We enjoyed staying at this condo. Location cannot be more perfect. We watched the sunset every single day. The fact that we had everything we needed (beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler box) to go play at the beach with our 17 month old baby every morning, it’s just beyond our expectation. We also love the idea of the quiet time from 10pm to 8am. We dont have noise ordinance where we live so it’s a nice thing to have when on vacation. Michael is super responsive and helpful. We were confused abt the door mechanism at first so hopefully it will get fixed soon for future guests.

We had a pleasant stay. Michaels place was just about perfect. We think it is our favourite condo out of the ones we ever stayed in Hawaii. Very nicely decorated, clean and equipped with everything you would ever need. The location was close to all things important and also not right in the middle of it. The grounds were really well kept, great pool also with amazing place for watching sunsets. Only downsize would be that these condos have not really soundproof windows in the bedroom and this particular being right by the staircase and main entrance, couple time we got awaken by drunken returning patron. Other than that we loved every bit of it and would love to come back one day. Thank you, Michael

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at Michael's place. The condo has a well equipped kitchen, which was nice because we cooked at least two meals a day there. The neighbor was super nice and loaned my kids books to read. The complex has a swimming pool which my kids and I used almost every day, and shaded seating facing the ocean which I found to be the perfect place for me to work remotely. There is a liquor/grocery store right next door which has the essentials. The location of the complex was a short drive from most amenities (20 mins to airport, <10 mins drive to downtown Kailua, <10 mins to Magic Sands beach, 10ish mins to KTA Superstore, 15 mins to Target/Walmart/Safeway). Michael was super easy to reach and provided us with all the information we needed up front, and stayed in contact with us during the trip in case we had any questions. Highly recommended.

Great stay. There was plenty of beach gear available. Quiet, peaceful. Would be nice to have a small spot curtained off for changing so that those sleeping on the pullout don’t have to use up the one bathroom.

This location was a great find! The views from the “beach” area were great for watching the sunset every evening. The condo was conveniently located to the market and to town whether walking or driving.
The only downside was the pool being closed for maintenance. But, management made it easy for us to use the pool next door.
The condo was well stocked and very clean. We didn’t spend much time there except at night, but we had everything we needed. I appreciate that directions for check-in and check-out were very clear.

Our family had a wonderful time on the big island, the condo is in a great location, close enough to Kona to enjoy, but in a peaceful area. We were able the eat breakfast out near the ocean at the condo complex. The sunsets were beautiful from the same spot. Enjoyed talking to some of the residents and other vacationers. The condo was nice and had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Hawaii.

Excellent spot to hang out at or use as a day trip base. Right on the ocean, we saw whales, Spinner Dolpnins and fish galore. Sunset is a community event (like a happy hour of sorts). Grounds are well kept by the resident manager (thanks John!).
Our unit was close to the parking lot, so if you're a light sleeper..... Unit was fairly well supplied (could use more small spoons). Over all, we'd stay at Kona Isle again!

The bed was super comfortable, the condo was very nice and clean, the owner had enough snorkeling stuff for 2 with plenty of chairs for for going to the beach. There was some water damage from the upstairs condo, but the property manager michael is a awesome communicator and took very good care of us. I would surely rent this place again.

The unit itself has been updated and is very comfortable and clean. Very nicely decorated with a great Hawaiian vibe. Lots of amenities provided which makes it very convenient when going to the beach. Michael was very quick to respond to messages.
The property is very well maintained. They replaced barbecues to industrial ones during our stay. They worked very well. The only suggestion I can make is that they fix the lighting at the beach / barbecue area. One working light when the sun goes down at 5:30 pm made for a slightly dark dining experience at the beach. Clean pool area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unit - the place was newly remodeled, beautiful, and very clean. Check in and out was straight forward and well explained, and communication was a breeze. Bed was comfortable, shower was spacious, and the sliding glass door leads right out onto the lawn towards the ocean. The kitchen was extremely well and even had plenty of spices, ingredients, and oil for cooking. The closets had plenty of extra materials like snorkel equipment, pool noodles, boogie boards, beach towels, beach bags and umbrellas. Living space was enjoyable and the smart TV had all the apps you could want for streaming too. The grills out by the ocean past the pool worked well for cooking fish and watching the sunset. Overall we would certainly stay here again!

The location was great as it is an ocean front and distance is centralized. The unit was updated, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen supplies was very complete and impressive. The only thing is the noise level from upstairs and from the bedroom windows which happens to be a hallway/ walkway to and from the parking lot and the ocean front area. Would have been perfect if not for the noise.

This property was a great place to stay while in Kona. We loved Kona Isle and we loved staying at this condo. The unit was clean, nicely furnished and we had a lot of space to relax in. The grounds are beautiful with a great view of the ocean, a nice pool and BBQ area. The location was perfect and is very close to everything. The people who stay/live at Kona Isles are very welcoming to renters and everyone was very friendly!
Michael was a great host and he kept in touch prior and during the rental. Check-in/check-out was very easy. I highly recommend staying here! We would definitely stay here again!

This unit was great for our time on the Big Island. It is in a good location and the property is right by the water. The unit was very clean, modern, and very well set up. The kitchen is especially well-stocked with useful equipment that isn't normally found at rentals. The host was in touch regularly and very helpful. No complaints, and we had a great time staying in this unit.

I really enjoyed going out to the water's edge to see the sunset each night with several other guests. I saw a pod of dolphins one day out there! Very relaxing. Pretty much everything that was needed was there and then some. Very comfortable. Michael was a good communicator and very accessible. 😎

Loved the property. Michael was very responsive and helpful. Check-in/check-out was a piece of cake, The condo has a great location, just a short distance from the shops on Ali’i Drive.

The condo was a lovely space. Perfectly located, just outside of downtown; so it was quiet, except for the birds and the waves, but still close enough to get into town with a short bike ride or drive.
The condo had high quality snorkel sets, which were very useful for adventures especially with how close good snorkeling was.
The rest of the complex skewed older (think 40+), but everyone was incredibly friendly, and there was always good natured conversation happening down by the water for sunset.
Oh, and there were grills right by the ocean, so you could grill and hunt for the green flash at the same time. Michael was incredibly responsive, and very easy to work with. All in all, 10/10, 5/5 however you want to call it, would stay again.

The place was a little dated, but it was clean, comfortable, and priced well. It is at the back of the complex by the parking lot, but it is only 30 seconds to the beach. The bed was comfortable.
