kevin was very attentive before and during our stay which was appreciated.

We are a group of 6 women who usually travel together, but this vacation only 4 of us could go. This was our first visit to Maui and we found the perfect location and condo at Kihei Bay Surf. The rental was affordable, clean and wonderfully located. The futon bed was thick and comfortable. We found ourselves immersed in the culture of Kihei Bay Surf rather quickly. The pool and hot tub were cleaned every morning. People used the picnic tables and grills every night. We found ourselves walking the beach and watching the turtles, across the street from the condo daily. And because Kihei is in a central location, we were able to do everything else on the island without feeling rushed over our 10 day vacation. We biked down haleakala, traveled the road to Hana, looked for shells on Baldwin Beach, at at cafe mambo, went to a luau in lahaina, whale watching, Iao needle, the north shore... and still felt calm and rested! Thank you Kevin for being such a nice, attentive host. We hope to be back...

I would like to start off saying this was my first trip I’ve ever planned by myself and at first I was hesitant to use the apps but in the long run so worth it and made it so much easier to communicate and find what I was looking for! Kehei bay surf was the best place so homey and welcoming for my boyfriend and I ! I got confirmation straight away Kevin was on top of all the information I needed it was extremely easy to find and so nice and refreshing I loved the view From our room and the things you don’t think to bring were there for us to use like beach equipment and water bottles beach towels really all you could need for a private get away !! No one bothering you. the people who lived in the facility were welcoming and so friendly had great chats with skip and sir Thomas !! Got to see turtles almost every morning across the street … anyways I can’t wait to go back and I will definitely be staying at kehei bay surf thanks again Kevin !!!!

Kevin is an amazing host; very communicative and he thought of everything to make our stay in Kihei, Maui amazing: snacks, a full kitchen, beach supplies, AC, and more! The apartment is decorated beautifully and very clean. It was me, my sister, and son (3) and we were very comfortable there. We could see the beach from the porch. We had some questions (like how to unfold the futon and where to hang our towels) and Kevin always responded immediately, even calling or coming by if necessary. Kihei is right near a bunch of beaches and a short drive from all of the other places in Maui. The only minor annoyance was that the laundry room hours are 8am-start by 730pm or so, and we always wanted to do laundry after that after a day of activities, but we couldn't. So we handwashed clothes with the provided detergent and hung on the rack, which was fine!

The property manager was great and communicated regularly once we booked with recommendations for sights and restaurants. The beach pond across the street is great for families and watching the sunset; we even saw some turtles! It is about a mile walk to the nearest shops, but careful, the bike lane can be narrow in places. My only concern is that the flooring in the home was “soft” near the bed and I would have liked some extra towels. I’m sure the manager would have provided the extra towels if requested, but I never got around to asking. Overall, I would stay again.

The condo was clean. The host was responsive when we had an issue finding the unit. But the issue could have been avoided by providing a complete address in the first place. The address on the receipt is the building. The apartment number doesn’t show on any of the 13 emails I received regarding this rental. When you walk in the door, you’re greeted by a list of rules. More rules in the bathroom, kitchen, and patio. More rules and instructions by email before check in and more rules and instructions by email after checking in. I just simply think it’s wrong to collect a cleaning fee and then send me an email telling me to clean. I don’t go on vacation to take out the trash. Luckily I was only there long enough to sleep and shower so it didn’t become an issue. The coffee on the other hand should embarrass the host. Generic k cup coffee with no creamer that tasted like dirty dish water. And I really could have used a decent cup of coffee after listening to the traffic race by all night.

This studio condo was a perfect stay for my family and myself. It was well decorated and even the futon bed was comfortable too. My kids were quite happy that there was Netflix and WiFi. We even used the boogie boards, chairs, and umbrella. There is also a small cooler you can use if you do not have one. Large beach towels as well as bath towels were provided. They were very accommodating.
Everything that I needed to cook was there as well as food and spices etc, that were left behind to "pay it forward". Having stayed in other places, I appreciate the condo having these little things like hot sauce, herbs, box of Mac n cheese, water filter...it makes life cooking on vacation so much easier than having to run to the store and buy little things like butter, etc. I know I would not have finished a whole box or tub of butter while vacationing, so it is nice to have condiments on hand when needed.
If you decide to stay here, the only word of advice I have is to close the blinds during the day. It will keep the condo much cooler for when you return from your day's adventure.
Other than that, I highly recommend staying here and I would stay here again in the future. The owner is extremely nice and had offered anything we need multiple times, but luckily we already had what we needed at the place.

We did remove some sunscreens that are harmful to the reef and replaced them with reef safe sunscreen. If you are looking for a clean and convenient stay, consider booking here!

I enjoyed having morning coffee and evening cocktails on the lanai (balcony) with a view of the palm trees and the ocean across the street. The kitchen had everything I needed and Kevin also provided beach towels and beach chairs! I was unable to book a rental car due to the shortage, so I used the public bus and there was a stop right in front of the condo which was convenient. The pool was clean and I always met someone new at the pool. I would definitely stay again. Mahalo Kevin for a wonderful vacation.
