Our stay in Kihei was fabulous thanks to our great location at Menehune Shores. We were provided plenty cooking utensils for our stay. Floor unit made access easy to the unit, to the beach, and to the car. We would definitely recommend this property to all family and friends.

We had an incredible time staying in Menehune 121. With two toddlers, the ground floor unit was perfect. We could open up the sliding door and the kids could play on the grass. The shallow protected swim area was awesome for them - they could play in the water without fear of being swept up by big waves. We saw 5-12 turtles out on the beach and the rocks EVERY DAY! HIGHLY recommend.

Owners and rental company were amazing to deal with! Had some minor issues with the condo which where responded to immediately. Unfortunately the ocean was not swimmable out front of Menehune, it was brown the entire stay, due to the recent rains:( north condo neighbour’s were miserable to us and our group as they do not like kids and let us know numerous times:( condo was extremely well stalked!!

We had a lovely stay. The only downside was the office closing at 2. I forgot my case for my binoculars up on the roof. The office was closed by the time I realized it and it was not open on the weekend to check lost and found. Everything else was great.

This property is amazing, the view , being able to walk out onto the grass and steps away from the beach is an experience that can't be beat. The condo fit five of us perfectly and having beach towels/chairs/coolers/umbrella/beach bags was an added bonus. Wonderful Christmas stay at this property. I did have an issue getting replies to my emails so I’d recommend calling with any questions (once I called, it was fantastic service) :) the views and beach access cannot be beat. The lanai was perfection! Comfy beds and lots of beach stuff provided. Perfect for little kids with the fish pond and grassy area right outside. I would return :)

Had a great time using the Menehune beach with kids. There were sea turtles mating at the beach. The pool is a great option for our younger kids too. The unit is on the first floor and being able to walk out with coffee in the morning to see the ocean was delightful.

Our only small disappointment was the lack of cooking spices which are nice to have when you only use such a small quantity. Overall, we had a blast and really enjoyed this unit… especially breakfast and dinners on the lanai watching the sunrise and the sunsets!

This condo is only a few steps from a very lovely beach that we enjoyed swimming in everyday. The unit is completely furnished with everything you need to have a great time. Unfortunately we did not discover the rooftop deck until the last night. If we had of gone up there sooner, we would have watched all of the gorgeous sunsets from up there with a great libation.
Also on our last night, there was a power outage, and there was a lantern in the closet to help us see.
Hope, the property manager is wonderful to work with and was very helpful. She always made sure we knew she was available for us if we had any problems.
We are hoping to be able to stay in this condo again in the future.

This condo is pretty old and beat up. We were quite surprised as the photos in the listing made it look beautiful. The floors were dirty, found a baby cockroach in a kitchen drawer, beds uncomfortable. There is a lack of basic kitchen essentials. The view and grounds however are beautiful. We wouldn’t stay here again, over priced for the condition of the condo.

The location of this property is what brought us back! We got married in Maui 5 years ago and rented a unit in the Menehune shores. So when we wanted to bring our kids to the island this condominium was our first search! Having the bottom floor was ideal with our kids and such a nice walk to the pool and the beach!
However, the cleanliness of this condo was not superb. Our feet were black everyday and with a crawling baby, it was pretty gross to say the least. We ended up mopping the unit ourself to try and clean it a bit so our children weren’t so filthy everyday. If the Unit was cleaner I would say 5 stars.
Barbra and micheal were amazing though and the manager Hope was super helpful when we needed help returning some rented baby gear before we left!!
Overall I would recommend this place if they just spruced up the cleaning!

I stayed for a week with family and friends. My son has special needs and we had room to move around with a wheelchair. There were some small steps around the property to navigate but for the most part this was accessible.
We loved the location so much! We could step out the back door and enjoy the gorgeous ocean view from the lanai or have a short walk to the ocean. Our intention was a relaxing getaway and this was the perfect spot. It is also convenient to the marina for boat outings.
We loved going down the stairway to the fishing pond to see the sea turtles sleeping on the beach and sea wall.
Overall a wonderful stay and we hope to come back soon!

We have stayed in Kihei several times, but this was the first time at this property. Communication with owners and management was excellent. We loved being on the main floor and having the lanai go out onto the front lawn and super easy access to ocean. Both bedrooms good size, as was both bathrooms. Easy walk to Aztec Mall and food trucks. Good amenities in condo... would recommend.!!!

We loved the ground floor which gave the kids easy access to a grassy area to run around. The beach is a short (somewhat rocky) walk from the patio. The rooftop area is a neat feature with great views. We appreciated the communication too. The heated pool area was nice.
Plenty of (small) parking spots available and a short drive to most anything you'll need in the Kihei area. The beds were comfortable. The height of the shower heads was laughable. I am only 5'9" so they worked OK, but for anyone closer to 6' or more I'm not sure how they would work.
Our biggest area of concern (other than the rocky walk to the beach) was the dirty floors. We had to wash our feet each night before bed because they were black. Beyond that, we enjoyed our time and would consider returning.

