On the upper level, you'll discover a grand master bedroom suite complete with a luxurious jacuzzi tub for your relaxation. Additionally, there's a second bedroom and bathroom for added convenience. The ocean-view kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, blender, and all the essentials needed to prepare delicious home-cooked meals right in the unit. The modern living and dining area provide a stylish and comfortable space to unwind, while the covered lanai offers a perfect setting for barbecuing and savoring breathtaking sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.

Kahele Kai's location affords stunning vistas of both Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach. Brennecke’s Beach is a mere 75 yards away, offering some of the best bodyboarding opportunities on the island. Poipu Beach, just a short distance away, offers a diverse range of activities, from a baby beach and snorkeling to swimming in Waiohai Bay and renowned surf spots.

This two story home has high ceilings, skylights, and views from every window. There is a lava rock garden surrounding the outside shower, a garden of citrus and banana trees, as well as an herb garden. Décor includes the surfboard the owner was using when he proposed to his wife at the beach over 30 years ago. Kahele Kai (translation "pathway to the ocean") is stocked with beach toys and a variety of baby gear including porta crib, baby gates and a baby seat that attaches to the dining table.

This home is REALLY close to Poipu and Brennecke's Beach, both can be seen from the home, and both are ideal versatile beaches which include surf spots, a baby beach, snorkeling, boogie boarding, swimming at Waiohai Bay and sunning on the golden sand. There are lovely whitewater views of the ocean and tropical swaying palms visible from the central living area and large lanai and the sunsets are not to be missed.

We are a nuclear family with ages ranging from 3 to 97 that saw this home and thought it would be the perfect place for us to vacation for our first time in Hawaii. It was absolutely amazing, so peaceful and beautiful, the furnishings were great, it was literally home away from home. The main level living was perfect for our Papa who is 97 and our Preteen young man who appreciates his time alone, but food close by. The upstairs was perfect as far as bedrooms go everything was wonderful. One of the things we miss the most is the deck, sitting out there and listening to the ocean and the birds, watching the sunset the amazing colors. Absolutely amazing paradise like place. Just around the corner to the beach, and the beach toys that are provided for use are wonderful. The air conditioning is awesome I thought that it really wouldn’t matter, but it is much more comfortable having air conditioning. The only frustration that we had, was that the main refrigerator and the ice machine did not work.

We had a wonderful stay at Kahele Kai. It was just as advertised with ocean views and short walkable distance to the beach. The property was spacious for our 7 extended family members. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. The kitchen was well outfitted including an extra small coffeemaker for our decaf person. One thing to be aware of is that the athletic club included with the rental while an excellent place is a good distance if walking.

I cannot say enough good things about this property and its management. I scoured the internet to find a home that would be comfortable with a good layout, have a great location, affordable, and be decorated in an inviting way. This house has it all! My husband and I traveled with my parents who are in their upper 70s and our children who are 9, 11, and 14. It met all our needs. In fact, there is plenty of space for bigger families or even two families vacationing together. The boys shared a spacious bedroom in the lower level that also has a living space couch, mini kitchen, high top table, tv, bathroom, and couch. Very nicely decorated. Upstairs has an open layout with beautiful views of the ocean. We often ate outside on the lanai to enjoy the fabulous breeze, overhead fans, and great views. The kitchen has everything you need. All drawers and cabinets are stocked and super organized. The bedrooms upstairs are spacious and have great AC units (as does the basement bedroom and family area). They are relatively quiet and super efficient. There are chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, and a big cooler. Fantastic for taking to the beach. It is close to the action (easily walkable) to Poipu Beach, Brennecke’s Beach and the Puka Dog restaurant. Delicious hot dogs with a variety of specialty relishes and sauces. The management team is great. They answered all of our questions and were so accommodating. I give this house and management a five star rating.

One of the reasons that we stayed here was the air conditioning. The main room air worked fine but the bedrooms and lower room units did not work at all. I was notified on our second day there that a repair service would be coming out to fix the units (which meant that they had not worked properly for the previous renters). They came and worked on the units but could not get them working. I reported this but got no response. The rest of the unit was wonderful and just as I remembered. I would go back again in a heartbeat. A credit of some amount would be appreciated for the inconvenience of NO air conditioning when it was expected.

A couple of us have a scent allergy and there was perfume smell when we entered the house especially in the lower level and a bit of dampness smell in lower level, but opening the windows and turning up the air conditioner in lower level helped and we rewashed the sheets as they smelled of scented fabric softener. Overall the rental was wonderful with a bit of communication problems, as I had sent an email about our scent allergy. The house was equipped with everything we needed, beach towels, cooler, chairs, beach umbrellas, all dishes and kitchen items needed. The house has a wonderful layout, beautifully landscaped, near ocean and a great view from the balcony, loads of ceiling fans and we were able to keep the house cool without using the air conditioners on top floor. My husband and I took our adult children and a partner to Poipu and stayed at Kaheli Kai for 12 days. It was the first time in many years we were all together for the holiday and it was a PERFECT location and home for our trip. The house was spacious with lots of room to break into different groups. The view from the deck was spectacular. The walkability to the beach for swimming and surfing and some local shops was so convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home. We had one problem (broken TV from power surge) that was addressed immediately with a new TV in less than 24 hours so we could have a fun movie night. Thank you for a perfect holiday.

