I stayed in the studio apartment for just over a week and it had all of the amenities needed. The property was clean and well maintained. It’s steps away from a beautiful beach and minutes away from local shops.
The kitchenette was fully loaded and gives the flexibility of making your own meals. I bought groceries for breakfast and lunches and ate out for dinners.
I highly recommend this property for anyone considering this trip!

This was a wonderfully appointed condo. The desk staff was so welcoming and kind. The only issue was a security guard who was a bit too harsh in his monitoring of the property, said some very rude things to me and other guests (while one other guest was making his steaks he mentioned white privilege and how he had to eat ramen because of all the whites here) he was also aggressive with speaking to my teenage daughter and shining lights into peoples cars at night. Considering the way tourism has negatively affected the culture of Maui, I took it with a grain of salt and would definitely return. I understand the security guard’s sentiment, but he was pretty much harassing people left and right.

Our stay here in kihei was really fun. The condo was clean and had all the necessities. The TV was a Roku with apps. The king sized bed was comfortable and came with a variety of pillows to our liking. And the area was quiet at night. The only thing that could have been better was the AC unit. The condo had 1 window unit AC and it just could not cool off the whole place. The cool air only seemed to stay in that one corner of the room the unit was located, and kihei was quite hot this time of year.
But overall, our stay was quite pleasant and we had a lot of fun on the island.

This was essentially a studio apartment that was perfect for an individual or a couple. It was clean, near restaurants and food trucks, near the beach and quiet. It included some nice extras like boogie boards, swim fins, beach chairs, etc. I really enjoyed the ability to open the windows and the window above the door in the evening and enjoy the cool breeze overnight. Never used the A/C. If I return to Maui, I will rent this unit again.

As usual the place is perfect for me. Things to be repaired..... window over the door lowest pane falls out if you open it wide. Freezer door bottom hinge is missing a screw and doesn't close well. Don't forget leaky roof. Rentals Maui great to work with.

Great communication. Excellent location. Complex was in good shape well taken care of but unit we stayed in our use a little love. Met our needs but there were a few things that could be replaced or repaired deck chair quite bent not very stable. Coffee maker leaked at times sink and tub needed a bit of scrubbing beach chair broken perhaps dispose of the 2 beach umbrellas that are not functional. Freezer opened every time we closed the fridge. Tbh these are little things but being an owner of my own vacation rental should be looked after

We enjoyed our stay. We never used the pool as we were off exploring the island. We made breakfast every morning and then set off for adventures. Well stocked w towels and also beach chairs, umbrella, pool noodles, and boogie boards. We left a snorkel kit and fins to pay it forward for the next visitors. We would stay again.

Kihei was a great location to stay. Very central to the island, allowing for easy day trips all around the island. Close proximity to beaches, and food. Rooms were comfortable and had all the necessities. Pool and bbq area were a nice addition :)

Unit had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The place is a little dated, has very little hot water pressure and could use a bigger air conditioning unit. pool area was very nice with a Jacuzzi and nice barbecues. Very good Wi-Fi and TV system ,beach just across the street. 238 is an inside unit facing the tennis court. Nobody played tennis so if you like tennis, the court is all yours.Excellent value for Maui.

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet property. It was perfectly sufficient for our needs. It was a bit warm since the window air conditioner blows directly into the bedside table and couldn’t cool the entire unit. The louvered windows do not help keep the cool in.

This place is very affordable compared to everything else in Kihei. The place wasn't quite as cute/nice as we had hoped from the pictures. My main complaint was that there was only one towel rack to hang wet stuff... and on a beach vacation, we were always getting stuff wet that needed to dry! Some of the things that would be nice touches didn't really pan out... for example: the snorkel equipment seemed like a nice addition, but the 2 pairs of fins that would have fit us were both broken.
The dishes in the cabinet were dirty, so I had to wash before we ate on them. Also, my husband got bites twice after sleeping in the bed...
I don't like saying negative things in a review, but just want to be honest that we wouldn't stay here again.

