This place has amazing ocean front views from both inside the condo and out on the Lanai. We spent every morning and evening sitting out on the Lanai enjoying the surfers and sounds of the ocean. The condo is very clean, well maintained, and relatively well equipped for cooking, etc. The only slight critique is that there is only one air condition and it keeps the common area very cool but the back bedroom was very warm even with fans on. Adding an AC unit to the back bedrooms would be a huge plus if the owners would consider this. It would also be nice if local recommendations and information were available in the condo, to add a more personal touch. But overall a very great place on the ocean!

My family of four enjoyed the incredible beach-front condo with all the amenities we needed. It was close to the town center, and the pool was a great escape from the heat. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a true ocean view property within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops of Alii Drive. Good size 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had almost everything one can need (except a baking sheet and pizza cutter) It is a bit warm in the bedrooms during the summer, when the nighttime temperature/humidity did not drop low enough for window opening, as there is only air-conditioning in the main room, but made do with the fans provided. Used the pool on property and walked to the tiny beach next door (would recommend water shoes to anyone who would want to go into the ocean there)and walked to restaurants for dinner. Check in/out very easy and ample available parking on site. Kona is in a good location for exploring the big island and we enjoyed driving to some beautiful beaches within 30 minutes as well.

A short walk from restaurants in Kona, this condo has a fantastic location. Large balcony with amazing view right on the water! Rare experience waking up to the sound of the ocean, sipping coffee in the morning, or a sunset cocktail. It is centrally located to go either direction on the island for all the sites.

Good location, a bit away from the shopping and crowds but close enough to walk to most restaurants and shopping.
Beds were a bit to firm for all of us.

This is the perfect escape from winter . The patio is perfect and we spent our mornings and evenings watching whales, dolphins, surfers and of course sunset . Until next year!

We loved our location as well as the amenities of our unit! We had everything we needed for enjoying meals in rather than always eating out every day for every meal. Bathrooms were so nice and we loved the soap/shampoo provided. There were 4 of us in our group and the space was more than adequate for all of us. It would have been helpful to have a "cheat sheet" for how to work the air conditioner and I recommend a good scrub down of the kitchen and tile. Couldn't help myself from wiping down the kitchen blinds but it didn't seem to bother the rest of our group. We would absolutely stay here again with no hesitation! The location is just perfect. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The view out the balcony is stunning and breath taking. We had many of our breakfast and lunches sitting and looking out onto the ocean. You can see grouping of Tangs off the balcony all day and in the mornings, there are pods of dolphins out in the distance. The unit is very neatly appointed with updated bathrooms, kitchen items, beach chairs, boogie boards & beach umbrella. We barely used the A/C in the living room/kitchen area as the ocean breeze & fans were enough to keep us cool ...even in August. The bedrooms got a bit warm in the afternoon's but again...the fans did just fine for us. The unit is incredibly clean. Walking distance to the main shopping strip on Ali'i drive. Food shopping in very close driving distance. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Mahi!

It’s the example of how a rental should be done. The location is perfect. It was furnished simply with Good Quality stuff. They had everything you needed and it was all easy to find. Excellent water pressure. Excellent washer and dryer. Excellent and I do mean Excellent view, sunset, and location.

My family and I have been returning to Kona for several years. We have stayed in several condos in this complex and have to say this has been one of the nicest. It is completely stocked with all you would need for kitchen essentials and beach supplies. The unit is very nicely decorated and has great lanai furniture. The views from this unit are amazing and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We enjoyed many sites all across the big island but could have easily just sat on the lanai the entire time. The view is fantastic. The condo is well stocked with everything you need for the beach and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance.

The property was great. However, it would have helped if we cold have gained access earlier. If it's ready before 4, why in the world not? Also, it's hard not having a property manager on site who knows anything about your unit. If something is amiss, what do we do? thanks.

Overall this was an amazing place, only a couple hiccups. The location was perfect to walk to downtown. The pool was nice and had a good view of the ocean. The layout of the condo was perfect, especially the automatic night lights, and having a washer/dryer was really nice. Plenty of beach towels were provided, along with beach chairs. Only 1 of the 4 grills by the pool had propane, but no biggie. Our view of the sunset was blocked by overgrown palm trees until we watched the trimmers do their magic (which was really cool) and then it was perfect. Be aware of the self-locking lanai doors (not the screen door). Our first night we got locked out and thankfully we had a cellphone to contact the property manager to let us back in. They responded quickly and we learned to not shut those doors ever again. We would definitely stay here again.

