This was a great property in Kihei. I will say I was a little skeptical at first because of the picture of the palm tree right in front of the lanai. It is bigger now and you have a gorgeous view of the ocean from inside and out on the lanai. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was clean and well equipped. Especially liked the big coffee pot for the morning. The only thing I can say on improvement for this property is to get more comfortable living room and lanai furniture. The biggest upside to this property is location. We loved South Maui Gardens behind the property with the different food trucks, music, and craft fairs that go on there. We also did a surf lesson which was right across the street. We would absolutely stay here again!

I cannot describe how amazing the view from this unit is. At this price, you cannot do better in Kihei. This unit was unfortunately not available the entire time we stayed in Maui so we had other condo rentals to compare it to during out trip, some of which were quite pricey. This was everyones favorite.
The view, omg the view. Everything looks far away in pictures but the water is right there! Then you look to the left and Haleakalā is right there. The sunrise over the volcano is stunning and the morning sun shining on Molokini Crater was worth waking up early for every morning.
The building is so conveniently close to everything you want. Walk to Kihei village, the grocery store, bars, beaches, all of it. If you have a high maintenance Karen in your crew, they may complain about the subtitles that make this unit great. Yes the road is out front but after staying in a different condo away from the road with just a sliver of an ocean view, I'll take the road every time. This unit is VERY clean and surprisingly spacious. We have paid more for much less space and dingy condo's. The towels are Ralph Lauren and very nice! Plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, everything you could need or want. The pool area is also very nice and the Weber BBQ's are new and clean. Lots of other nice people staying there that are great to hang out in the BBQ area with. Yes the building is older, get over it. We are 100% staying here the next time we visit!

Wonderful unit with plenty of space for 4 adults. Wine on the patio with a clear view of the sunset over the ocean… comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Everything was exactly as pictured.
We hit up Costco on our way from the airport and had everything we needed in the kitchen for when we wanted to prepare meals in, but plenty of options within walking distance for eating out. (DO NOT miss the waffles at Kihei Caffee, or the fresh fish at South Maui Fish Co.) Want to lay on the beach? Small beach directly across the street or a larger beach less than 10 min walk south.
The chill vibe of Kihei was perfect for a post-holiday refresh.
Owner communicated promptly when VRBO was having issue with the posting and assured us we were in good hands. Check-in was easy peasy - full directions provided with a keypad lock to fit our schedule, and the check out list was completely reasonable. This property will be stored in my favorites and I will rent here again!

Building is old and some construction will be going on soon. The unit we stayed in has been upgraded but furniture is "tired." Garbage disposal doesn't work but remains in sink. The location is great, near shops, restaurants, grocery store, park and beach. Ocean view from unit is nice, obstructed only by a few trees. Lanai size is adequate. Ocean is just across the street. Unit was very clean and well equipped.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Very clean, and there are all the comforts of home here. The fully stocked kitchen, made preparing meals so much fun. Eating in, saved us lot's of money to spend on shopping, shopping shopping!!! We explored much of Maui, and must say that Kihei has a fantastic mix of things to do. We would stay here agin for sure!!

This rental was so comfortable and the location was so centrally located to everything we wanted to do it made our trip extremely enjoyable. What a great place to stay.Very clean with a great view. Watch the surfers and paddle boarders with your coffee in the morning and wonderful sunsets in the evening or walk across the street and watch from the park. Walking distance to some really good restaurants and bars. Super convenient. Throughly enjoyed the island and the condo.

The condo is easy to access. It includes several items for beach and sports enjoyment. Any questions I had ahead of time were promptly answered through the vrbo email. It was easy to feel at home there since there are ample supplies for cooking, entertainment and daily living. I highly recommend this condo.

Stay at the island surf condo was perfect. The instructions provided were very clear and it helped us check in even at late night as our flight was delayed. The house was so clean and it had everything one would ever need in a house. The view from the lanai was amazing! We could hear the beach waves from lanai. Beds were very comfortable and having two bathrooms was perfect for our family. Even a washer/dryer was available for us to do laundry while we were there. The kitchen has all the utensils you need for comfortable cooking. The host even left us a warm welcome present! Overall a great stay at a reasonable price in Maui and I would highly recommend anyone to book this place!

This 5th floor 2BR condo is conveniently located near the main beachfront road, with its shops and restaurants. It was also super well-equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. It was always easy to find a parking spot in back. Read ALL of the arrival info you get up front, as some key details for access are on page 3. The property manager was readily available to help us though. A great choice for staying in Kihei.

