We did not rent a vehicle in Maui - just walked, bus, and a couple of Uber rides. This location was so convenient to all we needed. Pam is very hospitable and helpful. The deck is my favorite place in Kihei!

I have so many wonderful things to say about this cottage and Pam, the most gracious host ever!!! The pictures don’t do this place justice….it’s so cute and the perfect size for a couple. Perfect location- walking distance to the beach, shops, grocery. Pam is so nice and caring - she even shared some herbs and produce from her organic garden with us. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the treehouse cottage while visiting Maui for our anniversary and my birthday. Everything was comfortable, clean, and quiet. We felt very much at home here. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance, as well as groceries, and a local beach park where we saw a couple of beautiful sunsets. The bed was super comfortable, shower was heavenly, and the kitchen stocked with all we needed to make a few meals. Pam and Juan were perfect hosts, making us feel welcome but also respecting our privacy. We would love to return someday! Mahalo for making our short stay here so wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay here. The treehouse is so nicely appointed with everything you need: dishes, spices, ice packs, cooler, tupperware, etc. The place was clean and so nice! Unfortunately we came when it was ant season, and we had quite the group of flying ants in the room one night. However, as soon as I notified Pamela, she immediately responded by personally removing all of the ants and spraying the unit with ant spray. We didn't have any more problems after that! I really appreciated Pamela's welcoming attitude and responsiveness.

This place is perfect for a couple. You're close to shops, restaurants, and beaches yet in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is large enough for actual cooking, Pam and Juan provide a cooler and beach towels which is very convenient for travelers, and there are great views in all directions (including from the shower!). With so many windows and the ceiling fans, we found it quite comfortable without turning on the AC unit. My only complaint is that the single upholstered chair in the living room is too small for 2 people to sit on together unless you want to be touching each other (not when it's warm, thank you very much!), so that's not ideal if you like to watch TV, but there's one in the bedroom too. Having this convenient place to return to each day made our Maui trip much more pleasant!

We thought the property was wonderful! It is a quality construction, very comfortable, and provides everything we needed during our stay that week. A private neighborhood, yet easily accessible to stores and shopping. Pam was very helpful and responsive to any questions or needs that we had. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone asking!

I can't say enough about this stay at the Maui Treehouse! It was such a great experience! Pam had touched base with us prior to our arrival and the apartment was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Juan and Pam even went above and beyond with providing extras like boogie boards, snorkels, beach chairs and towels, bikes, and a cooler. Pam gave us excellent recommendations of areas to visit while on Maui. Both Juan and Pam were friendly hosts who enjoyed sharing their knowledge about the island. We would stay here again and we highly recommend the Treehouse.

The monkeypod 'treehouse' is the perfect get-away! It is tucked away from the busier tourist scene but still close enough to all the Kihei shops and beaches. My favorite thing was the ocean view and just sitting outside on the lanai to relax and there's even a partial ocean view and beautiful tropical views from inside the large living room and kitchen windows. You really feel like you are in another world and it is very quiet and peaceful. Enough good can't be said about this place and the kindness of the hostess and her husband really help you feel right at home. They have really created something special and I'm so happy I was able to stay there!
