We greatly appreciated the abundance of supply of all the extra things you need for a stay-mayo, mustard, spices. The best stocked VBRO hands down. Check the exp. on items before using though. All beds and sofa pull out were super comfy. Bedding is sateen type which was a little hot vs cotton for Hi. weather. We had breakfast on the lanai every morning and took the beach chairs to the property beach access to watch the sunset in the evenings which was splendid! For beach days, go to Kam 2 (traditional beach waves) or Makena (cove like vibes). Don’t waste your time with anything around to property other than the ABC before the condo and the food trucks. There is also a Longs Drugs in close proximity. Black Rock pizza nearby is pretty darn good and good places down by the aforementioned beaches were Kihei is bustling. I would definitely stay again!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful vacation at Luana Kai. We have stayed at many VRBOs before and this was the most well stocked condo we’ve experienced. The home had plenty of bath and beach towels and all the kitchen supplies you could need.
Jean was very helpful and accommodating with any information or special requests.
We all loved the beautiful ocean view from the lanai and swimming in the pool!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely condo. It had everything we needed and more! Loved walking on the beach and watching the sunset. Then a dip in the pool as well as hot tub. We had a great stay at Jean's condo. It's very close to a wonderful beach (where sea turtles sleep) as well as pickleball/tennis courts right out front. We played pickleball almost every day with a huge group of drop-in players of all skill levels! The place is super well provisioned - everything you might need has been thoughtfully provided by Jean. She was incredibly responsive if we ever had a question or concern. Great views! I would heartily recommend this condo and I hope we come back again! (We had a few minor quibbles, but nothing that amounted to much - some pillowcase covers were pilled and kitchen could use more light.) Looking forward to returning!

This was a nice, clean unit that had everything you could need. The view and property amenities are fantastic. The property owner, Jean, provided everything you could need or want. The kitchen is stocked full of every cooking ingredient or utensil. The unit is clean and nicely furnished.
It was rainy our first day there but Jean has provided games, cards, book and puzzles. She also left us some treats, coffee and creamer. Before we arrived she also sent us a list of nearby shops, activities and great places to eat.
We had a great time and would not hesitate to stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at this condo for 12 nights. We are a family of four with kids who are 14 and 9. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the lanai most days and enjoyed the wonderful ocean view and sunsets. The location was a convenient and short drive to many of the best beaches on the island and we also took several longer day trips. The condo had everything we needed and so much more. I appreciated having so many spices, condiments, beach toys, towels, etc. already provided and well organized. This made the trip very easy. We were "on vacation" from the moment we walked in. The condo is air conditioned, which was very comfortable. The condo property is well maintained, the pool and hot tub are nice with plenty of chairs and shade even in peak period, the office staff are kind and professional, and the vibe is very good.
Jean was wonderful to work with and provided all of the information we needed to enjoy our trip. I trust that if we had needed anything while we were there she would have taken care of it immediately. Fortunately, we didn't need anything because the condo was so perfect.
The only downside I noticed is that the beach at the condo is not great. I expected this from other reviews and so I was not disappointed. There is not much of a sandy area and it is not good for swimming. This didn't bother us because we were excited to visit the many wonderful beaches nearby. Although we didn't hang out at the beach, we still very much enjoyed being so close for the views from the condo and morning and evening walks along the shore. We even saw a napping sea turtle on one of our walks.

Jean was a great host. The main road outside the resort is very busy all day every day. The info has everything you would need. Beach area is only for walking not tanning. There are not to many places to casual dine in the immediate area of Kihei. I would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jean's condo. It was very clean and convenient. Jean was great at communicating and helpful.
Our kids loved the pool and we cooked out on the nice and clean grills every night.
The beach nearest the condo is a bit rocky, so you will need to walk a bit to find softer sand.
It was very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. It was about 30 minutes to get to Lahaina for some activities we had there.
Overall, we loved it. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Centrally located in Kihei; ocean views; air conditioning; and a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. Seriously, this place is better stocked than my own house. I hate going to rental properties that have been "sterilized," and the only thing left in the kitchen is salt and pepper. The fridge, pantry, and cabinets are stocked with everything--coffee filters, laundry detergent, hot sauce, you name it.
Power went out in Kihei for a few hours one night, and there were several lanterns and flashlights to use. Of course there were.
Owner was friendly, attentive, and available when needed.
The property and complex are great. It is a third floor walk up, but there are no neighbors above and again, ocean views from the lanai.
The pool area has an outdoor kitchen available with several gas grills and tools.
Beach is so-so: rocky and not terribly clear water. But it's not hard to drive to other, better beaches.
Overall, phenomenal place. Would totally stay there again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We came to celebrate a friend's 60th and had a wonderful stay here. The condo is comfortable, beautiful, and was full of supplies, from beach towels, snorkel equipment, condiments to laundry soap. There are dishes and cups of every kind, both for in condo use and near the pool. You have everything you need to cook every meal if you choose to.
We loved walking on the beach and heading to the Maui fishing pond and turtle resting place just a short walk away. It was quiet but close enough to drive to various excursions each day.
Check in was simple, parking was easy, and they have created wonderful signage and resources for information about the condo procedures, dining recommendations and ideas for excursions. It was crystal clear what was expected. I would absolutely stay here again and look forward to it. Thanks, Jean for a lovely stay and vacation spot.

Just went to Maui for the first time with my husband, small children and in-laws. This condo was perfect for us. Very clean and had all the kitchen supplies for us to make our meals and more. In-unit laundry is a huge plus. The location was perfect. The owner Jean was very communicative and helpful with all my questions. I would rommend this place and stay here again!