We loved our 9 day stay in this little condo! The keyless entry was a bonus and so convenient. The condo is really nice and the full panoramic view seen from the living room, kitchen and lanai is spectacular! This place was well equipped with everything we needed and more, and was conveniently located within walking distance to dining, shopping, a beautiful park, the beach, and shaved ice. What more could you ask for?! We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of four spent 8 amazing days at this spacious, we’ll equipped condo at a central location in Maui! The condo has modern amenities including high speed internet, very clean rooms and up to date furnishings. Local shops, surf stores, grocery stores, restaurants and beaches were all walking distance. Unlike the other towns in southwest Maui that are full of exclusive resorts, Kihei is very accessible. We enjoyed using the beach chairs, towels and umbrellas that were available at the condo, took advantage of the BBQ grills next to the pool and walked along the shores of Kalama Park across the street to watch the lovely sunsets! There is street noise because of the condo’s proximity to S. Kihei Road but it quiets down by bedtime and you learn to ignore it and enjoy Paradise. Would definitely stay here again if back in Maui!

Great condo and location by the beach, activities, resturants are all close by. The inside of the condo was nicely decorated and adequate. However, the building the condo is in pretty old and rundown looking, throughout the day there was a lot of street noise, construction noise, etc. Also, FYI, there is only an AC in the family room and none on the bedrooms, which was surprising for us.

I've already sent the listing to friends looking for their next place to stay in Maui. The location was perfect! Walking distance to shops and restaurants, and a grocery store - steps from the beach where we saw sea turtles. Audrea made the process of booking and checking in a seamless one. She made recommendations for local spots, and the building was easily accessible when we arrived three hours late from delayed flights. Rooms were clean and spacious, kitchen well stocked. We found ourselves going oh shoot, what about... And it would be there already. We cooked out using the grills, and jumped in the pool on one occasion - both easy to use. The balcony was great, with views of the ocean and mountains and lots of people watching. Price was reasonable as well. Overall it was great!

Spent a week in this well-maintained condo. It may not seem that way from outside but its well kept inside, great location, has everything you need - fully stocked kitchen, boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, sand toys for kids, playpen (if you have young kids) etc. Can't go wrong.

Thank you allowing us to stay at your beautiful condo on the beach at Kihei. For those considering this unit, I hope my review is helpful.
The property is located about 20-25 minues from OGG airport. It has amazing view of the beach and is literally steps away across the street from the beach parking lot. It is conveniently located within walking distance of grocery store (foodland) and other shopping and restaurants.
The owner was very easy to communicate with. The directions and instructions provided were perfect and very helpful. The Condo comes equipped with kitchen utensils, appliances such as fans in each room and airconditioner in the main living room/kitchen. We did not need the airconditioner since the breeze through the windows kept us cool. The washer and dryer in the unit is a big help to wash your beach clothes. Also, the kitchen is equipped with Dishwasher.
This location is convenient to all the beaches in Kihei area and there are some very nice beaches. The property, both the building, parking lot and the elevators felt safe during the day and evening.
The rooms are very airy and get good amount of day light. My family enjoyed the condo very much. The owner has also kept beach chairs and boogie boards for use. That is very kind and considerate. She also includes beach towels. Every little thing (such as can opener) is available at the unit.
The access to swimming pool and barbeque area is with a key. Overall, the building and the unit were very clean and neat.
We enjoyed our stay in Maui at Island Surf and will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to live in Kihei area.
The attractions such as Haleaka National Park, Road to Hana, Paia, Lahaina - Napili and Kaanapali beach are all easily accessible from this location. It was always great to come back from the trips to cool breeze on the lanai watching the ocean. The kids would go to play in swimming pool to end the day. Also, if we felt like eating out, there were many restaurants just steps away. Foodland which is a 5 minute walk was great to get groceries.
Overall, a great experience. If our plans bring us to Maui, we will be renting this place again.

We arrived at approx. 11pm, so had to wait until we woke up to see the view. It was breathtaking! It was everything that I had hoped for when travelling to Maui. Very nice park across the street for early morning strolls. A beautiful beach within walking distance which is located just beyond the black rocks that you can see from your terrace. Foodland grocery store is within walking distance. The condo was very comfortable and very clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was very nice to have beach chairs and a cooler included with the condo, used them almost every day. We loved our stay!
