This is our third time in this unit over the past few years. It is in a great location, extremely well equipped with kitchen utensils, really nice glassware, plastic ware for the patio, beach chairs, tons of towels, etc. We appreciate the nice appliances too. I've mentioned before that an upgrade on the mattresses and pillows would be a great benefit for better sleep and an up-size in the living room television would be great! Unfortunately this stay, we had a family of five in the condo above us that had total disregard for the fact that their were residents below them. After two reminders from Maui Rentals with no change in their behavior, we almost moved to a hotel to get away from the 24/7 stomping, running and scraping of chairs, but couldn't bite the bullet for the cost of that. Despite the unwanted noise from them on this trip, this is a delightful place to stay.

This unit was spotless and better equipped than any condo I’ve ever stayed in. It is a beautiful ground floor unit with stunning ocean views and a large lanai, which we used daily. The two bedroom, two bath unit is nicely appointed, but we were especially struck by the quality of the durable goods in the unit - from the dishware and cutlery to the beach towels, chairs and umbrella. The owners have thought of everything. Just sit back and enjoy. Aloha and Mahalo to the owners.

Booked this unit, and right from the first moment, everything was handled professionally and swiftly.Payment process was explained clearly, we were notified about the dates and when information would be supplied and it was all on-time, and concise. Arrived at the unit late at night, we were tired and the everything was ready. The next morning we could really check out the unit. This place is great. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and there is nothing more we needed. The unit has beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler bags, and everything you need for the beach.Also there was even some tools and some WD-40 to fix a sticky kitchen window latch. We did need to call maintenance for a running toilet valve, and it was fixed the very next day.The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, there was an abundance of towels, and other amenities.The renovated kitchen is wonderful. We had stayed at the Palms in non-renovated units and the kitchen is kludgy. This updated kitchen works so much better than the original designs. Kudos to the owners for the redesign.Overall, this is a great unit, incredibly well stocked, and albeit it could have been cleaned a bit better (floors were gritty), I would love to stay at #1507 again.

Many good things, and a few not so good things. PROS: great views, nice furniture indoor and outdoor, comfortable beds, A/C worked great, nice location near pool. CONS: the floor was really sandy and dirty when we arrived, paper products like toilet paper, Kleenex, coffee filters, were very low in supply, no safe for guests to use, stay was great until there were guests on second floor who were very noisy. I replied to the management property when they asked for a review. They said they were sorry that it happened, and we should have called them to come clean the floors and stock the supplies we needed. In my opinion, when you pay a considerable amount of money in advance for cleaning, the place should be clean and stocked and we should not have to wait around for them to come clean. Not having a safe, we were not going to let them come when we were not there. Our stay was about $500 a night including all taxes and charges and for that I expect a little more service. Also, a coffee pack for the guests for their first morning would have been nice. We got in late and didn't have time to go to the store the first night. A welcome coffee would have been nice the next morning.

This is our second time staying in this unit. It is well appointed, nicely decorated, spacious and just overall lovely! Short drive to the sunset (we always park in the shops and walk down through the Marriott), but also a nice sunset sky from the patio if you want to stay in. We used the grill two of the six nights that were were there. Again, another nice feature of this condo. There is a ton of room to spread out (even though it is just my boyfriend and me), two full baths and two bedrooms. The new LG Washer and Dryer are top notch, the Bosch dishwasher is the exact one I have at my home. The knives for cooking are sharp, not like in most other rentals, and there are a gazillion choices for dishes, glassware, etc. The wine glasses are a nice unexpected luxury. So very surprised to see that quality of stemware in a rental for sure. We will stay here over and over, again and again. Rentals Maui is excellent to work with, easy process the entire way.

This incredible condos standout was the huge linei. You will spend more time outside than anywhere and for good reason! So well stocked with everything you could need, especially the kitchen. This place is so nice and the location cannot be beat. Also so close to the pool!

We stayed for a week at this property and it met all of our vacation needs. Extremely well-appointed unit (full kitchen, gas grill, washer/dryer, all the beach gear we needed and more) that was very spacious and relaxing. It has a large lanai with plenty of outdoor furniture to lounge on and a full table to eat your meals outside. 2 minute walk across the grass to the pool with a great view of the ocean and some spectacular sunsets. 5-10 min drive to half a dozen great beaches. 10 mins south of Kihei for shopping/dining. We would definitely return for a future stay when we visit Maui.

A family of four, we stayed a week in this condo in June and could not have been more pleased with everything it offered. We chose it specifically because of its location, and the fact that it was ground floor and had plenty of seating for all of us to lounge together in the living room.
I was so nice to walk straight off the lanai to the gorgeous pool (a 2 minute walk), and to have the gorgeous lawn of the complex right outside our door for our boys to run around. The condo complex was very quiet and beautifully maintained. There is a creek running down the middle of it that our boys loved playing in. Birds of all varieties came to visit us on the lanai every morning at breakfast, including a quail family.
The condo itself is probably the best stocked condo we have ever stayed in. They had extra trash bags, dish soap, dryer sheets, Pam, dishwasher pods, sugar packets - all the stuff that I usually have to pack with us or buy. The cooking utensils, pots and pans, and knives were all actually good quality and made cooking in the condo a breeze (this is pretty rare for vacation condos).
The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. I don't know that it would work as well for two couples, because the doors/wall to the second bedroom are more like shutters than an actual wall, but for us it was great and we would absolutely stay here again and again.
They have air conditioners in both bedrooms and in the living room, but we only turned them on at night, as they really weren't needed during the day.
We were there at the end of May and the first week of June, and had a perfect view of the sunset right off of the lanai. There is a great view of the sun setting right over the ocean from this condo at this time of year. We met some people that were staying in the condo right across the lawn, and their view wasn't as good, so they came over to watch it from our lanai nightly.
It is possible to walk to Mokapu and Ulua Beach, maybe a 10-15 minute walk, but we usually drove (about 5 minutes) because we were carrying all kinds of snorkel gear and beach chairs. Beach chairs, boogie boards, and several little coolers were available in the condo (and nice beach towels!) and we were very appreciative of those amenities.
Truly, the owners have done a wonderful job with this place and we would not hesitate to book it again.