Enjoyed our stay here. Great location - easy access to different parts of the island and short walk with no need for stairs/elevator to get to sand beach without having to load up a vehicle. Appreciated the extras (coolers, beach chairs) that were provided for our use. West facing view from lanai for sunset and other beautiful sights was also a plus. We had a wonderful stay at this property. The condo is in a beautiful location just steps from the beach. The "fish pond" swimming area is wonderful and calm. You can walk long distances either way on the beach. The rooftop offers stunning views all day long and has plenty of seating and bbq's for everyone to use. The condo is well furnished with everything you will need. We had an issue with the refrigerator and the owner was attentive and responded immediately, corrected the problem and made sure we were taken care of. You will enjoy your stay here in lovely Kihei and never want to leave!

Michael and Baraba's condo was great for our stay in Kihei. The unit was clean and well stalked with a full kitchen, extra towels, laundry, and everything you need for a great day at the beach! The view from the condo is really what made it for us, though. The beach out front is small and quiet but just as beautiful as many of the other beaches we visited - even saw a few sea turtles. It is about a 5-10 min drive to many of the nearby restaurants or stores and about 40 minutes from Lahaina.
A side note for those worried about no AC: We are sensitive sleepers, so we personally struggled with there being no AC. Now, it may have just been the weather when we were there, though! There was no breeze our first night and the unit took a while to cool down even with the many fans Michael and Baraba provide. However, it was pretty breezy the rest of our stay, and the unit cooled off pretty fast.

I almost don't want to give a good review because I feel like I'll be giving away my hidden gem. From start to finish everything went smooth and was so much taken off me as the mother/wife/travel agent/tour guide/chef and chauffer . There were plenty of towels for both bathrooms so I would not need to do laundry in the large washing machine and dryer every day. There was a closet full of coolers, beach chairs, noodles, goggles, sun screen and boogie boards. Each day I would pull out a beach chair and park myself in it each morning at the beautiful sandy beach, coffee in hand, enjoying the sunrise while watching the many sea turtles move from the nightly safety of the beach back to the ocean.
I was a little worried there would be no air conditioning but honestly if there was any ac, I would have never used it. I left the screen doors open and the cross breeze was amazing, even in the bedrooms. Between the breeze and the sounds of the ocean waves we slept amazing. (The nightly wine on the lanai may have helped too).
It was so nice to have a full kitchen with almost everything we needed. (just missing a cookie sheet but aluminum foil worked). One stop at the local grocery store and all week we had sandwiches and snacks packed in out cooler for our afternoon excursions. (btw bonus points for thinking of re-useable ice packs). One evening we had a BBQ on the rooftop overlooking the ocean watching the sun set. One of our favorite memories (actually mine really because husband cooked and kids cleaned up) and I must add having a full size dishwasher also added to the point list and who ever thought of having all the detergents and soaps is a genius...that person needs a raise.
Ohh....Almost forgot....before we came I received a message from the care takers, who BTW are AWESOME, and they asked me if I would like the beds separated for the kids or kept together as one bed. Already thinking of me before I even arrived! They also left me a nice welcome note with goodies. (if my kids ask there were never any chocolates, wink wink). So to sum up my week the place is amazing. Clean, maintained, well thought out and the facility and grounds are just as amazing. and I can't ever imagine not coming back. So, don't be going around telling everyone because when you go to re-book and can't get any time, don't blame me.

Nice condo that is thoughtfully put together and stocked with needed items. The only thing that was lacking in the kitchen was a baking sheet or pizza pan and cutter (we easily improvised with foil and the available broiler pan). Good selection of beach gear to use if needed. The lack of AC is usually not a problem for us as the winds on Maui and the situation of the units allow for natural cooling. This trip however we had a gentleman decide to conduct a 4 am phone call on the sidewalk just under the bedroom window which had to be open for cooling purposes. The Paradise Comforts staff was very easy to work with and check in and check out went very smoothly. We really love the Menehune Shores location and have stayed in other units there as well. This is a nice condo in a great location.

Awesome walk out to the beach also extending the condo by having the front grounds as an extra room. The condo was very well equipped. Beach toys and beach chairs were an added bonus. No need to bring anything from home. The roof top bbq was very close by elevator. The weather, strong winds and rain, was not the greatest for the first two days but this condo was in the right side of the building for it not to affect us. We had five people in the condo; my elderly parents and my family of three and we found it big enough to give us all the space we needed. Thanks you for this wonderful stay.

My family loved staying at Michael & Barbara's condo. It is truly oceanfront and has a private feel since it is on the side of the condo building away from the trafficked pool area. You can walk straight out onto the beach or walk around to the right to a swimming cove with turtles where my 4 year-old was easily able to swim. Michael went out of his way to make sure we had a great trip since we had been concerned about recent volcanic activity on Big Island. Hope, the property manager, left us several treats and called to check in to see if we needed anything else in the unit during our stay. A/C was not missed given the strong cross breeze in the afternoon. We enjoyed driving out to Ahihi Bay for great snorkeling and visiting Makena beach! We got around Maui easily by car from the condo. The owners provide beach chairs, cooler and boogie boards. We also enjoyed eating out at 1054 Togoshi and Three's Bar & Grill in Kihei near the condo. Highly recommend staying here!

This property is everything it states and more. It is an above average condo from my experience with an outstanding view and lovely beach at your footsteps. You can get a similar view in Wailea but at a much higher nightly cost . The sunsets are awesome and the local beaches are lovely and uncrowded. The location is is perfect having easy access to the entire island. The only downfall I found in the condo is that the bathrooms are small and a couple has no room to share it. Therefore additional time must be budgeted to get ready each day.
