This is a great location, steps from the beach. General condition is great and kitchen has all the utensiles and gear for a great stay. It is very quiet and you hear the waves at the beach all the time. The large swimming pool is steps away as well.The BIG ISSUE with this unit is inadequate hot water. When taking a shower you have enough hot water to wash your face only. Then the water turns cold. This was uncomfortable and we reported lack of hot water to management. Ask if the hot water is fixed before renting.

Best-located unit in the complex - right on the beach with only a small grass yard separating patio from the beach. First impression was mixed as I arrived late at night with all windows shut (no A/C) with unit hot and smelling a mixture of smoke and air fresheners. A nights worth of cross breeze and the morning sunrise rectified the first impression just perfectly. I was under impression unit had dishwasher and in-unit washer/dryer (it has neither). Not that big of a deal, just managing expectations. Beautiful sunsets every evening and centrally located within Kihei, close to groceries, gyms, food trucks and restaurants. Would return!

Great condo right on the beach, a perfect location! Loved being on the ground floor and crossing the grass and hitting the beach. Appreciated having the boogie boards/chairs/towels (even reef approved sunscreen was available!). Had spectacular sunsets and in the evening you can watch the turtles coming in for the night (what a treat!) Should have stayed for another week! Darn job, always interfering with Maui fun.

This condo is in the perfect location with such a walkable beach right outside the door. Having a grocery store within walking distance as well as several restaurants so close is a real bonus. The condo itself is showing its age and is poorly maintained, and the kitchen is very poorly equipped. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower but the rest of the room is in need of TLC. We have been spending a lot of time ON Maui since retirement and found this unit over priced and not comparable to others we have stayed in .

Pros- beautiful quiet location. Kitchen functioned well.Cons - toilet flushing was dicey. Blinds and louvres need repair. Sliding doors need improvement. Shabby furniture, need better seating. Missing guide books and reading material, games. Brita filter for drinking water is needed. It took 45 minutes to reach maintenance when the water heater stopped working.

One of the best locations in the complex with a few minor issues. The kitchen arrangement is difficult... the sink next to frig,the stove way bigger than needed. Watch your head when the cabinet door with the glasses is open. This door is wider than the counter top. There are over 10 very dull sharp knives and all should be sharpened or discarded. Three would be plenty. The L shaped kitchen arrangements in other units are easier to use. Lots of owner items in the bedroom closet limit guest space a bit. The beach chairs are about done for. The cooler is just the right size for going to the beach. Bathroom and bedroom are comparable to the other units we have rented. You pay a little extra for the location and overall comfortable unit.

We have stayed here once before the renovations...We jumped at the chance to stay here again because of the renovations and we were very happy with how the condo has been completed. The condo has decent stock of cooking utensils and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom was renovated too and the shower is awesome. Now, saying this, we also stay here because of the 65 steps to the ocean and the overall location with very easy access to all of Kihei and amenities. Finally we appreciate the professionalism from RentalMaui. They are informative and are timely with their emails. A nice feature when they provide a useful hospitality app for the condo and area.

The Location to the beach was the best. But somethings were lacking. The bathroom could be updated, a lot. The kitchen should have had a dishwasher, there was room. Some of the structure around the windows needed to be repaired. For the price, in hallway closet should have had a stackable washer/dryer. Believe stove top needs to be serviced and the toaster. Other than location to beach, We felt the price was a little high for what you got overall.

Excellent location, beautiful view of the ocean and beach. No air conditioning, however during our stay it was not required as there was a nice breeze at all times. There are ceiling fans in the living area and bedroom. No dishwasher or washer/dryer in the unit. Some fresh paint on the walls would improve the overall looks of the condo. We would definitely stay here again. The resort grounds were well looked after and the people were very friendly.

We had a wonderful time at this condo - our favorite of our trip by far! The bed was super comfortable, and with all of the windows and fans, we were fine without AC. We loved the new outdoor furniture and spent a lot of time out there. The best part was the semi private beach behind the condo. No need to go anywhere to watch the sunrise or sunset. And the condo was fully stocked with supplies for the occasional and inevitable bug that got inside. I will say - this is a comfortable, homey feeling condo.... not lavish, or a 5 star resort... which is not what you would expect when renting a condo. We hope to be back!