My family really enjoyed our time at this unit. It is a relatively small unit but more than adequate for a family of 4. The lanai was our favourite part - it was quiet and comfortable with a nice view.
We did not cook at the unit, but the kitchen appeared to be fully stocked with most dishes/appliances that you would need to cook.
Appliances were all in working order. The unit had beach-related accessories (umbrella, chairs, boogie board, etc) which was a nice touch.
The closest beach was a 10 min walk (or 2 min drive) away. Kihei is a 10 min drive away, so location-wise, ideal.
We found the pillows less comfortable, but we’re picky about pillows and travel with our own!
Overall, a really fantastic stay. I liked the unit even better in person (vs. photos). Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Unit #1507. We’ve been coming to Maui for more then 20 years. We really love The Palms at Wailea and always try to stay there if possible. This unit has been one of our favorites to date. The furniture is very comfortable ( and as we get older that matters 😉). The kitchen was very well appointed and had everything we needed and more. My favorite part however was the lanai. Ate every meal outside and laid on the sofa to read or take an afternoon nap. Great view of the ocean and part of the West Maui Mts. Of all the units at the Palms this one is probably our favorite. This is a ground floor unit but there are a few steps needed to access the unit (if mobility is an issue). The only negative I can imagine is that people do walk by the lanai as they walk through the common area - if privacy is really important to you.The management company was excellent. We had a minor problem with the TV that we could have dealt with but they insisted on having the cable company come out to try and fix. It ended up being a problem with the TV, so the owners had a new TV purchased and placed in the unit the next day. Truly A+++ service.

10 min walk to the beach and clean property - what more could you ask for! Our 2 yr old played in the front lawn while we lounged on the wondeful patio furniture. We ate almost every meal outside - enjoying sun sets and the cool night air. Would definitely stay here again! Rentals Maui was awesome to work with - we sent a few things on Amazon their way and they made it easy to pick up.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! There was enough room for my husband, myself, and our 2 teens. The condo is well stocked, clean, and comfortable. The beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and boogie boards were a huge bonus. We spent most of our time in the spacious outdoor living space with comfortable furniture, shade, and spectacular ocean views. The corner unit is the perfect location near the pool and water feature on the property and short walk to a great beach. I didn't want to leave! The only downside is that the units are not very sound proof and we had lively neighbors upstairs who liked to stay up till the wee hours, but you can't control that. One of the best properties we've ever stayed in. I hope to be back next year.

This condo was great in so many ways! Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) was very comfortable, and we all felt we had enough space. It was very clean, and it may be have been the most well stocked rental we have ever stayed in. There were lots of kitchen items and great beach gear. We enjoyed using the cooler for trips to beaches. Our favorite part was the outdoor area; we would enjoy coffee in the mornings, drinks at sunset, and dinner and relaxation in the evenings. The Palms complex itself was quiet, and we felt we had lots of privacy in our unit. We did have an issue with the hot water heater, which was quickly addressed that same day (a Sunday!). The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do in Maui. We highly recommend this rental!

We recently returned from a 2 week stay at the Palms at Wailea. The location is perfect- a short walk to beautiful Keawakapu beach, and close to Wailea and Kihei. The condo is immaculate and very comfortable, and is perfectly situated within the comple. There is an amazing view of the sunset , Lanai and the West Maui mountains from the lanai, as well as the lush landscaping of the Palms. We have stayed on Maui numerous times over the years, and this was our favorite accomodation by far. We were also extremely happy with the management company for ease of booking as well as helping us coordinate an early check in as I was travelling with my elderly father.We did not want to leave!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 nights in this condo. It is well equipped, clean and very spacious. We had a problem logging onto wi-fi when we arrived (very important to teen son) and the management company were very responsive and got it sorted for us. If we had had any other problems I feel they would have been very helpful but luckily we did not. The lanai was great for sunbathing or eating and the complex itself is well maintained, lovely grounds/pool etc.
If I had one comment to help future travelers it would be to note that there is only 1 a/c until and it is in the master bedroom. We knew this before we booked. We live in Houston, TX so warmer weather is not unusual to us, but if you like your indoors icy cold you won't achieve this (especially not in mid July when we arrived). During the day we simply opened the front door and lanai doors (both had screens) and let the breeze work it's magic. I wondered if it would bother our son in the second bedroom but it was no problem.
Wailea itself is a great base for exploring the island and has lot's of little pocket beaches to explore.

Great Value. Our kids had a blast and enjoyed the condo. No aircon other than in the master so it got pretty hot during the day. 10 minute walk to nearest beach but you do need a rental car which you should have on Maui in any case. Furniture and decor are somewhat dated but all in all a great deal.
