This unit was everything just as photos show and then some!! Very clean, updated, well stocked and had a wondeful ocean view from lanai. We also liked the location as it was close to St. Michaels Church and farmers market. This VRBO was well worth it! We hope to stay here again. The Property manager (Blake) was great as well.! Appreciated his timeliness in responding to my questions.

This beautiful unit is in the middle of town so restaurants, shops, and some historical sights are within walking distance. Owner has done a perfect job of furnishing everything you need for your stay. Slight hiccup at check-in with time and key situation but onsite management company made things right. We'd definitely stay here again.

What a fabulous condo right on Ali’i drive in downtown Kona. The pictures of the property are exactly what you get in person. The condo is fully equipped with everything you can think of related to kitchen tools/appliances, to beach gear, and more. The condo was spotless and updated which made for an easy and comfortable stay. The lanai was lovely to sit on early mornings or later evenings to enjoy the view of the ocean and good weather. There were two AC units which easily cooled down the condo when you were there for long periods and overnight. It also worked well when you returned from your outings to get things comfortable. TV, cable and internet options were great. The communication with Jojo was effortless and she was quick to respond to any concerns or questions. I would highly recommend this condo and I look forward to a return next year. Mahalo nui loa…..

JoJo is so sweet and her home is even nicer in person, more than i could have imagined! Pefect location and nice pool/bbq area. Was so nice and cool and smelled good and clean and fresh! Loved staying there being able to over look beach and Ali'i drive.. Best balcony on Allii if not all of Kona. Be carful about management thought, they aren't always welcoming. Would definitely stay in JoJos cando again. Recommend 100%

This is a great spot for walking access to historic Kona including restaurants, shopping, and dining. It is also convenient to the main highways leading to the Big Islands many interest spots. On this trip we were even able to see the night glow of Mauna Loa's current eruption from the Condo. The current eruption viewing area is about 45 miles from this location. Enjoy!

This condo is well located on the 4th floor of a building that fronts on Ali’i road. The view from the well-furnished lanai is of the beach across the street and the pool/landscaping below. It is quiet & not directly in the sun most of the day which is a plus!
The unit is perfectly furnished for 2-4 people with a great kitchen, comfortable furniture and everything you could possibly need for fun and adventure as well as just plain relaxing. Parking is included and walking to EVERYTHING is easy.

Our first impression was of how spotlessly clean and well-furnished the condo is. Our second impression confirmed the first, including a well-equipped kitchen. The condo is perfectly located in the center of the restaurant and bar district on Ali’i Drive. We have been to Kona a number of times and had done all of the sight-seeing, so this time, we decided not to rent a car and just hang out in Kona. We caught the bus from the airport and connected to the trolley which runs up and down Ali’i, and got off right in front of the condominiums. We used the trolley, which is currently free, to do grocery shopping, etc., and walked everywhere else. There is a small beach across the street from the condominiums, and we enjoyed just going there and sitting on the rocks with our feet in the surf. The condo doesn’t overlook the beach, but there is a nice view from the lanai. The condo is quiet for the most part. There are soccer courts adjacent to the bedroom window and tournaments were going on in the evening while we were there, but they finished up at 9:30 p.m. We did not find it a problem. One thing to be aware of is that while the address for the condominiums is Kuakini, they also front right on Ali’i Drive. This was the perfect condo in the perfect location for our visit. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This condo was well equipped with everything we need. It was incredibly clean and centrally located. We had great views and it was nice to be able to walk downtown to grab anything we needed or a quick drink. Our kids loved the pool ! It was so nice to have a full kitchen and bbq to use. This unit is really nice! It is spacious, nicely decorated, has everything you could need or want and is in a great location. It's really nice to be able to walk to all the shops and restaurants right on Ali'i. Joanna was lovely to deal with. We had no issues at all. Would definitely stay again when back in Kona. Loved our stay so much!

We loved this condo so much. Every thing we needed was available for our use, and my spouse loved the collapsible wagon cart for trips to the car. The WiFi was super fast and worked perfectly for my work from home days. The owners are fabulous and great communicators. The only thing that doesn’t give this condo 5 stars is something they do not have control of. The pool is beautiful and the landscaping is pretty, but it’s was cold and there’s no hot tub to warm up for the parents. Sadly, over Christmas the sun doesn’t shine on the pool area at all so it was very nice to not need sunscreen much, but we missed the lounging by the pool or a hot tub. We were also talked to about air floats in the pool, which surprised us as it wasn’t posted anywhere and our kids were very disappointed. Overall this is an amazing spot, with amazing owners, we would stay here again.

We had a great time. Property location is right in downtown Kona with convenient access to basically everything. The host was very responsive to emails and provided good tips for the week we stayed. Snorkel sets, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and boogie board are also provided. Thank you Joanna. Will definitely book this property again in the future.

Very relaxing and comfortable condo with view and sounds of the ocean, but still good privacy on the balcony- great place to lounge outside since the balcony doesn’t get the direct sun until later in the day. Easily walkable to anywhere in town and unless you were touring the island, you wouldn’t even need to rent a car. Our hosts were wonderful and maintained excellent communication with us before and during our stay. Will definitely rebook this condo for our next trip to Kona!

To gain a good understanding about this property, all you need do is read any the previous reviews. It has a great location and is very comfortable with close proximity to restaurants and Kona activities. Unfortunately, COVID-19 and restrictions associated with it played a part in a decision to depart the island early. If I could give the property manager more that 5 stars, I would! JoJo has made our previous stays so comfortable and easy but the with the onset of COVID-19 restrictions, she stepped up her support to a new level. Thank you JoJo!
As we departed Kona, the impact of tourist departures could be seen. Streets and shops were noticeably less populated. As you consider your next vacation, consider this unit and community of Kona. It is a great space to relax and enjoy Kona’s relaxed vibe.