Overall, I had an enjoyable and relaxing vacation. I have stayed at WBH several times and really like the location and amenities. I was a little disappointed with the unit D-127 - from the tired and worn carpet, to the screen on the side window that wasn't the right size or fit, to the worn facecloth that had holes in it - it seemed like the place had been somewhat "let go". Because of the unit's location, there was often quite a bit of noise from foot traffic and the property next door. Also, on my last day, there was a large cockroach in the kitchen (which I managed to kill), the first I have ever seen in my stays at WBH. I would definitely return to WBH, but not to unit D-127 unless it gets some upgrades.

The view and outdoor access is fantastic. The beach is steps away. Not really a swim beach but it is perfect for walking and wading. Nice pool and grilling area. The pool is not especially kid friendly, does not allow any type of pool toys or snorkel gear. With that said it is still nice to have a pool! Easy walking to grocery store and other amenities. As others have noted it is a little outdated and no dishwasher. I would stay here again with no hesitation.

First time in Maui and enjoyed it alot. Firstly the communication from the Rental Maui people was perfect. Not over bearing yet just the right amount. Information we received was timely and efficient... thank you!!! As for the rental. The location is the best with only 70 or so steps to the beach. Awesome green areas and pool is really good. The condo itself definitely needs some attention. Cleanliness is lacking as you can see in the bathroom in the corners dirt is now permanent and the tub and tile are stained (we bought cleaning stuff but didn't help)and the bathroom cabinet has seen much better days. The carpet floor seems to be as old as the condo and could be replaced with ceramic tile. And the windows haven't been cleaned in a long while. We think for the most part cosmetic stuff and with minor work this place would be the rental of the island. SO,overall cleaniless would be 1.5 out of 5... location 5 out of 5 and would I come back to this suite...if they did some minor maintenanc definitely yes

The exterior of this property is very well kept, pool is nice, ground are very peaceful and quiet. The beach is beautiful and swimmable, there are some gorgeous trees surrounding the property. The beach is actually a very long strand with beautiful sunsets. Also this unit #119 is very private and the closest to the beach, also the outdoor shower was awesome.However the unit itself is extremely outdated, everything about it from the lamps to the fixtures. Nothing has been upgraded or changed, it's circa 1960 and it shows. Also NO A/C, it was 90 degrees our entire two week stay, with humidity and it was hot all day and night in the unit. The unit needs upgrades and very inexpensive changes that would make a world of a difference. Also the bathroom and especially the shower were not clean. The kitchen stove top was dusty. This property is nice and peaceful but I would not stay in this unit again. Unless they put in an a/c and updated fixtures, appliances and stop using sheets that are paper thin from being washed a gazillion times.

Great location in central Kihei. This unit is ground floor beach front and probably 75 yards to the beach. I like hearing surf from the condo! We like staying here and renting a jeep to explore the island... Don't forget to visit the Aloha Plate for good locals food and $3.50 Mai Tais on HR!! Then MonkeyPOD restaurant for best beer and food happy hour. great time. No questions!!! Just do this!! Then the "Trilogy" to Lani for "snuba" and whales. Again NO QUESTIONS!!! DO THIS!! And, if you follow this plan and have no fun, take up knitting!!!

My wife and 3 year old daughter stayed at this condo in late January, visiting from Anchorage, AK. Overall we thought the place was great for the price. We really liked how quite the property was, how close the lania was from the beach. There were two things that would probably make us consider a different location next time though: 1. The carpet in the living room/hallway has got to go. Considering the humidity and proximity to a sandy beach, after a few day the carpet seemed unhygienic. Vacuuming the carpet filled the condo with stale, moldy smelling air that was produced by the vacuum. 2. It seemed like every afternoon, there would be a group of 2-3 homeless individuals who liked to relax on a grassy, shaded area just before the beach on the adjacent property. The condo is located next to a church that provides food to the homeless. The people seemed nice enough, but something we will consider the next time we visit.

Fabulous location, great complex but this unit needs some care to be put in.The rug was very dirty Kathy at Maui rentals was great and had it cleaned the next day. One of the kitchen cupboard doors was off with a note saying it would be fixed (wasn't) Kitchen lighting very poor. No dishwasher or oven. Popcorn ceilings need to be cleaned and painted,deadbolt lock should be installed. May seem like small things but when compared to some of the other units it adds up as they are mostly the same price. Would stay at this complex again but not this unit.