This condo was great for our family of four. You have a 180 degree view of the ocean. Love the sounds of the waves.
We were concerned about there only being air conditioning in the living room and not in the bedrooms but it wasn’t an issue. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses and utensils. The living area was large. The sofa in the picture for the listing is not the sofa in the condo. The sofa was a more Hawaiian style one which wasn’t the most comfortable but was plenty big plus we didn’t spend a whole lotta time in the condo. The one drawback of the living room was there aren’t any curtains or shades to block out the afternoon sun. My husband had to sit with his sunglasses on to watch tv. Luckily we were here in the winter so it was only an hour or two but I could see that it would be longer in the summer. I definitely suggest adding some shades to make it more comfortable.
The property manager was great and quick to communicate with us when we had an issue with the front door handle sticking.
The condo is in a great location only a short walk to restaurants and stores plus there’s a small beach right next door.
We would absolutely rent this condo again.

Great location just two blocks from restaurants and shops. This place had everything we needed. The view of the sunset was gorgeous. It would have been nice if the people above or below us not sure which wouldn’t have smoked their cigarettes on the deck and ruined the deck experience for us. This was supposed to be a non smoking property.
Overall we had a great stay and would recommend it for an enjoyable vacation stay.

This property was everything and then some. Clean, spacious, a view that never gets old. The beach chairs and boogie boards are a nice amenity. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook delicious meals, but if you want to go out to eat, restaurants are close by. We enjoyed the pool and loungers. Sitting out on the balcony to watch the amazing sunset capped our days. We will be back.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here!
Check-in was easy and the owner was very accommodating with questions before we came! The condo was very clean and the perfect amount of space for us. The view from the patio was gorgeous, we spent a lot of our time hanging out there listening to the waves.
It is close to the center of Kailua-Kona! We walked everywhere from the condo because everything was so close!
We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Quiet was spoiled by jackhammering and saw cutting tile in condo underneath and by cement trucks… beeping as they drove under my open window. Pool still under construction as well as condo underneath. Noise started at 7 am the first morning. Quiet time rules were not respected. No coffee on the deck and no turtles on the rocks due to noise, dust:fumes. First time in this particular unit. Thought it would be ok the bedrooms didn’t have air but there were several days trade winds didn’t blow and it was quite warm even w the ceiling fan and fan on the floor. Would not stay here in the summer when trade winds don’t blow. Wear flip flops to keep your feet from getting dirty from the tile and kitchen mats. Stove has one large not working burner that looks like it has been broke for a long time. Oven has a lot of dirt and wear marks that don’t wipe off. Someone has painted the bottom stove drawer which doesn’t match and looks more poor. Dishwasher doesn’t work well. Have to open the soap pod as it doesn’t open in washer. Dishs don’t come very clean. Have stayed in multiple other units on this property and have always enjoyed the view. Usually saw turtles every day and loved listening to the sound of the ocean. Location is good. Had fun inspite of it all but it was disappointing. owners are not keeping it up.

Great view in the morning watching parasailing and surfers from the lanai. Awesome sunsets. The walk to the beach is .14 miles and easiest if you cut through the parking garage. Pool area is really nice. Our main concern before arriving was only air conditioning in the living room. We were here in August and only turned it on when we arrived to cool down the unit which had been closed up. Opening the windows and screen door brought in a cool tropical breeze. I even needed a blanket at night. Walk to town down the access road instead of Ali’ drive was a shaded .65 mile walk to the center of town. Exactly 1 mile to Fish Hopper. Only negatives. We couldn’t figure out how to get the water in the shower to come through the over head nozzle instead of the hand held and the mattresses were a little firm for our liking. I would definitely stay here again. It was a lovely unit.

Clean, comfortable and right on the water. We loved waking up to watch the surfers, spinner dolphins and turtles from our balcony snd coming home poke and sunsets on the large.balcony. The roaring sound of the waves crashing steps from the condo was just what we needed.
