Perfect spot to stay in Maui, close to everything. Your own beach for walking or sunsets right out your door. Everything you need, nothing you don’t.Maui is and will always be my favorite island & the Waiohuli is a great property. This makes our 5th time there now.

We truly enjoyed our stay at D-221. It was comfortable and probably the best equipped kitchen I've run across in my travels. The bed was super comfortable. Bathroom modern with a nice shower. There were enough towels, beach equipment, etc. No issues with AC in bedroom -- used only once. The cool nights were perfect for sleeping without it. The beach along this stretch is really pretty and walkable. When you hit spots on the beach that you cannot walk because of water level, you can walk around even if hotel property.Seems a lot of places I am staying at recently limit toilet paper. Why is that? Seems like the littlest thing to have customer purchase, but I am on vacation and do I really have to run an errand to buy toilet paper of all things? As well, TP is sold in volumes greater than a weeks stay. So I left many rolls only for you. It feels like you are nickel and diming your customer when the cost to stay and fees associated are no small ticket.

The location was amazing! Just steps away from the beach. It was so nice and clean. The bathroom was newly renovated. Had everything you could possibly need, a cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella (appeared broken.)
One note, no AC in the living room, but had an AC unit in the bedroom.

We had a lovely stay here. The king bed was very comfortable. Very nice to be able to watch the ocean from the lanai and walk right out on the beach. Lots of turtles feeding just off the beach. Sunsets were amazing! Expect calm mornings and windy afternoons here due to location.
Thank goodness for the AC in the bedroom as it was hot and humid for most of our visit and the breeze does not really flow through the apartment well.
The location in Kihei is nicely central on the island and the apartment location is close to local grocery store.
The apartment furnishings are dated but functional. We didn't use the kitchen for any cooking but it appeared well stocked. The description said there were beach chairs and a cooler to use. Beach chairs were great. Cooler was disappointing. The cooler was very small and soft-sided which did not hold enough for an all day outing. We purchased a larger hard-sided cooler which we kept in the car with food and drinks and donated it to the apartment for future guests. Description of amenity pack says it comes with 2 rolls of toilet paper, ours came with 1 roll 1/4th full and 1 under the sink. My opinion is that there should be 2 under the sink in addition to whatever is left on the roll. Overall, we would probably stay there again.

My boyfriend has severe food allergies, so on vacation we will need a place that had everything we needed in terms of a kitchen as well as access to island fun. This place (while the furniture is slightly out of date) has everything we needed from boogie boards and a cooler, to towels, a great view from the balcony and an updated bathroom. We loved the quiet beach access for morning walks and the location to the super market as well as Maui brewing. Highly recommend!

Overall ok, rice cooker didn’t work and toaster was charring on 2, frypans didn’t sit flat on burners and the big square plates were pretty chipped. Very clean and a nice place, just those minor details.

Great location! Thought it was actually even nicer than the pictures made it look. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need for cooking a meal. Had things you could borrow/use like beach towels, beach chairs, pool/beach toys, etc. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The unit also had beach chairs and towels.The decor is a little dated but everything is comfortable and clean. The unit has a fantastic view. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai. The location of the complex is appealing to us because we were able to walk to coffee shops, restaurants and grocery store.The complex is generally quiet. As title says, coffee maker did not work right. Made a huge mess when I tried to use it. It needs to be replaced. Keurig would be nice. Everything else was great.
