Could not have imagined a more welcoming space to inhabit! The views were spectacular, the unit was spacious and clean, and the location was central to all our activities. We would happily stay again but found it is solidly booked for many months ahead! Understandable, but sadly not a well kept secret LOL

stayed in Kona for a weekend. would have liked to know that unit was up several flights of steps. But had lots of extras such as laundry soap for doing laundry. great communication with owner. good location. free parking. would be good to know where the actual unit is (park near the end othe parking lot by the poot, unit is in last building mauka side, up first set of stairs). very clean. a/c would help.

Lovely condo within walking distance of keauhou bay. Near many water activities and shopping. I really prefer this quiet area over Kona town. Have dinner or breakfast at the Outrigger or the Kona country club. This is a quiet oasis

Bonnie was easy to communicate with. Having a travel crib was a lifesaver. The view was amazing! We loved being able to watch the ocean sunset every night. Quiet little complex, which we loved, yet easy access to almost everything!

Location is great. Quiet neighborhood and has a beautiful view of the coast from the lanai. We hear song birds all day. Lanai is nice for breakfast with a view. Having snorkel gears, boogie boards, and baby floatie are a plus. Those can use a little more cleaning, though. The house itself is generally clean and comfortable. we just ran into one issue, trash was not left under the sink and was not thrown out by the previous guests or the cleaners. The unit has lots of fans inside which really helped to keep the house cool. No A/C unit. Kitchen is complete with pots, pans, utensils, cups, plates, etc, which was such a big plus to our stay as we cooked our own breakfast everyday. I would suggest adding a jar of ground coffee, though. 3 flights of stairs to the unit so if you have big luggages it wouldnt be ideal. We had 2 hand-carry size luggage and a toddler, it wasn't too bad going up to the unit. The owner Bonnie is easy to communicate with for any questions. 50 minutes from Hapuna Beach, 1 hr 30 minutes from Black Sand Beach, a little over 2 hours from volcano. Overall, I would recommend this place. Very comfortable, beautiful view, quiet.

This place has all the essentials! We only stayed 2 days, but this place allows you to enjoy a beautiful sunset while having all the amenities for a relaxing vacation! From chairs to umbrellas to spices for cooking to a cooler, this place allows you not to have to worry about a thing and just go explore Big Island! Would definitely recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Communication with the manager and the entire check in process was excellent, and the property was very clean and well stocked with linens and supplies for cleaning, as well as resources for going to the beach and cooking. I wish we could have stayed longer and took advantage of the well stocked kitchen.
Additionally it was only a few minutes away from the Fair Wind tours. There was a delightful artisan fair right down the road too.
I definitely recommend this place and hope to stay again.

From breakfast on the balcony and dinner enjoying the sunsets, and everything in between. We needed nothing except food for the kitchen. Everything provided for beach days, right down to a cooler. Bonus washer and dryer in condo. Two bathrooms. So breezy, we didn’t even miss our central A/C at home. One of our best VRBO stays ever.

We had a wonderful 16 days on the Big Island! The sunset from this condo is amazing! The condo is very well equiped with anything you might need for cooking your meals or going to the beach! There is no air conditioner in this unit, but there are plenty of fans in the condo to keep air moving, so we did not have a problem sleeping. Thank you Bonnie! Hope to return soon!

This was our first vacation as a family of 4 and the rental had everything we needed. Full kitchen to make breakfast and lunch, coolers, umbrellas and towels to bring with us to the beach and more than enough room to clean up and relax. Very good rental and would stay here again!

Well, nothing to complain. Contact with the owner quite quick and easy. Checkin instruction provided in advance and good enough. With polish climate we were afraid about missing Air-co, but in the end it was not needed - we were beg of Oct and open windows and fans were good enough. Location pretty good, but car recommended, nearest shoping centre ar 1km. Beach (white sand) around 4km. Kailua, nearest city centre ar 15' by car. Summarising, if we will visit Kona we to stay int this place again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Nice open floor plan and the two bathrooms were handy. Unique pull down bed in living room area worked out just fine for our needs and we were surprised by how well equipped the unit was with everything we needed for our stay. Towels, beach towels, laundry soap and dryer sheets, tissues, tp, kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and all sorts of utensils. We were really surprised about how well stocked it was. The only one potential negative was that although the unit was well equipped with many floor and ceiling fans it was still very hot. The pool was so nice to cool off in and is just across from the unit.

We enjoyed our stay at this stylish, well appointed condo. It is located south of the busy Kona downtown area and is very close to a supermarket and other amenities. The swimming pool is just across the parking lot, and the view is wonderful. The temperature was pretty warm while we were there, but the ceiling and floor fans and the new sun shade on the balcony helped to keep the unit comfortable. The owner responded quickly when we had a questiion.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was perfect for four people (2 couples), having a parking space was very handy, and the view was beautiful! We loved watching the sunset on the lanai. The location was fantastic - we did day trips to the north and south parts of Big Island and this was a perfect home base location.

This is really a very comfortable condo with a beautiful view of the ocean. The unit was very well-equipped as well in the kitchen as regarding washer/dryer or beach items and towels. It was also very clean. The unit is quite spacious. Even if the Murphy bed is out, you can still enjoy the living room and lanai, as well as the kitchen and dining area (anyhow it´s much nicer to sit on the lanai). Both bathrooms are spacious and inviting. The pool is heated and not much frequented and a good option for a jump in when you come back from your activities. Although the unit does not have AC, the temperature was no problem for us with ceiling fans in all areas. Bonnie was an excellent host. The communication was very easy and responsive. Check-in via the lock box was easy.
To put it in a nutshell: We really enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend Bonnies place.