This home has it all! The location is a very short walk to incredible beaches that meet everyone's needs. The closest beach is excellent for boogie boarding, then one block further is a shallow inlet that is perfect for small children (not to mention up close sea turtles daily), and a few steps further is fantastic snorkeling. Great food, shave ice, and restrooms are all centrally located. The home itself offers 3 large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's an ideal setup for 3 couples/small families traveling together. The house is well stocked with essentials, boogie boards, towels, beach toys and chairs. Breakfasts and barbecues hanging out on the lanai are a special treat. Having access to the sports, gym, pool, and food/drinks at the Poipu Athletic Club is a great perk of this property! We will definitely be back!

The pictures of the home on the website are accurate, and you won't be disappointed. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The location close to Baby Beach is perfect for families with young children, and the other beaches nearby provide great surfing for the more adventurous. You can't ask for nicer people at Poipu 365, the management group, as they were very welcoming and responsive. Great customer service. We will definitely rent this property again in the future and recommend it to our friends.

This is a gorgeous home, very spacious and comfy with a view of the shore. There is A/C in each of the bedrooms and family room as well as ceiling fans. The kitchen is well stocked and includes a toaster and blender. The lanai has a grill, couch, coffee table and a dining area. This home is great for two families or an extended family. The first floor has a separate bedroom/bathroom with a small kitchen. The second floor has two additional bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, and family room - very spacious. The location is walking distance to the beach (you can hear the waves crashing on the shore at night). There is a kid-friendly beach (barely any waves) nearby. We had an awesome stay.

This was our first time to visit Kauai and its the most beautiful place we've ever been. This property in Poipu was a great location... very short walk to the beach. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed. We especially loved having the beach chairs and boogie boards to take to the beach. The house was very spacious with plenty of room and bathrooms. It was comfortable and had everything we needed!

We were pleasantly surprised how spacious the house was. The house had three large bedrooms, separate bathrooms, and a nice master suite. The house was conveniently located half a block from the beach and down the street from Brennecke's Beachfront Restaurant, which has amazing ahi tacos. The property managers left a lot of amenities in the house to help out; sun screen, soap, shampoo, beach toys, etc. Overall, our group was very happy with out stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the property again.

The house was really nice with a nice, big kitchen. We also really liked the layout with what you could almost consider a separate unit downstairs, it's own living area, bedroom and bathroom. That was really good for us with a 2 year old.The only thing I gave 4 stars for instead of 5 was location. It's really a great location, close to Brennecke and Poipu beaches, but you can't (at least from what we could tell) walk the 75 yards straight to Brennecke unless you walked across other properties' yards - which we didn't think would be polite. We walked on the road which made it more of a 5-10 minute walk instead of a 2 minute walk. No big deal, but thought I'd mention it.Overall, really great property with really nice management. Would stay again.

The location was perfect for walks along the beach every day. The house was very nice. Some of the furniture/appliances/stereo/television are worn and need replaced/upgraded. I wasn't sure what to expect but was surprised to find most everything we would need to make our stay comfortable (shampoo/conditioner, beach towels, ice cooler, etc.). Overall we loved the house and location. We only wish we would have stayed longer than 7 nights.

It was immaculate when we arrived and we had rented a wagon, umbrella and beach chairs and they were waiting for us at the front door. The house is spacious and well laid out. We found that there were tons of beach toys, boogie boards and chairs for us to use. We loved the outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. It was a fantastic location and a great place to stay for 10 days. We will be back again!

The house was perfect, my parents had their own separate area downstairs with a living room, kitchenette and bedroom/bath. It worked out great. The home had all the stuff needed for the kids (high chair, pack n play). With small kids we ate at the home quite a bit. The kitchen area was great. Everyone's favorite spot was on the lanai. We will be back for sure!

