Worse bed ever. The floor would have been more comfortable, pillows smelly and flat. Be careful going on the patio, we close the door behind us cause the air was on and it locked, had to call the property manager on Christmas was out there 45 mins or so before we was saved. She was wonderful.

we love hawaii and this great little studio gave us a reason to come back. inexpensive and quaint. the residents who live there are friendly and loved the pool talks. hawaii depends on its tourism especially during this tragic time. we loved having a view of the water but the only downfall was road noise but thr ac unit helped drown it out😀

It was a great rental to stay in! Easy access and 30-40 minutes drive to everywhere we wanted to go! There is also more to this rental than listed…pool towels, beach chairs, hair dryer, etc. If I knew, I wouldn’t have packed as much. :)

Convenient location, and across the street from the pacific whale foundation museum and a nice park on the beach. Very clean and very well stocked kitchen. Best feature: a nice sliver view of the ocean. Least favorite attribute: street noise from busy Kihei Road. We got used to the noise and enjoyed our stay. (Noise only a problem when door to the porch is open for cool Pacific breeze)

Great, central location at North end of Kihei with easy driving access to beaches, shopping, and Kihei Cafe. Unit was clean, had a well equipped kitchen with mini stove/dishwasher. The refrigerator also came with 6 or 7 ice cube trays which was nice. Bed was semi comfortable, but the one of the windows didn’t close, plus the a/c wasn’t working very well - which probably affected the night time comfort. There isn’t much within walking distance but the location gave us easy access to everywhere. It also came with snorkel sets - nice touch. Unlike other unit we stayed in, this unit didn’t come with a boogie board. Small issues - we would stay again as the unit was quiet with plenty of parking.Nearby strip mall has a fair every 4 weeks called Fourth Friday. It’s entertainment, vendors & food all day and into the evening. A short drive South on the S. Kihei Dr has lots of beaches, shopping, and restaurants... of which Kihei Cafe is highly recommended. They are open for breakfast & lunch till 2pm only, but the line up forms early at 6:30-7am. I would avoid Paia Seafood restaurant on S. Kihei Dr - expensive and mediocre food you can get anywhere. Look for small, independent eatery or food trucks for best local fares. About 20 min drive South along the coast (follow the road o the right)Wailea-Mākena has some really pristine beaches! But parking is scarce, so get there early. Avoid Mākena State park waters as it is infested with sea urchins (ouch!). Farther South lava fields are something to see. On your way Shops at Wailea has Hawaiian programs during the day - highly recommended. Overall our stay was great. Management company personnel were great! If you have any issues or need help with booking, call them. They are awesome!Aloha!

The condo is in a great location right across the beach where you have a marine sanctuary and can see a lot of turtles.
The condo is facing a busy street so if you are a light sleeper you might hear the cars. We really enjoyed the stay and would come back.

This was a cute little condo. Very clean. Perfect for a couples getaway. Right across the street from a public beach. Condo was stocked with chairs, ice chest, beach towels, etc. It came in handy for our day trips. It is on the main highway so there is the road noise that others have mentioned but the convenient location more than made up for it in my opinion.

Kitchen is well stocked. The pool and hot tub on the premises are very nice; plus there is an area to BBQ with a gas grill if you are so inclined. Plenty of parking and a pass is provided.

We truly enjoyed our way too short of a stay. The residents we met that live on the property were incredibly kind to us. We felt so welcome and are sad to be leaving this beautiful place. The only thing that was a little wonky was the tray to the AC unit seemed to have some mold in it and when we ran the AC, it made the room smell like mildew. Other than that it was perfect.

The unit itself needs some upgrading. The sofa was old and uncomfortable as was the bed. All of the sheets, pillows etc need to be replaced. Pillows were badly stained

Easy to hear what’s going on in adjacent condos. Listening to crying babies or couples being intimate can get annoying.

Perfect studio located near the beach, perfect for our vacation. Easy to access, had pool and hot tub, great location, clean and comfortable. Met very nice people either staying or loving in other units.
Drawbacks were minor - we had to do all dishes by hand as all soap for laundry and dishwasher located in bin for laundry. Had to put everything away for pest treatment. Both not deal breakers.

Girlfiend and I were had a good stay here for 4 days. Check in was easy via lock box and the place was pretty clean. Internet wifi connection was good (logged into our Netflix account to stream shows), bathroom was really clean and the unit provided beach gear such as towels, snorkelling gear, etc. Lots of parking available, other people in the area were quiet and the location in Kihei is great as it's central to all the other areas of Maui.

This studio apt was just what my husband and I needed for our two week honeymoon -- One row back from the beach, it was centrally located from the airport & big beaches. About a mile away from most of the restaurants and shops, it was within walking distance but just far enough away for peace. Would deff recommend!

First of all let me tell you my experience with kihie bay surf #253: it was very nice, right next to the beach everything you need from the kitchen was there from rice cooker, to coffee maker, toaster I mean you can even make tamales here if you want too, that how well loaded this condo is. To beach chair and etc!! Now the bed was just fine the there is only one problem the couch, I would never ever sit there again in my life!!! I got rashes on my body from sitting there to watch tv. Every time I would try to lay or sit on the couch my skin would itch so bad that I had to shower many time throughout the day, not to mention my wife, she had bumps all over her back from just sitting there for a momment.if there are couch bugs here I would highly recommend to throw it away or fumigated against bed bugs ASAP. Overall the place was pretty nice and the price too except the couch!!!!!!!

Overall this place is awesome given its reasonable price point. Being located at Kihei, which brought easy access to major points of Maui (Lahaina, Wailea, Road to Hana, Crater, etc). The place is clean which is our number #1 need. They got enough cookware for us to cook breakfast and snacks. We spent most of our time outside so personally my wife and I got what we needed. The only thing that may concerns some people is the unit locates right next to the main road (south kihei road) which could be noisy at the evenings until 10pm. I'm a deep sleeper so that didn't bother me. Not sure Free WIFI has become a standard to most people, but having it available definitely helped us to plan our day to day activities much easier.

We rented a studio apartment in Kihei for four days. It was across the street from the ocean access and only a mile from the shopping district. It was clean and had WiFi and a swimming pool/hot tub access. The folks at Rentals Maui were helpful and patient. I'd recommend Rentals Maui to anyone who wanted to save money on accommodations and have a stress-free vacation.

This apartement was just perfect!It was clean,everything you needed was there and it was very pretty and in a good condition.We enjoyed our one week stay there very much, and would always stay there again when going back to Maui!