First let me say that the view is beautiful and the unit was the most well-equipped place we have every stayed in through VRBO. It has a huge kitchen with everything you would need to fully cook at home. Also many beach items and towels. It was also very clean.
However...the communication situation was terrible. We were not sent the final email with the codes to the lockboxes and VRBO did not have the information either. Numerous attempts to reach the owner through phone calls, texts and emails went unanswered for over an hour. We were able to finally track down a manager-type person who had a phone number of someone else who should have the code. That person called us with the code. We were able to get into the unit an hour and a half after our check in time, and VRBO had almost moved us. It was 90 degrees out. The owner called AFTER we were in and sent the final email at that time. A couple of nights into the stay, a dog was yelping outside of our building for at least an hour. We went out after about 20 minutes, but no one else came to do anything. I called the two "emergency " numbers listed--one of which we were told was for building maintenance issues, and the other number no one answered. We got very little sleep that night.
And I would not stay in the summer season. The unit was listed as not having AC, so we were aware of that, but other reviews indicated it wasn't a problem. It was. It was upper 80's when we were there and did not cool off at night. The trade winds were still during that time and the brick building held the heat. There was no way to get the apartment cooled down. We couldn't be there in the later afternoon, and again, sleeping was miserable.
So, while it is well appointed and has a lovely view, we will not stay there again if we return to the Big Island.

This is a good place to stay near Kona. It is as described with a comfortable bedroom and a murphy bed in the living room where our kids slept. The only things we didn't love about it were it's not walkable to anything and some of the people in the condo weren't the friendliest. The HOA rules were somewhat cumbersome (lots of threats of your car being towed and no jumping in the pool) but overall, we were happy and would stay here again.

This is a very comfortable condo with a stunning view. Although it did not have AC, the temperature was pleasant with ceiling fans in all areas. The kitchen was well equipped. Pool is almost like having a personal one since very few used it. The location was perfect for us since the shopping center with grocery store was close and my husband walked to Keauhou Bay to take a snorkeling trip on the Fairwinds. It could do with some minor refurbishments, e.g., new pillows, new towels, etc.

We really enjoyed our week long stay. It was clean and comfortable. The view of the ocean is spectacular. It’s a good quiet location. It’s easy to get to Kona and other parts of the island, but it’s not in the middle of the chaos. The pool is very nice. It’s easy to get to the surrounding beaches as well.
This condo does not have air. We worried at first, but truthfully the air conditioning was not needed. The nice temperatures and the wind kept us comfortable.
We loved the Manta Ray Night Snorkel through Sea Paradise and the Luau which both occur right down the road at the Outrigger hotel.
If we return to Hawaii we will try to stay here again.

We are leaving today - our experience has been amazing. This place is outfitted with everything anyone would need. The Murphy bed is out of the way, so you can still enjoy the living room and lanai, as well as the kitchen and dining rooms, while it’s out and in use. Both bathrooms are spacious and inviting. The pool is heated and we actually opted to just come back and jump in there versus the ocean because it’s warm and has an ocean view. The views from the lanai are insane, we saw whales, rainbows and lots of awesome boats. We are very pleased with our stay and will keep this as a favorite from now on!

We enjoyed our two-day stay here. The apartment was clean and stocked. The view of the ocean is as shown. The host responded quickly to all questions and the residents at the complex were friendly. There was plenty of room for 3 of us. There was some noise in the morning (mowing at the golf course, traffic) but this is out of the congested Kona area. Easy parking and access to market.

The Amazing view was the best thing. Very, very noisy location, due to traffic racing at night, with cars without mufflers, to constant leaf blowers. Yard peoples tools filled the apt with gasoline fumes in the morning. Also interior is tired looking. Plus sides: property owner delightful, view was great, and location for touring southern part of the island was perfect. Priced appropriate for this unit.

Bonnie was an excellent host. She was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Check-in was via a lock box which was easy. Our son joined us for a few days and used the Murphy bed, which I understand was quite comfortable. With the portable room divider, it worked out very well. Having our personal BBQ was a treat, as we ate in most of the time. We ran out of propane one evening and a full tank was delivered the following day. The view from the balcony was excellent and we took many pleasant walks down to the shoreline. The condo has everything you need and the washer/dryer worked well. We had the odd visitor (small lizard) three or four times and were easily able to redirect them to the doorway to exit the condo. A little reminder of where we were. ;). Suggest visiting Kona Chips nearby and hiking to Green Sand Beach at Southpoint. If you want to try the best malasadas, go to Tex Drive Inn at the north end of the island. It is worth the trip.

We stayed a month and couldn't have been happier. The bed is firm and very comfortable. Chairs in the living room and on the deck are also very confortable. The unit had everything and it is in very good condition. The location in Keauhou is great - close to stores, close to restaurants, and very close to Captain Cook for the best local restaurants and snorkeling at two step! Wonderful stay! Our best ever in Kona!

This was a wonderful little condo with amazing views. The kitchen was well stocked and all supplies needed for cooking. The pool was cleaned daily and the grounds are beautiful. Bonnie was great at communicating and continued to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would stay here again if visiting the island.

My husband and I just spent a week in this condo. The location was perfect for us, quiet neighborhood, except the darn roosters in the morning. We like to explore a lot, and it felt like a good location to start our day trips. The condo itself has everything you might ever need. Very comfortable. Beautiful daily sunsets - guaranteed. The pool at the complex was not busy at all, we usually had it to ourselves.
One thing that might be important for some, there is no AC. We did just fine without. The place has ceiling fans in every room. They also provide multiple floor fans.
The view from the lanai is priceless! We loved this place.

The location, view, and amenities were excellent. All of the equipment one could ever need was provided. The location was ideal for doing all the wonderful things on the island we love.