This unit is very well stocked! The kitchen had spices, oil, condiments in fridge. I was very impressed! The owner is very nice and communicates very well. The only downside is that it is on the 3rd floor and there is not an elevator. I was with 3 kids, so packing up all the luggage and groceries was a huge workout!

The property is a stone's throw from the beach, where we walked and saw a giant sea turtle resting on the sand our first day. The condo is very comfortable, clean with great decor and was fully stocked with amenities. There is a great recreation area with five bbq grills, a pool and hut tub, full outdoor kitchen and two saunas. Our host, Jean, was very nice and a great communicator. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Highly recommend! We stayed here for lil over a week. It has all required amenities to feel home and has beautiful view from balcony! It also has a pool and my kids really loved it! Kitchen has everything you need from baking to cooking! The location is also great with restaurants and groceries near by. This was our second time in Maui and we really enjoyed staying in Kihei and in this home. Jean is a great host and is highly responsive. No complaints and everything about this place was great!

This place was amazing!!! Location was perfect and was centrally located to a lot of the activities we were looking for. The 2 bedroom unit had everything you can want and the instructions and recommendations that Jean our host left us were very helpful. The AC units kept us comfortable and everything from the kitchen appliances to the plush bath towels made our stay like home. The view from the lanai and a nice cup of coffee was a great way to start the day! See picture attached. In summary, great place to stay with a fantastic host! This condo definitely exceeded our expectations! It was one of the cleanest and most well stocked condos we’ve ever stayed in, and had a beautiful (partial) ocean view! Jean was excellent with communication via email and phone. She has thought of everything to make her guests feel at home. I can’t express how beautiful this place was and how it is conveniently located close to anything you might want to do while staying on Maui. The condo was gorgeous with both a pool and a beach on site. Jean was easy to work with to get checked in, not to mention the notes left around the home to make you feel quite welcome. We comfortably housed a family of four and had no need to use the extra pull out couch.
I could go on and on. This place and the host is second to none, affordable, and beautiful. Can’t wait to come back!

Jean was very helpful with whatever questions we had. Fully stocked condo. From every kitchen gadget you can think of to all types of beach amenities. Umbrellas ,Chairs, scuba gear, toys and floats galore. Lovely mornings on the lanai drinking coffee and glasses of wine In the evening to view the sunset. Beds were extremely comfortable. Lots of good places to eat and beaches to go to if you were so inclined or just a short walk out to the beach itself. Would love to visit again

We had such an amazing time staying at Luana Kai on Maui. Everything was exactly as stated in the ad. The condo is close to the beach and has wonderful amenities. The owner is so kind and thoughtful. She thought of everything.
The condo is up on the 3rd floor, which was great for us as we had an amazing ocean view and sunrise/sunset view each day. The beds are medium hard which didn't bother us one bit. Our boys stayed on the sleeper sofa in the living room and they slept like rocks. There is so much to see and do on Maui that we barely spent any time during the day at the condo. We loved every single moment!

The condo was absolutely perfect from the moment we walked in. The condo was decorated beautifully with wonderful colors and is completely updated. I have never been to a condo so well stocked. The kitchen has everything you could possibly think of and more. The bathrooms are wonderful and she provides everything. The condo has everything you will need to go to the beach. After long days out we really enjoyed coming back to the condo and relaxing. It was very comfortable. In the evenings we opened the windows and loved the tropical breezes going through the condo, and had a wonderful nights sleep. We can't wait to go back and stay at Jean's condo again. She is a wonderful hostess and always answers any question you may have immediately. If we could give the condo 10 stars we would. Thanks again Jean for a wonderful vacation we will never forget.

This home was not only clean and comfortable it is wel decorated, well appointed and provided all that we needed. A snack basket was a welcome surprise and nice to have after traveling. The beds are very comfortable and the provisions in the kitchen were numerous.
It was a little warm in the evening but without ac that is expected.

My family including two young kids (6 and 4) stayed at Jean's place for three nights in June. First of all, Jean provided such detailed instructions that it made our check-in and our stay very easy. The place has a very nice kitchen and two beautiful bathrooms (if you care about that - we do!). The unit is stocked full of everything that you might need (tons of dishes and utensils, lots of linens and bath towels, extra toiletries, beach towels, beach toys, beach umbrella, beach chairs, boogie boards, and the list goes on). If you're looking at this review you already know that it's a convenient location. Even though close to many beaches, it's convenient to have a pool right downstairs. We also used the bbq grills (there are 5!) which were clean.
We hope to be back to Hawaii soon to stay here again. Thanks Jean!

My husband and I stayed at this condo for our honeymoon. It was the best vacation ever! Jean thought of everything and made us feel right at home. It was clean, updated and just beautiful in every room. It was close to town with great restaurants near by. Overall, amazing condo, friendly owner, great location with great views!!

The pictures of Jean's condo are exact depictions of the condo. What you see is what you get. Beautifully decorated. Clean. Well organized. Excellent, roomy lanai with a great view of the grounds and ocean. We loved hanging out there in the morning for breakfast and evening for dinner. Fantastic bathrooms and showers. And super well stocked condo. There wasn't one thing we found she had missed. We snuck peaks at a lot of other condo units in the complex and her's was by far the nicest. Jean was amazing to deal with. She was always prompt and willing to help. Impeccable service. Thank you Jean. Your condo enhanced our stay in Maui. We highly recommend staying here.