We made some last minute plans for the holidays and were happy to find this studio unit at an affordable price! We really liked the location across from the Humpback Whale Center and Kalepolepo Beach in North Kehei. The whole complex was quiet, which was really necessary for us, and the two large gas grills, tennis court, hot tub and pool were all great perks. The unit itself was fine, nothing fancy. There is a cooler, beach chairs and umbrella, snorkels/masks, and beach shoes, which saves money on having to rent/buy them elsewhere. The bed was OK, and the laminate floor was slippery and creaky, but overall, I'd give this place the thumbs up.

Stay here if you want to be close to everything Kihei. The only downside was the wi-fi was so bad we couldn’t use it and there was no coffee provided which in my opinion is a must. We would come back!

Check in was simple, parking was always available and the location is great! The bed was very comfortable and the decor was appealing. Everything was clean and it was a great bonus to have AC and extra beach supplies(beach chairs, sand mats, snorkel gear). Would definitely stay again!

This condo is in a perfect location! It was also very clean and had almost everything we needed! The only bummer was that the a/c started intermittently turning on and off on the frst day. I did submit a note or "complaint" but never heard back from anyone. We slept with the window open for the remainder of the time which helped, except we got some pretty loud neighbors that arrived the next night, which kept us up.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again due to the awesome location, great ammenities and cleanliness of the property.

Great place to stay. Not like staying in a hotel but that's what we wanted. Central to all parts of Maui and a short walk to Kihei shops. With the doors open and screens closed it gets a beautiful breeze to cool you down. It had everything we needed including snorkeling gear and a boogie board.

We had a great time staying at this property in Kihei. The checkin was easy and everything you needed to know was mapped out from the beginning. The bed was comfy enough and everything was clean. The property had a lovely pool area which we took advantage of and nothing on the island was more than 45 minutes away (except for the road to Hana). My only wish was that the a/c was in a different spot because it couldn’t get the unit quite as cool as we’d like but if that’s all I can come up with then that’s fine by me. I would stay here again for sure. Thanks!

The keypad entrance made check-in simple nomatter when we arrived. The little park across the street had turtles in it every day. If I could change something, it would be the toilet paper. Calling it one-ply is generous. I stayed at a hostel prior to here with better to. However, I just bought some from the store up the street. Everything else was just what I expected.

Overall the unit looks fine with modern appliances and decent air conditioning and walking distance to the beach.
However, the most "exciting" part of the trip is that I encountered not just one, but TWO rats on separate nights here. On the second night, saw a rat scurrying in the bathroom much to the shock for me and my wife; while the property management company promptly responded the next day with a supposed inspection of the unit and an assurance that all holes/openings were sealed up, we yet AGAIN found another rat a couple nights later.
Clearly there is a significant mishap in the way that this entire condo complex is being run, as we asked locals all around Maui during our stay about this circumstance and to no one's surprise, while tropical pests such as roaches and lizards are common, this was the first hearing about rats in a rental property. According to VRBO's policies, a thorough sanitization process is to be performed per several global standards - and with a rampant pandemic that's still ongoing, a more serious and diligent process is absolutely mandatory BEFORE THE GUEST CHECKS IN to PREVENT such cases like this from happening.
While the company provided a refund for a couple of nights, this does not come close to compensating the mental distress placed upon us for the entire trip as we CORRECTLY feared that we would encounter another rat after the first one, and frankly didn't know if we'd find a third, fourth, fifth, etc. This completely tarnished the trip, caused sleepless nights and a fear for us to return to the unit each day, and the irresponsible and unaccountable response by the company is even worse. This was hospitality at its worst and a complete slap in the face of VRBO's mission - and the fact that this is still published on the website is also very unethical.

The place was so awesome! Great location and felt really roomy with the vaulted ceilings. My one complaint would be the pool area. A few friends and I were constantly harassed by the security guy during the day. Everything from no music at the pool, floats, chairs too close to the pool and so on. I felt like there a few full time residents there that have befriended to security to antagonize the the weekly renters. Other than that the unit was great and I would highly recommend.