My husband loved going on early morning runs, my sons enjoyed going out walking around Poipu and exploring, I enjoyed hanging out on the lanai and early morning walks on the beach (always saw turtles and monk seals lying about), my 13 year old took her journal down to the beach and just relaxed, my parents enjoyed resting and having a leisurely breakfast on the lanai... The location is amazing. We were steps away from the bodyboarding beach, but it was super crowded (spring break) so we walked on only about 100 yards or so to the Poipu beach, which was crowded as well but had more room to for sure. My son and I snorkeled (the break was a bit rough, so just watch the currents and ask the lifeguards especially if you're not used to snorkeling.) We saw a lot of healthy fish, including the state fish and all the regulars. After beach, the outdoor shower at the house is just so great. I really want one for my house, and we don't even live steps to a beach!! We ate in 3 nights of our 4, and that worked well for us. The kitchen had everything we could want. Bring some of your own coffee beans or a pack of ground coffee- when we were there there was a coffee grinder and a coffee machine with plenty filters. We just needed some beans and we were all set.The rooms were perfect for our party- boys each got a queen bed in the lower level, and their own bathroom. On the top floor, my parents had a King bed and a hallway full bathroom right outside their door, and my husband and I and our daughter had the room with the King/twin with the en-suite bathroom- plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The AC is so great also. We live in Hawaii so we are used to tropical living, but it's nice to have AC to freshen up the air as needed. A little difficult to find at night just because the island is so dark and the road looked almost like a walking path. It was very clean and very well appointed. We took advantage of the beach towels and two boogie boards. Note that two of the boards and one chair were busted when we got there and I set them aside with a note. The Monk Seals and Sea Turtles were memorable and everything was very chill. My only complaint about the island is that the damn chickens start crowing at 3am and don't seem to want to stop. But that's not the fault of this lovely property.

The house is everything you would expect, fantastic location for beach access and comfortable all the way around. It seems that what you can expect for beach supplies can change over time, we no longer find any snorkle gear at the house, but there were plenty of chairs, boogie boards, coolers, and sand toys for kids. You can rent everything else at the surf shop next to the beach. Everyone was renting Tommy Bahama umbrellas from them. What you find in the kitchen for spices can change based on the shopping done by the person before you, so I recommend coming to the house first and then make a shopping list from what they don’t have. You only need to back track 20 min to get to Costco or the 24hr Safeway.

The place was awesome! Great location. Walking distance to Poipu beach. Not as clean as we would have liked in the beginning but management did send someone out to re-clean. If you want to snorkel, boogie board, surf, lounge on the beach, swim with sea turtles, this is a great spot. Plenty of space. We would stay here again!

Outdoor shower was also a plus. Had 2 large ice chests, beach / snorkeling gear and chairs although a few of the chairs needed replacement. Would definitely stay here again.

Huge house, tons of room for all 5 of us with visits from a family of 16 for a Lanai BBQ! Lizards and frogs, beautiful flowers and trees, bananas and mangos in the yard, very quiet neighborhood. Downstairs apartment that can be separate or not, upstairs huge and roomy with great decorations. Washer/dryer, dish washer, showers and tub. Easiest stay ever! Other family was so jealous that we found this place when they visited! Easy in and out and quick responses from management.

This house has a ton of space and was super clean and comfortable. We stayed with our two teenagers and had a ton of extra room. It is a short walk to the beach and the house had everything we needed. Pictures are accurate and the layout is perfect. One of the best VRBO's we have stayed at. We would recommend this house without reservation. There are condo's in town that have better views, but we spent our days out and about (so we didn't need a view during the day). Having the space made the nights so perfect that we would certainly pick this house again. Hard to beat.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Location, Location, Location! Close to everything yet your own oasis. Morning coffee on the lanai, listening to the waves, wonderful sunsets. The patio overlooking the beach was the best feature, both for work and for meals/drinks. Well stocked kitchen and super close to all of the things we wanted to do near Poipu. Club access was also great for the pool and sports. Only small gripe was that the place did not come with shampoo and conditioner, so be sure to pack those.

The kitchen had all the tools we needed to cook meals. We loved being able to hear the ocean from the lanai. The house was clean, we did have a few ants but we knew being on an island that could happen! It wasn’t anything we had to call and complain about. The 3 full bathrooms worked great and we used the washer and dryer daily! Overall, we would highly recommend staying at this property. The added bonus of the Poipu beach club membership was great! We loved using the gym and pool.

We are a family of 5 and this house was perfect for us! We walked to the beaches everyday - loved how close Brennekees beach deli was to the house (perfect for an afternoon shave ice!). The kitchen was well equipped, we ate two nights in and went out for most dinner meals. Loved how close the house was to some amazing restaurants (the beach house, da crack). My only complaint was that there were ants in the house but I think that’s to be expected since it is a tropical island. It wasn’t anything we couldn’t live with so we didn’t bother calling the property manager. We also loved the membership to the Poipu beach club - we played pickle ball, swam and worked out almost everyday there. Overall, I would highly recommend this property! We were so glad it had AC!!!!!

It was disappointing that the house was not well stocked with paper products. We rent out our lake cabin and provide more than enough paper products for the duration of our guests stay. The kitchen is spacious but if you want to cook be sure to stock up on spices as there will be none in the cupboards. Plenty of dishes and flatware but it would be nice if the owners would get better quality knives for the cooks. The placement of the dishwasher is regrettable for those who are tasked with emptying it as it is hard to reach cupboards that are blocked by a dishwasher door, especially if you can't even reach above it. The barbecue was not in good working condition, which was a big disappointment. The hot water tank quit one of the days and after cold showers all around, we were told it was because it had been a cloudy day before and the tank was solar powered which made it fail. Be sure to keep the deck door closed or the lovely birds will come in for a visit. Overall the home was lovely but I am not sure we would rent it again.
